Ski Trip to Breck
Beautiful house. Plenty of room for our group of six. The house is a little off the “beaten path”, but that is part of the charm. Owners were very easy to work with.

Peak 7 Log Home
This home is in a beautiful quiet location up Ski Hill Rd. Although you can't walk into town, it is in a great location. It is a short drive up, just past the Peak 8 Adventure area. Part of the road is unpaved, so be prepared for some dust but that kind of adds to the adventure. There are hiking trails close by and you can also ride the gondola up and down the mountain if you choose to do that over driving down to town. The home is very spacious and clean. It is as described and communication with the owners was very easy. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed our stay and hated to leave.

Wonderful accommodations. Fully equipped home. We enjoy cooking and were able to easily prepare our favorites especially outdoor grilling. Hot tub was awesome after difficult hikes. Pet friendly which was a huge plus. Easy drive into town various hikes and golf. Very comfortable!

Wonderful stay, equally wonderful hosts!
We had a relaxing week at this lovely property! First, the property itself. The house was exactly as described and was stocked with just about anything you might need. It was incredibly clean and well maintained. We enjoyed many evenings watching stars in the hot tub and were graced with deer outside the large master suite windows. The home was spacious, with plenty of room for a larger family or even two small families. Our host was extremely communicative, quickly answering any questions we had. I was particularly impressed with multiple communications the morning of our check-in day, when she was trying to reach us to let us know the family checking out had reported the refrigerator wasn’t working. She gave us the option of a fully refunded cancellation or to remove the first night’s rental fees since she couldn’t get a repairman out on the holiday. I could tell she felt truly sorry as the refrigerator was less than a year old. Even after me assuring her that we could make due out of a cooler until it was fixed and we would be fine, she still refunded us the night’s stay. It wound up taking a few days as it was unrepairable and they had to deliver a new one, but there was communication and. sincere apologies throughout the process. Things happen, but I’ve stayed at enough places to know that owners don’t always take care of it or sometimes even act like they care. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Relaxing log home in the woods
We were here the week prior to our daughter’s wedding. The beautiful log home had everything we needed to relax and give us peace before our wedding guests came in including a full kitchen, hot tub and table outside to play games. Thank you!

This log cabin house is fabulous- It’s spacious & airy & clean. Great location to downtown Breck. Lots of space for plenty of people. Owners very easy to communicate with. Highly recommended staying here!!

Amazing cabin in the forest
My wife and I loved this cabin!! The drive up thru the forest as a fox crossed our path was the perfect way to start the stay. Inside there was tons of space and lots of windows. We even saw 3 moose in the yard and interacted with a fox on the patio. The hot tub was a welcome relaxation after a day on our atv. We highly recommend this cabin and will stay here again!!

Bucket list vacation!
We brought our 2 sons and dog for a much needed getaway after a year stuck at home during COVID. The cabin felt so warm and inviting, we were right at home. It’s pretty far up the mountain for people not used to mountain travels. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended based on our experience. It snowed pretty heavily one day and we mistakenly took the unpaved road toward peak 8 and got stuck. It was a big frightening. Thankfully Breckinridge is full of friendly, helpful folks. We would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks so much!

Winter wonderland
What a fantastic getaway! Location was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thank you for sharing your property with us! The only downside were the Christmas decorations in February. It seems to be the theme for the entire town and surrounding areas. The tree and decorations that were up, were very dusty and outdated. The cabin would have been more appealing and “homey” without them. We did see two moose come through the neighbors yard and it was amazing! We would definitely rent again!!!

Beautiful home with plenty of room for our party of eight! Easy access for check in, garage space available for vehicles, and a well equipped kitchen. We just wish we knew ahead of time that in addition to a standard coffe pot there is also a Keurig. Would definitely stay here again!

This cabin was the perfect place for our family! Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great access to Breckinridge. Kids loved the hot tub and exploring the woods behind the house. One of the best family vacations we’ve ever had! We’ll be back!

Loved the property
The place is beautiful and the wildlife around the place is extraordinary. We had a mishap trying to get down the hill with ice on the road but after purchasing some chains for the tires, we were good to go.

Absolutely excellent Feb 2020
Stayed here with family and friends for a week of skiing mid-Feb and it was the perfect lodge to house all of us. Amenities were great, awesome 2-car garage, rooms & bathrooms and central kitchen suited us perfectly. Recommend, 5 stars!

Wonderful House
We enjoyed our stay and was very impressed with how well the house was equipped. Our stay was cut a day short as the snow storm came in on Thursday.

We reside in Wisconsin and made our first trip to Colorado and stayed in Breckenridge in 1990. We absolutely fell in love with the town and purchased a condo shortly thereafter. Our sons who are adults now, attended the Breckenridge Ski School each year during our winter family vacation.

We decided to sell our condo and build this log home so we could bring our dogs on vacation with us so it would be a total family vacation. We picked this area in the forest because it is only a one block walk to access hiking/mountain bike trails from our home and is only a 5 minute drive to downhill skiing

Our home has a private hot tub which is wonderful after a full day of skiing or cycling. Our home is also pet friendly so families who stay in our home can bring their entire family with them and enjoy the mountains
