This is an absolutely exquisite property that you must experience. The online pictures are lovely but can’t completely capture the wonderful ambience of the house and grounds.LOCATION: perched above the area at the end of a cul-de-sac with a beautiful view of the San Juan area from a large, inviting, and private rear patio. Easy to get to so many points of interest beyond San Juan such as Dana Point, San Clemente, and Laguna Beach.HOUSE: very Mission-inspired with a courtyard or gallery-style walkway adjacent to and visible from every room. Cathedral ceiling in the living room and skylights throughout the house. Furnishings very tasteful and extremely comfortable. Extensive library in various rooms. The kitchen was completely stocked with tableware and every cooking implement or device you could possibly need.We felt at home from the moment we walked in.GROUNDS: beautiful landscaping with fountains and bird feeders that attracted a lovely clientele. Very gracious and quiet.HOSTS: Rick and Rose Miller made sure both our check-in and check-out went smoothly. We had the good fortune to meet Rick and talk to him on a few occasions. He’s clearly a very interesting, kind, and caring person.Our two-month stay was outstanding and I urge people looking for a stellar opportunity not to miss this one!!

Lovely home close to beaches

We enjoyed our stay in San Juan Capistrano. The home is close to everything and the neighborhood is friendly. Rick was an excellent host.

Nice property and ttentive Hosts

Rick was very attentive to our needs without being intrusive. This is an older property which has been very nicely updated with modern bathrooms and kitchen. There is a lovely patio with built in natural gas BBQ and a nice view on the back of the property. Rick and Rose have an extensive book and art collection which is very interesting to peruse. Although we were able to make it work with a 1 year old visiting, there is no baby equipment onsite. I would highly recommend this unit for couples and families with older children and teens, but feel it is not ideal for young children and babies. We enjoyed our extended vacation, Thank, despite being there during the atmospheric rivers that bombarded California this winter! Thanks Rick and Rose for sharing your lovely home.

My wife and I stayed here for a month as we were moving in between houses. Place and neighborhood were great and Rick was super nice, responsive and flexible. Was the perfect spot for us for a few weeks and made what could have been a stressful time a real pleasure

Great place!

This place is centrally located, close to all the local shops, restaurants, historical sights, even a petting zoo! It’s light and airy, very clean, comfortable beds and includes all you need in the kitchen! We loved it and will be back for sure!

Beautiful home with all the amenities

CasaBella is a beautiful home with spacious rooms, a great kitchen, and a cozy patio with a top of the line gas grill. Tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and great hosts who responded to every request quickly.

Perfect getaway!

Loved this property - and the hosts! Can’t beat the location to town and local beaches. Also, the house is an end unit in a lovely complex and it was beautiful in the morning and evening time to sit outside and sip coffee or eat dinner. We will be back!

San Juan Capistrano with family

House and location were great for driving to all the beautiful beach and town sites. Lovely quiet neighborhood. There is an abundance of great cookware First time for us traveling with a pet so we were happy to find this house. The pool would be nice in non COVID times. Really enjoyed the patios with the fountains and bird feeder. My only suggestion is that there is a lot of decorations around that would have been a problem with small children

It's a gem

Very happy to find this place which perfectly met our needs. It landed us in a very beautiful and calmer spot of Orange County, while not giving up easy access to everything. The community beach is only 2.5 miles by bike or running. And the southern Orange County location opened up other possibilities like Carlsbad/San Diego. The house was beautifully laid out with all we needed and then some, providing respite and fun right at home. Mornings on the patio reading a book with the dogs and evenings grilling made for great memories. The community pool was a hit with our kids. The owners were very helpful with tips and information. We would love to do it all over again! - Brad & Crystal

Great Experiance

We came to OC for our sons wedding and were looking for a "home away from home" that will meet our family needs. This house gave us exactly what we were looking for. Its spacious and comfortable.

Comfortable and convenient

I met my sons and one of their wives for a long-overdue vacation. It was a little farther south than where we normally stay but that turned out to be a good thing! San Juan Capistrano is a bit quieter than the Newport area, with plenty of shops, restaurants and uncrowded beaches. On the days we did want to go to Anaheim and Newport it was extremely easy to hop on the highway. We felt like we got there in no time. It's also fun to hop on the Pacific Coast Highway and make your way through all the towns along the coast. This home is absolutely lovely! It's at the end of a quiet street in a well-kept neighborhood. The house had everything we needed, including a coffee maker, hair dryers, towels & chairs for the beach. There are two grocery stores within 5 minutes and the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure for hanging out and cooking together. Three bedrooms allowed us each to have privacy. We spent many hours in the comfortable living room catching up and planning our days. The hosts were very accessible by text, answering every question right away. I absolutely recommend this place to a family looking for peace & quiet, and also convenience to many of the attractions that draw us all to California. Thank you, RnR, for the wonderful stay!

Amazing place to stay in San Juan Capistrano

We had a fantastic time at the townhouse. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and well stocked with spices, etc. The patio, with a great grill, was delightful. The beds were very comfortable. The open doors and windows allowed for a great breeze all the time. The bathrooms/showers were first rate. The area is very safe, private and quiet. Although we didn't use the community pool, we did walk by it several times. It was very clean and welcoming. It was just like home away from home! The hosts/owners were very accommodating. The write-up they did on house rules and use was very easy to understand and answered most questions we had. When we did have a question, they responded very quickly. We couldn't have asked for anything more from our hosts/owners! The next time we are in the area, we would want the very same place!

Lovely home in San Juan

This is our second time staying here and, as always, the only thing nicer than the house are the owners, Rick and Rose. Great place to stay if you are going to the beach, riding your bike or just enjoying CA. We stay here for the month and are always happy with the accommodations and the near by movie theaters and restaurants - this year we added bike riding to surfing on our days off and had a delightful time. Parking is limited, so large vehicles will park on the street, but it is a private and quiet neighborhood, so this wasn't an issue for us. Would stay here again.

A nice neighborhood close to beach and marina.

There were several maintenance issues that arose during 3-month stay, but the owners were very pleasant and responded promptly. Overall, a very comfortable place.

Hot NO-AC

no air conditioner or ceiling fans in all the rooms. Very hot and unable to sleep when inside the house temperatures were 86 weather during the night. Do not recommend during hot season no fans were provided in home had to purchase 5 fans to circulate air. Owner also didn't refund entire deposit because we had one extra guest visit us... However when booking there is not a charge per guest its all inclusive. Serious ant problems....needs a professional ant treatment. Had to spray for ants 3x during stay and find ant repellent so my child wasn't stung. Ants invade kitchen are uncontrollable.

Fantastic place to stay

My wife, 2 dogs and I stayed at Casa Bella for 1 week and we loved it. It's a corner unit, so it's very private. Several patio areas. Nice view. Impeccably remodeled. Would definitely return.

Lovely home

This condo is such a lovely place to stay. Wonderful accomodations; furnishiings; well equipped kitchen and perfect for long periods of time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are returning the following year. It makes you feel like you are in your own home.

Beautiful and Cozy Place

Absolutely loved this house! Very cozy and the house was beautiful. The herb garden was such a nice touch to the place and the decor was lovely. Definitely recommend this home to anyone that wants a bit of privacy mixed with luxury. Owners were great to talk with as well. Thanks again Rick and Rose!
