La Casa está ubicada en la hermosa y apartada zona conocida como Litibu. A 45 minutos en automóvil al norte del Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Vallarta, Litibu está justo pasando Punta de Mita en Riviera Nayarit ~ la emergente "Costa Dorada" de México.

Casa dos Palmas está enclavada en un bosque en pendiente con una vista excepcional del océano en un enclave de finas casas. La playa de Litibu se encuentra junto al pintoresco pueblo de Higera Blanca. Un viaje de quince minutos más al norte te lleva a Sayulita. Allí, encontrará un creciente destino de surf con diversos restaurantes, tiendas y actividades en la playa.

Al acercarse a Punta de Mita, que se encuentra en el extremo noroeste de Bahía de Banderas, pasa el impresionante puerto deportivo de La Cruz, la playa de Destiladaras, el St. Complejo turístico Regis & Four Seasons. Una vez en la cercana Punta de Mita, tiene una variedad de ofertas. Entre ellos se encuentran la muy popular y diversa "fila de restaurantes", tiendas y, por supuesto, opciones de excursiones por la playa y el océano.

Un kilómetro al norte de Punta de Mita hacia Litibu, pasas el campo de golf Litibu frente al mar totalmente operativo diseñado por Gregg Norman.

Casa dos Palmas en Litibu está diseñada como un "mini-resort" privado que recibe su nombre debido al plano único. La Casa está construida alrededor de dos palmeras de 60 pies que se elevan a través del centro de la propiedad y tiene un atrio en cada nivel para que el sitio de los majestuosos árboles se pueda disfrutar desde cualquier lugar.

Stunning Property & amazing views

From the moment we pulled up we were in love with this place. Stunning home with equally amazing views. Very clean and well cared for. Michael was great with communication and making sure we had all the information we needed before our stay. Josh was super helpful with any questions we had during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Located near the ocean

I knew there was an ocean view but, I didn’t realize we were so close to it. We enjoyed listening to the ocean waves hit the rocks everyday. The house was spacious and two kitchens and 4 patios if you include the pool deck. Josh was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed barbecuing on the patio, and going into Higuera Blanca, Sayulita and Punta Mita to eat. Definitely have a SUV vehicle and listen to the hosts recommendations for ease of staying.

Gorgeous Home, Incredible People

Having stayed at VRBOs all over the world, we had high expectations of this vacation...and we were blown away! The home was plenty big to accommodate and please our mixed group of 11: 2 grandparents, 3 adult daughters, 3 son-in-laws, 3 preschool aged grandchildren. There were alcoves for quiet reading, as well as grand balconies for group time. The pool was a highlight, warm and with gorgeous views of the jungle and ocean. The kids were in it nonstop, and the parents couldn't believe they were able to sip coffee and chat while listening to the ocean and the giddy laughter of their children. Paradise! The two kitchens were well-equipped and had ample bottled water for drinking. Jose, Olivia, Abby, and Cheke were amazing. They ensured the house was fresh and clean, prepared amazing meals, and answered our many questions as gracious hosts. Do not miss Olivia's enchiladas suiza and huevos rancheros, and ask her to bring you one of her sister's flans...incredible! Michael is the most accommodating owner I've ever encountered, clearly invested in this being a perfect trip for us. The house also had little touches that made it all the more comfortable, including fun beach hats, large sun umbrella, extra sunscreen, etc. We felt utterly pampered! In terms of excursions, we far preferred San Pancho/San Francisco to Sayulita. It was more charming and a fraction as crowded. The coffee shop on the way into town was amazing, and we saw baby turtles hatch out of their nests on the beach before being invited by some environmental workers to help with their release! We also did a panga trip out of Los Ayala where we saw humpback whales and then enjoyed a deserted beach a few bays up from Los Ayala...absolutely gorgeous. Finally, do not miss the adventure that is visiting Patzcuarito beach...you walk down a river to a quiet beach with lovely small waves. At the south end of the beach is a double arch to another even more spectacular beach. The kids collected about 200 hermit crabs and are still talking about it (don't worry, they were all released safe and sound before sunset). If you're looking for off-the-beaten-path Mexico with all the comforts of home, don't hesitate to book this amazing property!

Excellent covid getaway

The place is great. My family enjoyed the house very much: it is secluded, clean, has a wonderful pool, incredible terrace with fire pit and top-class cooking facilities. We were lucky enough to catch the end of whales season in the area. Book it now.

Beautiful Secluded House

My wife and I, along with our adult children and spouses, plus our 4-month-old grandchild, absolutely loved Casa Dos Palmas. The views were spectacular, the heated pool could not have been better, and the accommodations exactly what we needed for our family. Litibu' beach was close enough to walk or a brief two-minute drive. The nearby town of Higuera Blanca was a lovely Mexican pueblo, with restaurants, small grocery stores, vegan ice cream store, and just a few minutes' drive to Punta Mita. Michael and his on=site manager Josh, were great to work with and very responsive. The roads in and out were a bit rough, but the house and pool made the drive worth every bump. We have stayed in many places in Mexico, and Casa Dos Palmas is right at the top of our list.

The Casa was amazing. I would recommend a car , nothing is withinwalking distance. But a very short drive. The casa was amazing. Pool, sunsets , view all amazing. We had a private chef come to the casa one night . Chef Renee was amazing. Josh was very accommodatingand attendedto all our needs. Very helpful on beach recommendations. We will be back !

