Ubicado en el corazón de la parte inferior de Adirondack. A solo 1. 5 horas al sur de Montreal. Este Lake House de seis (6) habitaciones y tres (3) baños está ubicado a orillas de la hermosa bahía de Willsboro (Lake Champlain), a solo 30 minutos al sur de Plattsburgh. Esquí, tubo, trineo, caminata y patinaje en invierno y golf, natación, bote, pesca y caminata en verano. Ya sea que le guste comprar, cenar o simplemente relajarse y divertirse, ¡esta casa del lago está en el medio de todo!

El acceso inalámbrico a Internet de alta velocidad (Wi-Fi) está en el sitio para mantenerlo conectado.

La cocina está totalmente equipada y cuenta con nevera con máquina de hielo, estufa, microondas y lavavajillas. Hay una agradable sentada en el comedor adyacente a la cocina.

Spectacular vacation

The lake house and setting are beautiful!! The house it well appointed, clean and very tidy…has everything you would need and then some! Peter is quick to communicate and very pleasant!!! Our family ages ranged from 9 months to 63 yo…all had a wonderful time, the sandy beach is a huge plus!!! Thank you for the stay in your beautiful lake house, we did not want to leave!!!!

Amazing View/Great Amenities

My family of twelve (ages ranging from 10-78) spent a wonderful week at this house. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked making packing lighter while the attention to cleanliness and decor made it cozy. There was plenty of seating areas indoors and out. The variety of water vessels and outdoor games available was great and the trampoline was the biggest hit with the kids. Check in was easy and the location was convenient for a lovely ferry ride to Vermont or a day of adventure at Ausable Chasm.

Multi-generational Family Vacation

This was an amazing spot for our extended family of 11, ranging in age from 10 to 80. The house, and exterior decks/patios, was spacious enough so that you could find a place to yourself whenever you wanted. The home is beautiful and the loft area and open kitchen/living/dining was lovely. But without a doubt the lakefront areas were the highlight of the property. The expansive yard and large dock allowed for plenty of space for outdoor activities. Finally, we loved walking the short distance to Indian Bay Marina where the kids got ice cream almost every day, and we had dinner and drinks two nights during our stay. Would highly recommend this property.

A truly delightful stay! Can’t say enough good things about the house, the setting, the owners and the location. We rented the home for one week to hold a special family gathering with our 2 daughters and sons-in-law. From the start, the owners, Peter and Kathryn, offered us early check-in, as soon as the property was made ready once the previous occupants vacated. And, on departure allowed us a later check out so that one of our sons-in-law could attend to an unexpected work-related emergency. During our stay, we reached out to Peter on a couple of needs and he was immediately responsive, kind and understanding.On arrival, the home and surrounding grounds were immaculately clean and ready for us. The home equipment from bedding to cutlery, to pots, pans, dishware, etc. were all high quality and abundant; we lacked for nothing on that count. The interior and exterior spaces of the house were ample and the furniture comfortable and in excellent condition. All six of us had all we could ask for to rest, relax and enjoy each other’s company. The exterior amenities, especially the jacuzzi and fire pit enabled great times together, enjoying the gorgeous views and beautiful, surrounding natural landscapes. And, of course, the lake right in front of us was a main draw. Starting with the expansive view of it from anywhere in the back of the home, the lovely hills on the other shore and the sunsets, we all agreed this was a major asset to add further to our enjoyment!

Wonderful stay with a Few Caveats

Our recent stay at this property was very memorable, primarily due to its stunning views of the lake. Waking up to such a beautiful panorama each morning was a highlight and the backyard provided hours of fun whether sitting on the deck, enjoying the expansive grassy area or using the watercraft that was available for our use. The host was very easy to communicate with and was extremely helpful in providing a thorough and detailed list of local restaurants, sights and activities to enjoy during our stay.However, there were a couple of aspects that impacted our experience. We were not told ahead of time that the home is on a septic system and guests are requested to flush only when absolutely necessary. This was a constant consideration throughout our stay.Additionally, It felt like there was a significant amount of work expected from us upon departure, especially given that a cleaning fee was charged. Here are some of the items that we have never before been expected to do when renting a VRBO::Sweep or vacuum the floors, wash if there were any spillsWash and fold all towels usedStrip beds and put on a new set of bed sheetsThere are two cutlery drawers, put the right cutlery in the right drawerClean any crumbs from pantry, cupboards & drawersOverall, it is a beautiful location and wonderful amenities, but future guests should be aware of the septic system's limitations and the detailed departure cleaning requirements.

Thank you so much for the nice review and very kind words. We know coming from your type of person is a very huge complement. We have been renting our beautiful Lake House for 10 years now. We have had hundreds of guest and all of our reviews are 5 star except for yours and another guest years ago. Your comments about the Septic system notes and departure clean up notes are a bit exaggerated. We have a New Septic system and give simple notes to make sure City people know not to put wipes and feminine products down it like people do in the City. The simple departure cleaning notes are just common courtesy notes that most respectful people do anyways when renting another persons home. They are in place for the few who are not. We are aware that you complained about this before your check in and graciously agreed with your demands not to. We are a bit perplexed as to why you needed to take away one star and exaggerate your comments when we were so accommodating to all your requests as you mentioned. Please note that we as owners also get to review you as a guest to other owners on these rental platforms to see if you’re a desirable guest or not.

