Perfect homebase for exploring the Hamptons

- stylish house with plenty of space and a large garden in a quiet area, well equipped - very helpful and responsive host - we had a perfect stay!

Comfortable and chic

Very thoughtfully curated house with an eye for design. House is bright and airy with a great layout and lovely backyard for the family and the dog. Bay (dog friendly!) is a very short drive or bike ride and ocean beaches are close by. Southampton town center is 15 minutes away and you have the added convenience of Hampton Bays nearby. Only recommendation would be a dresser for some added storage in the rooms. John is a great host and very responsive. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Bright and Sunny Home in The Hamptons

Vert cute MCM home in Shinnecock. This home is very bright and sunny and has a great porch and backyard. We enjoyed our stay. The homeowner is VERY responsive and answers questions quickly. Four of us stayed here and were very comfortable. We appreciated lots of towels and enough beach chairs for all of us. Kitchen is well stocked.

We had a great time. The house was great , well stocked with everything you need. Communication with owner was easy and he responded quickly. The area with all of the beaches was a great place to vacation.

Fantastic Hamptons Family Vacation

Our family had such an amazing time in the Hamptons! The home was tastefully decorated, very clean, well stocked and just so inviting. The Host John gave us a great guide to the Hamptons and he was so easily available for all our needs. The perfect setting for our vacation. It’s location made it so easy to go to all the Hampton’s hot spot!! Overall, all great time! Can’t wait to go back! The Genovese Family

Great Summer Getaway

We stayed at John's house for a week over Labor Day. The house is beautiful and as pictured. We spent a lot of our time enjoying the peaceful back deck and yard. John was a great, responsive host and gave us some very helpful tips, particularly when it came to the beaches and surf spots. We had a wonderful experience!

Great family vacation

I highly recommend John’s house. We had just come back from a 2 week stay at John’s house with our 3 kids and 2 dogs. Everyone had a great time. John’s house was as pictured, no surprises. Clean, well stacked and comfortable. Huge property as well, perfect for the kids and dogs to play. We loved the location as well. Very quiet neighborhood, no loud parties, but close to everything you would need. John was a wonderful host. Very easy to get in touch with, he gave us very valuable tips (free beach parking spots) and recommendations for shops and restaurants. When the landscaper failed to show up to clean up after the hurricane Isaiah, John came out and cleaned all the debris himself. We travel a lot and his has been an effortless vacation, even with 3 kids and 2 dogs. We loved the area, the house and the host. Thank you John!!!

Amazing Stay for the Summer

This is such an amazing house - from the location to the decor, it made for a great destination for a week in the Hamptons. The neighborhood is lovely and the house is right in between Southampton and the Hampton Bays, which gives you a perfect driving distance for all areas of the Hamptons. The beach on the bay is only 2 minutes away, and Cooper’s Beach, which is absolutely gorgeous, is only a 10 minute drive. When you open that front door, it is a step into architectural digest. It was immaculately clean and he thought of everything we needed. My family had the most enjoyable relaxing 8 day stay. The house was stocked with everything , from the spices in the cabinets, extra toiletries and cleaning products in the basement, and a great array of kitchen appliances to cook dinners and lunches. The backyard had sun all day long, which was perfect for tanning, and the backyard property was a great play area for our little pup we brought with us. The outdoor shower was a refreshing cool off after a Long Beach day. The owner was super easy to reach and ready to answer any and all questions we had. We would definitely come and stay here again.

Very nice Southampton rental home

My family had a great time staying here for 2 weeks. The home was immaculate upon our arrival. There is plenty of room to relax inside and on the deck. The location is convenient to beaches and shopping areas in town. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very charming Southampton home. The home was immaculate and very well-maintained. The owner provided valuable information on the home and the surrounding area. He also made a number of accommodations for us which made the trip very special. Being greeted by fresh flowers on the table was a real plus. We look forward to returning to this home.

