Sunset Chalet - 3Bed / 2Bath - Capacidad para hasta 12

Construido en 2005, este chalet de esquí con capacidad está diseñado y equipado específicamente para las vacaciones familiares. Es perfecto para 6-10 personas (1-2 familias) pero puede alojar hasta 13. Muy agradable para pequeños retiros, vacaciones familiares, dobles o grupos juveniles pequeños. Tenemos una familia de seis (cuatro hijos) y, a menudo entretener a otra familia de cuatro personas durante el fin de semana. Funciona perfectamente.

Vienen a quedarse y disfrutar de todo lo que Winter Park y el condado de Grand tienen que ofrecer.

The house overall was great, however we were very excited to use the hot tub and were incredibly disappointed when we opened up the cover to see a lot of mold. (see pictures). The water did not look like it had any chemicals put in to keep the water clean either. I really wish the hot tub was clean and usable but it unfortunately was not.

This home, while dated, was very clean on the inside. The surrounding neighborhood is not great, and the yard could really use some work. While pet friendly, the enclosed yard had weeds that were 3 feet tall. The patio only offered two upright chairs, and a broken rocker, so we could not enjoy the outside. Under the grill was very dirty. The hot tub was very clean and nice, downfall was looking into a very cluttered yard and lots of weeds. Probably a better stay in the winter vs. summertime.

A Most Excellent Stay on Mink Lane in Frazer

What a perfect location and home for our family stay in Frazer, CO for a vacation skiing at Winter Park. A full kitchen, large dining table, open family room, comfortable bedrooms, great hot tub welcomed us to an exceptional visit. We are a family that likes to have big meals at home and then play games and this home provided this. We also enjoyed using the wood stove. We were comfortable with our stay and took advantage of the close by Lift service to Winter Park (the black line is amazing and efficient), the dog park just a walk up the street, and the dog door in the home - how nice! I highly recommend this home as it comfortable and convenient. Close to Safeway and great breweries too.Great location for families or friend groups. We really hope to be back.

Perfect Ski Cabin

We really enjoyed the cabin in Fraser. The location was perfect. The layout extremely convenient. The host was extremely responsive and we worked through a couple of minor issues very easily. We'd love to stay there again.

Loved the Sunset Chalet!

We had an amazing stay at the Sunset Chalet. Everything was as advertised, and Ryan was an excellent host! Beautiful view of the mountains and so close to Winter Park ski resort. We had a fabulous time and will be back! I already sent my friend the information for this place since they are planning a trip to Winter Park as well! Until next time!

Perfect Ski Retreat

The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs. The hot tub made for great relaxation after a day on the slopes. We would stay here again.

Beautiful house and great hosts

This house sleeps a lot of people but still has the coziness of a cabin. It is just like in the pictures. Perfect for groups or for family gathering. The hosts are amazing. Very responsive and easy to work with.

Mountain Weekend

This was a great house to stay for a dad's golf weekend. Pictures and description were accurate. Everything was as stated and we did not have any issues. The house was well equipped and it is one of the first homes I've rented where the hot tub was working at its normal settings. Great experience!!

Great mountain home!

This was our second time staying at the Sunset Chalet - we had previously spent a weekend here in the winter for skiing. It was just as great in the summer! Plenty of space for our group, great views, clean hot tub, fantastic location. Ryan and Tracy were so accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous mountain rental with Peak views!

We spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful property!! The views from this home are nothing short of gorgeous and there is so much to see and do right in walking distance. We saw marmot, bald eagles, deer, and all sorts of other wildlife while enjoying a gentle breeze on the deck of this home. The kitchen was so well outfitted, we wanted for nothing. Owner was very responsive and accommodating...would stay here again without question. Thank you so much!

Family Christmas in January

Our family comes to the Winter Park/Fraser area each January to celebrate late Christmas with our son and daughter-in-law who live in Tabernash and work at the resort. We have rented several different properties in the area over the years and Sunset Chalet ranks highly among my favorites. This is a true family home in every aspect. Due to the size of our expanding family, we cook. Everyone has plenty of room in the open kitchen/living area to help prep while watching the game on tv, and the local Safeway is conveniently down the hill. The view from the main living area is breathtaking and there is now a grill on the patio area (not pictured). The garage easily houses two vehicles with room for two more outside. There are ample bed arrangements for each type of group. We always bring the family fur babies, and I was delighted to find a "doggie door" conveniently located in the kitchen, leading to an enclosed area for the dogs to do their duties and roam without fear of wandering off. The only drawback is the stairs, but this has been a given in every property we have rented. Sunset Chalet is conveniently located between Winter Park Resort and Tabernash for those who love mountain sports, fly fishing, you name it. We all loved this home and will definitely consider renting again in the future.

After staying in the Winter Park/Fraser area many times, renting condos and houses, we decided we wanted a place of our own that would fit our family of 6 along with another small family.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We love the location in Fraser above the Safeway and on the bus route. This location allows us to catch the bus to the ski area just one block up the street. We built the house to match what we consider to be a traditional ski chalet, with high vaulted wood ceilings, wood burning stove, great room, three bedrooms (one with bunks), and a small deck out back with a hot tub.

Private hot tub, ski bus picks up one block up the street on the corner. Great for two families to spend a ski weekend together.
