Ubicación:

Esta cabaña se encuentra a un lado del hermoso arroyo de la ciudad de combate mientras se encuentra en la cima de la montaña. Es raro tener una cabina frente al agua con una "vista". Esta propiedad cuenta con estacionamiento para 3 vehículos y se encuentra a solo 15 minutos en automóvil del centro de Blue Ridge. We had another great time at this cabin. It’s always such a peaceful place to stay. The beautiful backdrop makes it hard to go inside. We spent a lot of time enjoying the cabin and the grounds. We have stayed at this cabin in the past. This was our first time going through this rental company. Each person I talked to was very helpful and accommodating.

Perfect Fall Weekend

The cabin was everything we needed! Beautiful Mountain View and the little road up to the house provided an amazing fall scene. Beds were super comfortable and back porch was perfect for relaxing afternoons and dinner outside every night. We could hear the small creek below but the visibility was limited. We saw a group of wild turkeys settling in for the evening one night as well as a couple of deer. Great reset for the soul! We will be back!

Wonderful mountain getaway

We stayed here with our kids (2 and 4), and it was wonderful for our family. The house is spacious and overall clean. The location of the house is perfect. It’s easy to get to, close to downtown Blue Ridge, but also secluded enough to be surrounded by nature. We loved spending our mornings on the balcony, because the view was amazing! The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean and well kept. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and the inside of the house was very clean. The screened in porch could benefit from a little extra cleaning, but it was nothing that deterred us from spending time out there. If you’re looking for a great house to enjoy the balance of being in nature and close to small town Blue Ridge, book it!

We loved the place.

We loved the place. It was very nice. There were just a few maintenance issues needing attention. Recommend soap dishes/bowls in the bathrooms. The sink counters are wooden and we used the soap wrappers (and ultimately a kitchen bowl) to try not to moisten/damage the countertops (water damage already visible in places in all three bathrooms). We emailed some additional photos if issues you may want to address as well (scratches on den wall, floor from chair legs, carpenter bee trap is full of dead insects, lower screen detached near the screen door on main porch. May want to shift the angle of the main bedroom highest blind so that no sun will come in for non-early risers too. LOVED the basement and the nice pool table. Loved the place overall and would definitely go back. Many thanks! :) Very friendly and professional.

Cottage in the woods is a huge cabin with all the bells and whistles we needed for our week stay between Christmas and New Year's day. We loved the proximity to downtown Blue Ridge/Mercier Orchards and Aska Trails. The nearby Walmart & Home Depot (all under 10 mins from Cabin) allowed us to cook and eat in all week. We had everything we needed to make every meal for seven of us. We enjoyed the woodburning fireplace and outdoor firepit. TVs and cable gave us tons of options for entertainment, and hot tub soaks were the best after a long hike. The hot tub is a huge 6 person tub. There's also a huge screened in porch with beautiful lighting that we loved. We all want to pool together and buy this place. Donna is a GEM. We want to adopt her! A real sweetheart. John was very kind and helpful when the keypad went wacko. WCC is a professional trustworthy company and I will definitely rent again. We were very well taken care of.

Beautiful Get A Way

The property was everything it said it was in the advertisement. My party and I arrived at nite and was unfamiliar with the roads. My only suggestion is that there are more solar lights leading to the cabin. Other than that, the staff and everyone were professional and friendly!

However, the one that did have the sticker had a gross yellowish film/scuz on the seat that needed to be wiped away (no idea what it was). - Also, we kept running into hornets in the cabin. Not sure where they are coming from but there's enough around to assume there is a nest nearby.

Overall we loved the cabin - it was super well stocked with everything you would need for cooking, etc. It was a beautiful view and such a great time. The reason for 3 stars is that during our stay, the power went out. This was not the fault of the owner and I totally understand that. They had supplied small flashlights but they didn’t do very much and there were no extra batteries to replace them when they died. The communicated well at the beginning of the power outage but didn’t really throughout the rest of the stay. We had this for 2 nights and only had power the first 12 hours of the stay. We made the most of it and enjoyed the games they had. Would like to try it again with power
