It's ideal for families or groups visiting the theme parks, downtown sights, or just relaxing with plenty of on-site fun. The house is always kept spotless, the king beds are exceptionally comfortable (guests rave about them!), and it's loaded with amenities to make your stay enjoyable.

Family Fun Indoors: Game room with foosball, shuffleboard, ring toss, game table, board games, poker chips and a huge 70" TV.

Outdoor Oasis: Spacious patio featuring a HOT TUB, Weber BBQ grill, dining table for eight, comfy cushioned seating, and yard games including cornhole, bocce ball, spike ball, and giant yard dice.

Luxurious Sleeping: Three king beds that guests consistently praise for their comfort, plus setups for additional guests.

We’ve added a humane bark deterrent device, and nights are typically quiet. Guests who are especially sensitive to daytime noise may want to take this into consideration.)

Nice, roomy, home in quiet neighborhood. Location was great for our planned activities which included both heading to attractions further north as well as the downtown/river walk area. In this home we especially enjoyed the comfy seating in the living room and the big table which we used to play games. The backyard is well equipped for outdoor activities, and the generous sized bedrooms worked perfectly for our group of 6 adults. The host is super responsive, which made our stay very smooth. We also loved the nearby restaurant recommended by our host. We had a great stay!

The host was very welcoming and I loved all the details in their welcome book. The labels and instructions were very thorough and helpful. The games upstairs were a hit for our boys while the jacuzzi and lazy boys in the living room were perfect for the adults. The neighborhood was safe and quiet; in the morning you could hear the birds chirping and at night deers wandering. Loved it! Would definitely stay again!

House was perfect for our entire family of 6 adults and 6 kids. Rooms and ( especially closets) were very spacious. All the grandkids loved the playroom loft and games. All the San Antonio sights were a 20-25 drive. Steve was very helpful when we had a pediatric emergency and needed quick medical care. House is in a quiet neighborhood with a grocery store and other conveniences less than 2 miles away. House was equipped with baby and toddler glasses, dishes, silverware -along with high chair, portacrib , toys and books making it easier to travel without having to bring or rent those items. This rental was the perfect choice for our spring break family trip.

What stood out:Super host. Steve reached out to us before and during our stay to ensure that we had a good visit. He always responded quickly and graciously. Amenities: something for everyone--changing table for infants, toys and table with chairs for children, awesome hot tub for weary adults and recliners for older folks. We didn't have teens but the game room is great if you do.Good location and nice neighborhood.

Steve our host communicated clearly and always responded to our questions. He accommodated visiting family member for day time visits and meals as long as we respected the parking policy. It was wonderful for us because we were all in from different IS states for a family wedding/reunion. The only downside is when the a/c clicks on it’s really loud if sitting at dining table but I’m assuming that can’t be helped it want to keep the house cool, which it was!! Lots of wonderful amenities and loved the long sized beds on 3 of the 4 bedrooms, along with tv’s in rooms too!! Everything Most excellent!!

Amazing Host

The property was as listed and depicted in the pictures provided. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. The communication between the host and I was great, the host kept contact throughout our stay and was very responsive. We would definitely book again if we come to the area once again.

The house was spotless and looked exactly like the photos on the listing. An excellent stay in San Antonio

My family and I had a most wonderful vacation at this house. Steve was most responsive when we needed anything. He quickly responded with information about the area, activities that would enhance our stay, and answered all our questions. The space felt like a home, nicely and warmly decorated, with modern finishes, and several flat screen TVs. Games for children of all ages were provided. The kitchen was a joy in which to store and prepare food. We will visit again.

Great home for a family vacation.

I stay in a lot of Verbo’s and I must say this one delivered what it promised. The layout was great for family and the game room was such a hit with the teens. We were short some paper products and they had them there right away. Communication with the owner was easy. We loved the Jacuzzi in the backyard.

Alamo Farmsteads is a unique pocket of San Antonio that feels peaceful and open, while still being close to the city’s main attractions. The area has a quiet, residential feel, with many acreage properties, mature trees, and frequent wildlife sightings — something guests often comment on.

We were especially drawn to the location for its access to outdoor recreation. The home is just over a mile from the Leon Vista Park trailhead, which connects to San Antonio’s extensive greenway trail system. It’s an ideal spot for walking, biking, or simply enjoying a calm setting at the end of the day.

Our home offers a rare combination of convenience and quiet. Located in northwest San Antonio, it provides easy access to many of the city’s most popular destinations, including Six Flags, SeaWorld, the River Walk, the Alamo, the Medical Center area, and Lackland Air Force Base — all while being tucked into a peaceful residential setting.

The neighborhood itself feels more open and rural than most in the city, surrounded by acreage properties, mature trees, and frequent wildlife sightings. Guests often comment on how calm and relaxing it feels after a full day of sightseeing.

Inside, the home is designed for groups to enjoy time together. The game loft features shuffleboard, foosball, and a game table, while the backyard includes a spacious patio, Weber grill, and a relaxing hot tub. The west-facing patio is a favorite spot for morning coffee or evening sunsets, and the kitchen’s bay window fills the dining area with natural light during the cooler months.

Sleeping arrangements are especially comfortable and flexible, with four large bedrooms including three king beds and a versatile additional bedroom with a queen bed and trundle (two singles). We also provide thoughtfully selected items for families traveling with babies, toddlers, or younger children.
