The New Year's Eve get-away!

Very pretty and very spacious! For 4 couples, it was perfect for our needs. 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, nice big living room for football watching, separate kitchen area for game playing.

Great house

We had a fabulous time! This house is in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to downtown. We enjoyed the holiday lights on the Riverwalk and excursions into the Hill Country. The house is comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed the patios! Thank you for your excellent hospitality!

Beautiful

Dear Lise, Your home is lovely and beautifully decorated. We all enjoyed the house and all the extras. The location was also great since it was close to most everything we did. I think our only issues were that we couldn't park our vehicle in the garage because of the furniture. Also, the bedroom off the living room did not have closet access. However, we all enjoyed it. Met our needs perfectly!

We really enjoyed our stay in San Antonio!! Six women shared the home and it was awesome that everyone had a bed and that there were 4 bathrooms!! Location was perfect as our friend and the airport were very close by. Thanks you Lise, it was nice to get to meet you!

Nice

This unit is wonderfully located. It is spacious and well appointed. Maintenance could use some attention. Broken coffee maker with moldy coffee in it, (there are 2 others so no real problem. But off putting). Light bulbs needed replaced. Dirty dishes in cupboard. Our family enjoyed the living room for relaxing. The bathrooms with each bedroom are a great feature! All in all a good visit.

Elegant town home with a big home feel. Beautiful courtyards- great for dining and relaxing.

Family and friends x 7 - here for daughter's graduation from Trinity in San Antonio. Perfect accomodation! Plenty of space to escape on your own /enjoy privacy, luxury bedding, beautifully decorated, private bath for each room. Beds very comfortable. Livingroom is just lovely and very spacious with tall ceiling. Every guest said they would love to return! Plenty of parking. Close to airport for shuttling friends/family. Nice neighborhood. Easy 15-20 min drive to downtown San Antonio. Quarry and the Pearl also close. Enjoyed wonderful hike/bike trail with daughters- just a few blocks from house. Home and kitchen well stocked. Lise did not miss a thing!

Great vacation home. Easy access to San Antonio fun.

We had a great stay in San Antonio. The house was exactly what our family needed. It was very spacious and well maintained. The furnishings were great and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Lise was great to work with and very responsive.

Spacious and well appointed.

Had a group of four couples stay here for an extended weekend getaway. The home is well layed out and everyone enjoyed their stay. Lise was very personable and helpful in all of our communications with her. Reasonably priced for a property this nice.

Golfing in San Antonio

We had a group of 4 golfers looking to enjoy what San Antonio had to offer. Not only was the golf great ( played both the TPC San Antonio courses ), the location of this house fit the purpose perfectly to commute to the courses as well as restaurants. Great house, great location!

Great place for a reunion!

We stayed at the Villa for a New Year’s reunion, with five adults and a toddler. The two king-sized beds were really high, which made us a little worried about the toddler who slept in one of the king-sized beds (especially during naps). There is plenty of room in at least two of the rooms for a portable crib, if you were needing to bring one. The tables inside the home had tops made of glass, but our two-year-old seemed to do OK with them (but remained under many a watchful eye). Kitchen is well-equipped, beds very comfortable, and Lise was very accessible for any concerns. Very spacious house, but still felt very cozy. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Lise!

My Family and I spent a beautiful time at this Villa Townhome we really enjoyed our staying.

The Villa is decorated with warm texan details that make enjoyable, my wife loves places with a lot of light and this place is very luminous and my daugther likes the several green spots that exist within the house. this combination of light, nice decoration, plants and privacy gives the perfect atmosphere to have a delightful staying. On the other hand its location is perfect for our purposes and home services perform perfectly. We will comeback again in the near future.

Great girls weekend in this beautiful home!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home! Very spacious, clean and welcoming. We had a group of cousins, sisters and nieces together for a weekend and everyone raved about the decor, comfy beds and premium bedding. It’s conveniently located to 410, 281 and 35 interchanges. It’s about 10 minutes from downtown/Pearl. We had everything we could have possibly needed in the kitchen to cook a meal or prepare snacks. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and very easy to work with. You will really experience San Antonio style with the decor, furniture etc. Everything was top notch quality. Highly recommended for your stay in SA and I hope to return someday!

Fabulous place

Look no farther. This wonderful townhome far exceeded my expectations. Lise, the owner, has thought of everything!! Anything you need, it is there. Location is great, not too far to see all San Antonio has to offer. You truly feel like you are staying in a luxury home. The décor is beautiful, the beds are out of this world comfortable, sofa's are comfortable as well. It is a great place to entertain. We enjoyed the courtyards when friends came to visit, and overall, this is truly one of a kind. We will always stay here anytime we are in San Antonio. Thank you for the wonderful stay, and allowing us to share your beautiful home.

Spacious, Comfortable, Convenient. We'll be back!

We rented this home for a family gathering to make it easier for everyone to have a place to congregate since there would be people from out of town along with locals, but nowhere else with enough room to all be together. The home is very conveniently located for the airport, downtown, easy access to all major highways, shopping, etc. it is decorated in great "San Antonio" style with ample amounts of comfortable seating and beds. The kitchen has an excellent supply of plates, silverware and glasses; new refrigerator, washer & dryer and all the appliances you would want. For our large group it made all the difference in our time together to be able to stay at the house and either cook or have food delivered. (Capo's Pizzeria is only a few minutes/miles away and has a good menu for a large group of people.) There's a lovely courtyard accessible from the center of the house that makes it feel even more open and spacious. The neighborhood is very nice to walk/run in and there's a great nature trail within a quarter mile or so. The rental price is very reasonable for this property and the owner is friendly and professional and will make sure you are set up to have a great stay. We recommend this property and wil absolutely book it again if the occasion arises.

