We LOVED staying here! The house is amazingly furnished and equipped. Very clean. It was a very quiet, peaceful place. We loved sitting on the deck just enjoying the beautiful view, watching the birds and freighters.Karen, the host, was very kind and friendly and easy to interact with. We definitely would love to stay here again!

Great house. Lots of amenities. The view from the living room was amazing. We saw a few of the local critters. House had more than enough room for the 6 of us. Lots of books and DVDs. We loved the feeling of solitude, but were super close to St Ignace. Great location.

Stay with Mighty Mac

Amazing home for family! We are a family of 7 and eating out every meal just isn’t feasible. This home keeps you together while cooking meals and allows everyone to have space too. This kitchen is very cook friendly. Location is tops for all the places you might want to visit. View is by far the best! Will be back.

We already booked again for next year -which will be year 4! Karen is a wonderful host and her home is beautiful, spacious and the setting is amazing. The water is shallow, so it’s warmer for Lake Michigan, and the house stays fairly cool being water front with the AC units. It’s clean and well stocked - we feel extremely fortunate to have this as our family yearly VRBO tradition! Love it!

A great getaway for our family reunion

This home is very open and welcoming with high ceilings and large common rooms. The master bedroom suite is especially spacious. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine at night on the three decks overlooking Lake Michigan and the Mackinac bridge. And when we weren't at the beach, we took walks along the lakeside road in this quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and view of Lake Michigan

Nice house with a few inconveniences.

We had an excellent time in the area. The location was perfect. The only down side was that there is no wifi in the house. It made it difficult for one of our friends to stay in touch with his work and another sports fan couldn’t watch an opener of his football team. Also only one small TV in the entire house. We wouldn’t stay there again just for those reasons. But the house was very roomy and very well kept.

Our (5 senior adults) stay was amazing! We had no idea that Upper Peninsula, MI, had so much to offer. This home was the perfect space for us to explore all there was to see and do.

Wonderful Stay Once Again!

Beautiful, well stocked home with amazing views! We are already booked again for next year and hope to continue for many years 😊It’s hard to find somewhere that we can get our adult kids together once a year - all the way from Texas and Wisconsin - and fit comfortably. The owner, Karen, is very responsive and kind. The only complaint is that the week goes too quickly!

The view from the deck with the Mighty Mac and Lake Michigan was wonderful. We were there two weeks and used it as a home base for exploring some of the Upper Peninsula. Our longest trip was about two hours away when we went to take the Pictured Rocks boat tour on Lake Superior.

Great Place to Stay

This was a very nice place to stay. Had all you could need (minus WiFi for the kids) but that wasn’t a problem. We got a hotspot for when we were hanging out at the house. Clean and comfortable. Great location, conveniently located to a lot of places. And the view is amazing! Communication with owner was superb and she suggested wonderful things to do and food to try.

This is a great home away from home! You can begin your day with a cup of Java sitting on the deck and look at the Mighty Mackinac Bridge, passing freighters, swans and perhaps an eagle! Many day trips to beautiful Upper Peninsula places--come home to relax!

My property is 4 levels with 2 decks and a back yard with 214' of Lake MI waterfront property. Using boat shoes, you can navigate swimming or fishing, with a license, on my property. It is a soothing vista of water, sometimes smooth and sometimes whitecaps are seen!