Great location, clean, great decor, helpful host

We stayed at John's place for 10 days at the end of Aug. it was a perfect vacation spot for a family of 4. The house is within 10 minutes of 4-5 beautiful beaches less than 10 minutes away from Southampton Village, very clean, comfortable with a nice screen room. John was very helpful and gave us lots of suggestions for beaches, wineries and golf courses. Highly recommend the place.

Great setting, cool house and relaxing ambience .. loved it!

This is a very cool summer house offering modern european interior design and a great location. We very much enjoyed this property with our 2 teenagers for a two-week summer vacation in the Hamptons this year. We had a great time and we definitely will be back. John, the owner, made the reservation and the administrative processes very easy and welcoming. The mail/phone response times are examplatory. The check-in/-out process was super easy and well organized. We received an 'instruction manual' for the house well before our stay, and John was available all the way .. we felt in very good hands. We especially enjoyed the layout and the Bauhaus-Design elements making it something special. In combination with the plenty features it became our favorite 'home' in the Hamptons ... not only for the summer!

I was looking for a small and exceptionally clean house for our family of 6 (two girls 11 and 13) when I came upon this little gem. It is aesthetically pleasing and very well maintained. I was attracted to the abundance of light and the simplicity of the decor . It is conveniently located since you need not travel thru all the Hamptons to get there and close enough to town as well as to a major ocean beach. One could also frequent the bay beaches which were very nearby. John was always available for whatever we needed whenever we needed it . In the morning we had coffee on the screened in porch and in the evening a drink on the terrace as we prepared to cook on the grill. We found the view from the terrace into the woods very relaxing and the outdoor shower perfect after our visits to the beach.. The house comes with quality linens and towels for bath and beach. The kitchen was well equipped with brand new all clad cookware. We like the low key restaurants in the immediate area . Our grand daughters loved the old fashioned swing that John hung from the trees and my husband and son loved the hammock. I would have no reservations recommending this house .

Fantastic getaway

We had a wonderful week's stay at this house. John was an excellent host and was available to answer questions and provide recommendations at all times. The house is decorated in a chic modern style with beautiful furniture and artwork and is kept immaculately clean. There are plenty of linens and dishes, convenient appliances and excellent wifi. The location could not be any better. We went into Southampton every evening for dinner and to walk on the beach, just 5 minutes away. It was also quick to get to the North Fork to explore the wineries, which we did easily on two different days. To top it off, there was a snow storm so we went sleigh riding in the large beautiful backyard and came into warm ourselves by the cozy fireplace. It was a perfect trip and we will be back!

Wonderful Stay!

Loved this house. It has a great terrace facing south overlooking a large spacious garden. Enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing. The outdoor shower was a nice bonus. Southampton Village is only a few minutes away. Southampton beaches are amazing and only minutes away. Also close to quiet Shinnecock Bay beach and Peconic bay beach so there are many options. Close drive from NYC. I would definitely recommend this house...spacious, clean and well maintained. Exactly as pictured.

I bought this Southampton property as a weekend house, away from New York City to be close to the beach for surfing, swimming and riding bikes. The house has the advantage of being on the west side of the Hamptons, just an hour and a half away from the city and it avoids the notorious weekend traffic on the 27 highway between Watermill and East Hampton. The house is minutes away from the immaculate Southampton Town beaches (beach deck chairs provided). Southampton Town has terrific lunch or dinner restaurants including St Ambroeus, Le Charlot, Red Bar, Little Red, Tutto Il Giorno and Silvers and some a great shopping. I recommend shopping for groceries at the local organic farm stands in the neighborhood ( The Green Thumb in Watermill is excellent), or Southampton's local organic store Second Nature and Cittarella. The house sits on an acre of land with a large deck with lots of sun great for lounging on the deck chairs and reading and has a large outdoor shower. You can also hop on a bike ( 2 beach cruiser bikes are included) and cruise 1 minute down the hill for a long walk, run or swim in Shinnecock bay. The house is light, with an open kitchen that looks onto the deck and is excellent for entertaining guests for drinks or dinner. The deck has the prerequisite Weber grill.