View is impressive but home is a work in progress

I must say that the view is quite impressive. It is a nice and quiet setting and there is not a lot of traffic on this street. When you look at the images of this house on Zillow and see what it is today - to say that it there has been a substantial improvement, would be an understatement. Peter was accessible and easy to work with. I have rented homes quite a bit through VRBO and Home Away and am used to paying this amount of money for a weeks stay. The price was not an issue except for the fact that the home lacked some of the fit and finish that you would expect for that kind of money. The upstairs living room area and loft area are renovated and beautiful. The downstairs bedrooms did not have AC and were humid. The upstairs hall bathroom is still original and needs to be updated. I hesitate to say these things because I know that Peter and his wife are continually upgrading and making improvements. I do not normally leave reviews but I would have loved to read the facts about some of these issues. I think others would want to know. Still worth it because of the view? Yes, but I will probably wait for more upgrades before I go back...

Amazing house, view and host

Our whole family loved this house and location. The view from the lake side was absolutely breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to have great weather and enjoyed the train and sea planes from the house pass by. The yard was perfect for yard games such as bocce ball and corn hole etc. the beach is perfect for kids and adults to enjoy the sand and lake. All the kids loved the trampoline and access to the non motorized boats. The deck and patio were perfect for our group and fit everyone comfortably. Rain or shine you always have one to choose from. The inside of the house was beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed for our group. There are a number of activities to do in the area and good restaurants. We hope to go back and enjoy the house and location again. Our family has been renting homes in the Adirondack area close to 10 years now and The owner is one of the best host to deal with. The owner is a very good communicator and generous host. We recommend this property to a happy family who enjoys the outdoors.

Fun and Relaxing Week

We had a great week. The lake is lovely. It was wonderful to go kayaking every day with the boats provided. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and game table. The house had plenty of room and beautiful views of the lake. The owner was very responsive to us.

Beautiful property

We had a family group of 8 people and this home was perfect for us. The home was well appointed and had everything you could possibly need. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful beach and wonderful sunsets. My granddaughters played in the sandy beach every day and the hot tub was a fun experience for all of us. In this time of COVID this was the perfect, restful retreat. Peter was a very responsive owner and answered any questions we had promptly. This was a great vacation.

This property is amazing! With the lake, beach, boats, grassy area, deck, covered patio and hottub all bases were covered for having a good time!! Inside the house there is enough space for people to do their own thing or gather together. Peter, the owner, was very responsive and easy to get a hold of if needed. I would highly recommend this property!!

Exceptional Property for Family Vacation

This property met and exceeded everything we could have needed for our week stay! It was pristine and very well-equipped both in the house and outside. The water equipment, including kayaks, a canoe, a rowboat, a paddle board, and a pedal boat provided hours of fun! In addition, the trampoline was a great draw for kids and adults alike! Peter, the owner, was available and helpful in every way. One of the best suggestions he made was to have people who use the water trampoline wear life jackets - not because of swimming ability but because that activity takes a lot of energy. It was great advice which we heeded! Though our kids are good swimmers, that advice gave us an added level of safety. The inside of the house was very comfortable, well-stocked, and offered space for all twelve of us. The gathering places outside were inviting for conversation but also provided quiet places to read and relax. The location of this property enabled us to take a day trip to Montreal and an adventure to the Ausable Chasm. Both were fun! In every way, this house was a wonderful place to build family memories!

We really enjoyed our stay- Our group was only four adults and two children so we had more than enough room to spread out- The owners really have all the features worked out- The house had recently been remodeled and it really showed- The kitchen was fantastic...The exterior decks provided numerous places to take in the epic lake views no matter what the weather was- The spa is outside under a deck and has its own sitting area -it really felt like a resort- you can be 20' from your group but feel like your in another private area- The private waterfront sandy beach offered a good selection of water craft that were well maintained and quality- The dock had yet another seating area that we really enjoyed- The highlight was the water trampoline -it seemed that we spent hours on the thing-really unique to have that available to us- We took the Essex ferry to VT one day and I'd highly recommend doing that- Our host Peter communicated very well in all facets of our stay- When you add up all the included features this rental is a bargain...

Perfect place for our extended family vacation!

The house is amazing, beautiful renovations. With two decks, the fire pit and dock we were never without spectacular views of the lake and mountains. The teenagers never left the water and even the grandparents spent some time bouncing on the water trampoline. Drive 6 miles and hike Rattlesnake Mtn for some spectacular views or a short ferry ride and spend a day in Burlington. The house hand every amenity you could ask for: tv, WiFi, coffee, icy, and pop-corn makers. Grills, hot tub, kayaks, peddle boat, canoe, and water trampoline. Peter was great start to finish. Nicest house on the point! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a multi-generational vacation spot!

FAN-TASTIC!!

