Hermosa casa de troncos de tres niveles situada en varios acres privados con su propio lago no motorizado. Cocina bien equipada, acogedora sala de estar, área de loft ideal para niños, lavandería, 3 dormitorios (King, Queen, 2 camas individuales y futón), 2 baños completos, bar grande y área de reunión con patio de retirada, ideal para asar a la parrilla. Amplio porche con muchos asientos. Enorme césped bien cuidado ofrece hermosas vistas del agua y las colinas circundantes. Si te gusta la privacidad este es el lugar para ti. Best properties so amazing, and Maureen the host is so easy to communicate with and if there is an issue, which is very seldom, she is there to fix it immediately. This has been our forth stay on this property, and we will come back for many years to come. There is something to do for everyone without even having to leave the property. Everything is spotless when you walk in the beds are very comfy, the kitchen is very well stocked, and the whole atmosphere makes you wish you could stay forever.

Our 2nd family vacation at Ray’s Rustic Retreat was enjoyable once again!So many activities available to do rain or shine. The camp was immaculate as always. This was our 3rd year at Rays Rustic Retreat. We so enjoy the area, it is quiet, we watched the deer, walked and played games on the beautiful porch. The whole camp is immaculate andJim and Maureen are always willing to help.if needed. A great place to stay.

Our family has been coming to Ray’s for over a decade and it never disappoints, it just keeps getting better! Maureen & Jim make improvements every year to make certain their guests have a fantastic experience at the cabin. The home is extremely clean, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped & this year they have added an awesome outdoor kitchen! The property is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. There are numerous outdoor and indoor games and activities to keep you busy, or comfy outdoor and indoor furniture if you just want to relax and take in the quiet, peaceful setting! Ray’s Rustic Retreat is truly a little piece of Paradise!

This is our third visit here and I can say with certainty that the amazing hospitality is consistent. This makes such a huge difference for the overall experience! Maureen thinks of everything to ensure we are having an enjoyable time. My family and I look forward to coming here every year to visit family, enjoy the beautiful views, play Bad Mitton, sit by the fire, go out on the pedal boat, curl up with a good book and just celebrate God's blessings. The new outdoor cooking area is fantastic and this year we watched a small family of deer wandering around in the distance, just adding to the wonderful time we had. We highly recommend and can't wait until next year!

Early Mother's Day

My husband and I and our 2 grown sons and their wives spent a long weekend here and even though the weather wasn't the best our visit together was great. We all had enough space and did get to do some of the outside things. The place is so comfortable and clean and had all of the cooking stuff we needed for the 6 of us to be together or doing our own things.

Winter Getaway

We were a family of 7 traveling with a baby. Maureen and Jim provided us with great accommodations!Their place had everything we needed to relax with family. The kitchen is well equipped to make meals and there is also an extensive binder with great information about restaurants and attractions nearby. The house was immaculate, cozy and comfortable. Thank you Maureen and Jim! We would love to rent from you again.

Girl trip 2024

7 girlfriends returned for a laughter filled weekend. This is our time to get away from all the craziness of life and to do nothing but enjoy each other’s company & laugh. We love Rays retreat & as always it was spotless & just what we needed!

Amazing Property

From the moment that we pull up the driveway , we know we are home!!! The property and cabin are immaculately kept. Maureen is such a great host. If there is ever problem, she is very quick to answer and have the problem fixed. This was our third time staying on the property. We stay for a month at a time and it is never long enough.. I recommend this property highly

Five plus

We love coming here every year and it just feels like coming home. But each time we visit there's a different experience - like baby geese one time, beautiful sunsets another, this year the lunar eclipse which we could see clearly from the porch. It's a great place to call our second home.

Fabulous Getaway

This was my 4th or 5th stay at Ray's Rustic Retreat and it is a great property. The property is gorgeous! It is very quiet, clean and spacious. The property owner is great and is very accommodating. Perfect for a family getaway or a girls weekend!

Secluded Piece of Paradise

This house is exactly what we were looking for. Somewhere we could enjoy the wilderness, have coffee on the deck overlooking the land/pond and get away. The driveway was a bit funny the first time getting to the house, but we were given great instructions prior to arriving that helped tremendously. The communication with the owners was quick and they were willing to help no matter the issue (not that there were any). Overall if you are looking for a beautiful house with amazing views that had plenty to do, but also only 25 minutes from Turning Stone area, this is for you.

We are four long time friends that found this Retreat through my daughter-in-law. This is our 2nd and we live it. Everything you could need is provided. We kayak, eat lots, play games on the wrap around porch, but there is so much more to do. You really need to stay here and see for yourself. here.

Vacation Paradise

We have been staying at Ray’s Rustic Retreat for several years and can’t say enough good things about this home! The minute you drive through the gates and see this stunning property you realize you are somewhere very special. The cabin is extremely clean, beautifully decorated and lacking nothing for an enjoyable stay. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, something you don’t always find in a rental! The property is very well maintained and beautifully landscaped. You can just sit on the porch and take in the gorgeous view of the pond and rolling hills beyond or you can enjoy the great fishing, the water toys or the many games and activities provided by the hosts. Speaking of the hosts, Maureen and Jim go above and beyond to make certain you have a wonderful stay at Ray’s. We highly recommend Ray’s Rustic Retreat for a quiet getaway or a fun filled time with family or friends! Margaret & Doug

Another Perfect Experience

We stayed here in the past and the experience was just as perfect as last time. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed all the wildlife viewing, the pedal boat and just sitting on the porch taking it all in. Definitely plan to return here again! Thanks Maureen and Jim for sharing this amazing place.

Commencement Weekend

We stayed at this LOVELY property more than two years ago while visiting our son at school. At that time, the home was absolutely spotless and well-appointed and the property was beautiful. We promptly booked it for our son's commencement weekend two years later. Having now returned to the property two years later, it was just as spotless, beautiful and conveniently located as we remembered! Highly recommend!

This home was my father's vision. He toiled long and hard at clearing the land and having the cabin loving built in just the right spot for the best views. He lived here for many years enjoying his accomplishment. After his passing we decided to share the beauty of his place with others. We hope that you will enjoy your stay at Ray's Retreat.

If you would like to get away from it all, this is the spot for you. Only 2 miles from town but you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle. So private and yet close to everything you might need. You will never tire of the view from the wrap around porch. Country at its best.