Best choice in town

This house is simply perfect! My family (2 adults and 3 kids) and I moved to San Antonio from Madrid for two months. We were looking for something comfortable in a good area of the city. We found much more than this: an elegant, cozy house, perfectly equipped, and ran by Lise, the owner, a wonderful women that made us feeling at home. She takes real care of the property (everything is in a very good shape) and the guests. The house is excellent, comfortable and it’s completely furnished. You can find everything you may need. All the rooms are spacious and the kitchen is really practicable. On top of this, the house is located in a very nice neighborhood, close to the Salado Creek walkway (ideal for runners and joggers). The airport is 5 minutes driving and downtown is not more than 15 minutes by car. Great supermarkets are available in a short ride. We are pretty demanding when we travel and this time, in Carriage Drive at Lise’s house, we have found a place that not only has met all of our expectations, but much more. Thank you very much Lise and be sure: we will be back in San Antonio, Carriage Drive.

The best of the best

I rented this beautiful home for 3 couples having a reunion. We've done this multiple times using VRBO. This place and the owner are strictly first class all the way. The neighborhood is quiet and close to many restaurants and the airport. It was a 10 to 15 minute drive to the Alamo from here and most of the downtown sights, including the RiverWalk. The owner provided some great insight into some sight and restaurants to visit. We used 3 bedrooms so I can't comment on the fourth, but the three we used had palatial furnishings. All appliances were clean and functioned very well. The Keurig was a plus. Although they also had a brand new Mr. Coffee type, were never used it. I would highly recommend this place. Thanks Lise.

Extraordinary!!!

This house is amazing! We stayed an entire week at this beautiful place which made us feel at home away from home. The house is spacious with many areas to give everyone its space and also cozy areas where to enjoy family time. The house is equipped with everything you might want and/or need and is very well kept. As to the location, the neighborhood is really nice and safe. If you like to walk (or jog) around you'll see beautiful homes. Conveniently located near supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Additionally, you are near downtown San Antonio (about 12 min. by highway or 20 min. using back roads - which is a very nice drive). Also, you have very quick access to several highways which makes it a breeze getting to beautiful nearby towns. Lise, the owner is SUPER nice. She spent half a day giving us tips, places to visit and where to eat. She does it with such good disposition. Thank you for all your time and advise Lise!!! We feel that a good part of our fantastic time in SA was due to our stay in this beautiful house and its amazing owner. Will definitively come back!

FABULOUS

This was our best VRBO experience. The house has everything we needed/wanted. We felt like we were on vacation but still had all the conveniences of home. The house is comfortable, quiet, relaxing, well appointed, tastefully decorated and yet it was close to all of the San Antonio attractions and an easy trip to Lackland Air Force base. The owner is so pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend staying at this house and will stay here any time I am in San Antonio or at any of the owners other properties.

More than I expected

OMG. Tis was by far one of the nicest rentals ive ever rented. I have a very nice home so when im away from home I desire to have nice accomidations. This place was super nice and super clean. The owner was nice and easy to deal with. Im already thinking of another reason to visit. I go to the Schlitterbahn every year for the 4th of July. I normally stay on the grounds there but there new pricing ($30 extra dollars per night per guest plus room rate) is redicilous. Im so glad i found vacationrentals.com. Im even happier that i found This property. Oh yeah the neighborhood is soooooooo quite too.

Thanksgiving Treat

Our son graduated from Lackland over Thanksgiving and this townhouse was PERFECT! Located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood just a few blocks from the loop this home was perfect for our family and our new airman. The pictures didn't do the townhouse justice. It was so much roomier than it looked. Three bathrooms meant no waiting in line to get ready, 2 separate patios to lounge in the great weather, comfy beds, laundry facilites, a garage, full kitchen and everything you need to cook if you want to save the money and eat in which we did several times. My son really missed my cooking so for him that was the jackpot and meant so much. The owners even set out a roaster for us to cook our Thanksgiving turkey. The property is well maintained and the owners provided a weatlth of information on things to do. There were even games for us to play if we didnt feel like going out and books of all varieties scattered throughout the house. This home had wireless and we brought our computers so Jake could his facebook to tell everyone that he made it through basic in one piece! Granted we were about 22 miles from the base, but the route was a straight shot on the loop and took about 25-30 mins even with the holiday traffic. We just made sure we left in plenty of time to make sure our new airman could get back on the base in plenty of time. Regardless of where you stay you definetely do not want to be late taking your loved ones back to base ALWAYS leave earlier than you would normally plan, just in case you have problems. I personally felt the travel time was a small price to pay for the great place we had and I think my whole family would agree. We took a day each to go to different attractions. Seaworld one day, the Alamo and Riverwalk another and movies the day we left. Because of the holiday, we were lucky enough to have 5 days to spend in San Antonio and our son was happy just to lounge around and sleep with any time he had off. The owners were more than accomodating, especially on our last day. Our son earned off base leave for Sunday and Lise let us hang out a little longer past the "check out time" which was great cuz Jake really enjoyed the extra time to just lounge around and catch a little nap. If I'd ever have to do it again, I would certainly go this route over a hotel any day of the week whether I have a graduating recruit or just a getaway. As it was my youngest son wanted to know if we could move in! Thanks for the memories!