We were 4 adults and 4 kids aged 5-15. We are experienced vacation home renters, and are delighted to say that Peter and Kathryn have not only thought of everything, they have done everything right. Their terrific home was thoroughly renovated during the 2017-18 off season and is spectacular. I won't repeat the glowing reviews posted by other renters, other than to say their 5-star reviews are fully warranted and with the renovation, the home is even better. Simply put, if you can't have a fabulous vacation here it's on you, not on the property. Comfortable beds, sparkling clean, air conditioning, several watercraft, life jackets, beautiful sturdy dock, sandy beach, clear waters on Willsboro Bay so it is calmer than the main lake, the floating trampoline that the kids were on every day, popcorn maker, sno-cone maker, etc. It's like a theme park vacation home! We all loved it and hope to return. One tiny thing that was not an issue for us, but may be for some prospective renters: the home is served by a septic system and the owners ask that the toilets be flushed only for solids. Only you can decide if this is a concern for your party.

Perfect Lake house on a beautiful lake.

Thank you Peter and Kathryn for opening your home to us. It was great making family memories on Lake Champlain in the perfect house, you thought of everything. The house is very clean with ac on the street level. The lower level had fans. Peter was very helpful and easy to contact not that we needed to call him. We arrived on Monday; which at first I wasn't sure about the Monday to Monday rental but traffic was lighter and you get a full weekend. I did not leave the house until we were leaving the following Monday. Our 2 sons with their families came and some of my in-laws came. The age range was 4 months to 75 years old. The house is great with plenty of room. My two granddaughters age 2 and 3 loved playing in the sand and the lake and sitting in the boats on the shore. The lake is very clean and safe for the kids. My grandson 8 years old loved playing out in the water on the trampoline. My son brought his jetski which he was out on almost all day. The lake is nice that it is not busy with a lot of boats. My son and daughter-in-law with the 4 month old had the master bedroom with their own bathroom. The bunkbed room and the other bedroom on the same level as the master bedroom shared the other bathroom on that floor. Downstairs the two bedrooms shared a huge bathroom with big glass shower and very nice washer and dryer. The shower is so big that I showered up my 2 granddaughters with me in the shower with them.(in my bathing suit). We brought beach towels but really did not have to. There were plenty of towels. The deck off the living room is great but it does get very hot during the day so we eat under the deck that has a very large table to fit everyone and much cooler. We used everything the fire pit, the hot tub, the popcorn machine, the flavored slush maker, loads of sand toys, the paddle boat, the kayaks, game table, games, the trampoline. Each night my grandson loved trying out something else. The only negative thing I would say is the bedroom on the street level has a full size bed not a queen bed.

Perfect Family Vacation

We parked our car on Monday morning and didn't leave until we checked out on Friday! The lake was amazing and the kids were on the trampoline the whole time. We took bike rides up to the point every morning and walked up to the marina for dinner. This house had everything you needed and the owners were easy to communicate with. We will book this house again!

Absolutely Perfect!!

Lovely, comfortable home matched only by the spectacular setting. Great porches with beautiful views, perfect for the early morning cup of coffee and star watching at night. Great sandy beach with fun equipment for all ages. Large yard with fire pit. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of space for everyone. We had gorgeous weather so didn't spend much time indoors but there were two huge flat screen TVs, wifi, lots of games and a game table. The owners haven't missed a thing, and they were a pleasure to deal with. And Lake Champlain is just beautiful. We're already planning our return next year!

Truly Fabulous !!

There are so many wonderful things to say about this house, the property, and the location that it is nearly impossible to do so in a few short sentences. The owners have created something very special. Most notably, the house was extremely clean and well maintained, catering to convenience & comfort, it included all of the amenities (& more) that a family or group of vacationers could possibly need (hot tub, fire pit, private sandy beach, boats & kayak, water trampoline, plentiful & comfortable seating & tables, grill, ample bedding & baths, TV & games etc...). Everything from the interior layout to the bright and cheerful furnishings to the accessibility of the lake and the various property features, this rental is very conducive to a relaxing or adventurous vacation (or both). Also, the proximity to the magnificent mountains, lakes and other features of the Adirondack region make it ideal. Most of all, the view across the lake was simply spectacular. We found it difficult to leave and look forward to returning again next summer.

Great House, Great location

This house fit the needs of our family perfectly. Two porches, a hot tub, a grill, two bathrooms, 3 boats, a paddle boat and a trampoline float. There is a restaurant within walking distance and a store a couple miles into town. The views are spectacular and the setting serene. Clean and comfortable with games, a fire pit with wood and it really was a great place. Highly recommended

Just relax!

Our stay was one of the best times my family has had in a very long time. The cottage is so clean and comfortable. We were right at home as soon as we walked in the door. The views from the house are spectacular overlooking something lake Champlain. The kids had the time of their life. We will definitely be returning time after time. A beautiful place anyone would enjoy!

We love Willsboro Bay. We both grew up vacationing on the shores of Lake Champlain in the summers. We love the feel of this quaint little Lakefront town and is truly the perfect vacation spot for families. Vacationing in Willsboro Bay has a very distinct vacation feel. This is truly a beautiful property and the location is priceless !!
