Perfect waterfront retreat!

I can’t say enough good things about this property! Owners live above and were super helpful with check in. Home was immaculate and had towels, beach toys like kayaks and bikes, a stocked kitchen, fire pit outside, located on a semi private beach area! Quick walk to Newport Beach and close to all the shopping and restaurants! We loved it! Highly recommend!

A Wonderful House on the Bay

We loved staying at this beautiful property right on the bay. We have been renting vacation rentals in this area for the past 30+ years, and this house was definitely one of the very best. It was very well stocked with essentials including paper goods/plates which we have never had at any other house. The beds were super comfortable. The bedrooms had either fans or AC units which we have found necessary as the climate warms. The house had an abundance of beach towels, chairs, and toys. Everything was in walking distance. The beach is just a few minutes walk away, but we found it most relaxing to sit on the beach at the bay and watch the boats go by. We can’t wait to return again. Thank you for a wonderful time!!

Beautiful memories made!

Our family had the most amazing and relaxing vacation staying at this wonderful property. The property owners were so attentive and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor space was my favorite as it allowed us all to sit outside comfortably and enjoy the beautiful and relaxing views!

Tried something new

We are frequent renters on the Peninsula but this was out first time staying on the bay side. We loved our choice as well as this spacious sunny home with everything we could possibly need. We spent as much time, if not more on the beautiful patio wit the grill, table and fire pit as we did indoors and made good use of the perfect kyacking opportunities. Both the owner and the management person were friendly, gracious, and responsive. One of our best vacaitons to date!

Fabulous home- wonderful hosts!

This property was everything we hoped for and more. Ample space for our party of 8, (ages 9 to 72), lots of towels, dishes, etc. Everything was clean and tidy. The way this unit was set up made it easy for grandpa and grandma to have their own space with a door to escape the kids. And the outdoor shower meant the kids could rinse off before coming in. Everything was so well-thought-of. But the highlight was the patio overlooking a small beach and the bay. We spent most of the week in or near the water or on that amazing patio. Perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, or swimming. The distance around Bay Island was a perfect paddle. Vivian the property manager was outstanding. Welcoming and delightful, there was a slight tech glitch early on and she was in constant communication and worked to fix it immediately. This was probably the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. We are already talking about when we’ll be back.

Wonderful location and comfortable stay

The location is very convenient to restaurants, coffee shops and the boat docks, and the view is wonderful. We were very comfortable in the VRBO - there were more than enough beds and plenty of room and kitchen supplies. We would love to come back!

Charming Property with Amazing View

We had such a wonderful week at this lovely beach home! We enjoyed all the area has to offer, from paddle boarding, kayaking, boat tours, walks, beach/bay time, to great dinners sitting around the outside patio table with fantastic view with our dear friends and family. The property manager, Vivian, was amazing to work with and thinks of everything a renter would want/need while on vacation. The location is perfect and the house is equipped with everything we needed and then some! I’m still dreaming of the amazing bay view right there in front of the house, sipping my morning coffee and watching the sailboats cruise on by. What a treasure! We can’t wait to return!

Terrific Location & Parking Available

We had a lovely stay at this home right on the Bay w/ the Balboa Fun Zone & Balboa Island Ferry a short walk away. We enjoyed the home’s 2 kayaks, & it’s 2 beach bikes & we easily rented another bike. Access to several miles of the Balboa Peninsula beach & protected walkway is only a few blocks away from this home. The home was very well equipped & has a vintage charm. The owners & property manager were also super helpful.

Wonderful experience!

My family just returned from enjoying a week long stay at this wonderful home. Upon arriving we were greeted by a wonderful woman Vivian, who showed us all of the wonderful amenities of the home. I was so happy to find that the house was so clean and well stocked with everything we would need for our stay. We were thrilled that a nice beach area is literally a few steps outside the door. The home is well equipped with nice beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, two bicycles and even two kayaks to paddle around the bay in. If you have younger children, I would recommend bringing life jackets for them so they can enjoy the kayaks. We absolutely loved the location of this home. It is a few minutes walk from the Fun Zone, restaurants, markets and the ocean side of the peninsula. We spent a lot of time riding bicycles on the boardwalk and watching the waves come in. It was wonderful to not need a car to get around since there are so many great places to visit within walking distance. Both the home and the yard are clean and very well maintained. Overall, we were very impressed with this home and we are already planning on a return trip. I had never rented a home before, but I am so pleased with the experience that I had. Thank you to Evelyn and Vivian, who made it all possible! You were wonderful to work with!

Best Ever

This lovely beach house is everything it's represented to be. Professionally decorated - all modern appliances and everything you need is there for a care free vacation. It's within walking distance to so many activities with the beach and bay at your doorstep and the ocean across the street. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, linens, beach toys, umbrellas, bikes, and even two very fun kayaks. Back-up supplies of toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, plastic bags, foil, saran wrap, paper plates, utensils etc. were all there along with soaps and shampoo. The kitchen is so well stocked with bowls, glasses, pots and pans and sharp kitchen knives! The patio has a great BBQ grill and dining area. At night we enjoyed sitting on the front porch around the gas fire ring roasting marshmallows and watching the sunset. I'm already making plans for next summer!
