Your dream getaway in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is awaiting you. Starting with our raised ranch home where you can indulge in the captivating beauty of Lake Michigan as you watch the majestic freighters pass by from the comfort of your living room.
This well stocked and inviting 4-bedroom, 2-bath home is the perfect escape for families, friends, or groups seeking to enjoy the UP. Located in close proximity to various attractions, you'll have plenty of opportunity to make lasting memories.

Just a quick word on the measures we are currently taking regarding this time and the COVID-19 virus. After every guest stay we are disinfecting all heavy traffic surfaces (door knobs, faucets, remotes, cabinet handles, fridge handles, etc). Also all linen, weither used or not, is washed, sanitized, and changed. We are doing all we can to ensure your stay is a safe stay. If you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask.

We enjoyed our stay here! The view from the living room is great. The house was well stocked from garbage bags to spices to firewood. It was clean and as described. There was plenty of space both upstairs and downstairs and enough seating in the kitchen for 8. It is in a great location if you want to visit Mackinac Island or if you are exploring the UP.

Great location

Centrally located to several key locations. Very close to downtown St Ignace and Deer Ranch. Spacious home and well stocked. Beautiful views from the living room/front porch.

The Lokken Family

This property was a good fit for our family of 8 adults. It was nice to have a bathroom on each level. We split the bathrooms between upstairs and downstairs couples. The extra downstairs space was also nice for storing our extra items (coolers, etc.)There was just one issue that came up. The air conditioner exhaust hose (on the upper level) was disconnected when we arrived. The duct tape holding it to the window vent was not a secure fit. We tried to reattach the hose but had no success. Then my husband found extra duct tape in a closet and used more tape to secure the hose to the window vent. The hose stayed in place for the duration of our stay and kept the upper level cool and comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality.

Clean and comfortable stay

Everything went smooth from arrival to departure. Everything is comfortable and has all that you need for a stay. My whole group was happy with the stay. Great views and easy drive to all activities in the area.

Relaxing post Christmas getaway

This was the perfect place to stay for a winter getaway to the beautiful U.P. The location is minutes from the grocery and a nice central home base for hiking and sight seeing. The house is huge and can accommodate up to 8 adults. There is ample cooking space and the owners really made us feel at home with the small details and amenities they offered! Definitely worth the booking. We’d love to visit during the busy summer season!

Excellent Home !

Nice large home. Extremely clean! I always take my own cleaning things and didn’t need to clean a thing. Loved TV’s in all bedrooms. Perfect location to see all this area has. Hosts respond very fast. Beautiful view of the water…..:)

Ideal location close to the Straits

We were up for the Mackinac Bridge Antique Tractor crossing and enjoyed it stay so much! Everything that we could have needed was provided and we loved being so close to the Straits. We also really enjoyed watching the freighters going past

Magnificent

Wonderful home. They have all the comforts of home. Even some pet supplies. Centrally located to UP attractions and Mackinac City and attractions. We will recommend and definitely book this for our next visit. Owner was easy to contact and responded quickly.

Well-equipped and clean

Nice 4-bedroom home, close to St. Ignace. This is the best equipped house we have rented. They even have stuff for pets. Furnishings were in good shape and comfortable. We were there during a heat wave. There were air conditioner units that would be more than adequate under normal conditions but were not up to the task during the unusually warm conditions. We called the owner who immediately brought a couple of fans and that helped. Even with the high temps we were able to sit out front and watch the ships travel from Lake Michigan to Lake Huron. Across the road is a great place to view the bridge. Despite the heat, a good experience.

Birthday Vacation

Over all our stay was great. The house was very clean, well stocked for all kinds of needs. The host thought of everything from personal needs to your pet needs and things for the kids to do. When we needed to contact the host they answered back quickly.

Great house!

The house was roomy and comfortable. We had everything we needed for cooking, sleeping and relaxing. Great location. Close to trails, tourist attractions and restaurants. Would definitely come back!

Me and my wife purchased this home because of the view of the lake! Just being 3 miles from Saint Ignace made it the perfect location for a short term rental. We live just 3 miles from the house ourselves and are always available for questions or concerns.

There are no other houses around this one making it peaceful, super easy to find being on US2. You are just close enough to get to Saint Ignace in a few minutes. Being centrally located also makes day trips to Sault Sainte Marie, Paradise, Whitefish Point, Tahquamenon Falls, or Munising just a hour or more.