Incredible Experience!!

What a spectacular experience we had here at Casa Dos Palmas!! There is so much to say that was positive about our stay. First, the layout of the house itself, the pool, windows, and everything about the home was beautiful. Second, the cleanliness of the home was beyond what I expected. For how large the home is and how open the stairwell and pool are to the outside, you would think it would be very dusty, but it wasn’t. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. It was honestly better than a 5-star hotel. Third, the check in process was SOOO easy. Jose met us where we expected. Helped take us to the home and walked us through everything. He was also always available via WhatsApp for any questions we had. He also had the fridge and kitchen stocked with food before we got there. I couldn’t have asked for an easier and more hospitable checkin. Finally, Michael was always available to help us before we got there. He connected us with a doctor to come to the house and administer the covid test before our flight back. He provided recommendations for car rental (we went with Gecko and would very highly recommend them!), restaurants, activities, etc. We have been back for a few days and already thinking about when we want to go back again. The entire family absolutely loved every part of the experience. Thank you to Michael, Jose, and Olivia for all you did to make this such a memorable and beautiful experience!! ps - I would HIGHLY recommend a 4x4 SUV as it will make accessibility to the home much easier and also for many roads around the various towns it makes it much easier to get around.

Beautiful Oasis

My family and I had an amazing experience at Casa dos Palmas. It is a huge house with two fully functional kitchens and living areas. The views are incredible - especially from the infinity pool - which was warm and wonderful. I highly recommend this house!

Pleasant home

Great house and place with sea front view. The terrasse at the top floor was our favorite place for nice dinners around the fire pit. The negative point is the distribution of the beds. Technically, the house is suitable for 10 people. You have 2 real bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with 2 queen size beds. The living room/kitchen in the first floor has 2 fold-away beds. There is a sliding door to separate the 2 fold-away beds. To feel fully confortable and get some privacy I would say that the house is more appropriate for 8 people max. It is quite tricky if you are 2 families with kids to find some privacy, comfort and peace to sleep. The house manager and the cleaning team are great people and make you feel very welcomed. The house is clean and gets everything you need. I warmly recommend this house to spend great vacations.

Amazing Casa

The Casa is in a beautiful location and is itself an exceptional property with loads of space and opportunities to enjoy the view. There were 8 people in our party and we all had space to spread out on different levels and decks. Plenty of beds (and bathrooms too!). The views from the pool deck, the main deck and the sky deck were amazing as you watched and listened to the ocean waves roll in. The sky deck was also an excellent spot for watching the sunset or looking for whales. The property is also surrounded by the jungle which added another special element to the surroundings, especially if you enjoy bird watching. The infinity pool is large and took full advantage of the ocean views. On all the decks are umbrellas for those who want shade and pool/beach towels were refreshed every few days. There’s even a pool room right off the pool with bathroom, shower, and mini fridge for drinks. Litibu beach is very nearby and was great for boogie boarding or taking a walk along the beach. The only thing to consider as mentioned in another review is that access to the property is via a dirt road which can be bumpy in spots. It’s about a 10 minute drive (at slow speeds) off the main road. If you enjoy sight seeing or going out to eat regularly, you might consider this a bit of hurdle and choose instead to hang out at the Casa or eat-in. But for those who prefer to just sit and relax by the pool or at the beach, the Casa was perfect. The last thing I’ll mention is that Michael provided us lots of advance information as well as a detailed run down shortly before we arrived. He was excellent to deal with and very accommodating. Jose was also very responsive to any questions or needs we had and very pleasant to interact with. While there, a couple of umbrellas were damaged during a storm and Jose replaced them the next day. His wife Olivia provided the cleaning and she and her crew did a very thorough job. [Note: Consider taking advantage of their service to do some grocery shopping ahead of your arrival so that you have a few things on hand when you arrive. You might want to use them again during the trip to save yourself the grocery shopping trip which about 45 minutes away. Let’s you maximize time at the Casa!] I would happily stay here again for a relaxing vacation in a remote spot with all the niceties of home but with a much better view and weather!

Litibú Getaway

Casa Dos Palmas is a true hidden gem perfect for a family or group of friends. The pool and rooftop decks provide all the space necessary to relax and enjoy the sounds of crashing waves. Michael was extremely helpful in making sure everything was ready to go when we arrived and Jose and his family do a wonderful job of keeping the casa in great shape. Highly recommend staying at Casa Dos Palmas!

Amazing stay in an amazing location!

We had an amazing stay in this wonderful home. The owner and property manager did so much work to help us prepare for this trip we barely had to think about it. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a well maintained/stocked house in a location that is slightly off the beaten path. We look forward to staying here again soon!

Amazing stay!

We loved our stay at Casa Dos Palmas! The house is great, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood away from the busy resort area. We loved being able to relax at the pool, while being able to watch and listen to the ocean. When we wanted to go to the beach, it was only a short walk away, and very laid back. No vendors, and hardly anyone else there. It was almost like we had the whole beach to ourselves as well. It was a great convenience to have Jose shop for us before we got there, saved us a lot of potential time on the way from the airport. At night it was great watching the sunset from the sky bar, and then listening to the ocean waves while we slept. The Litibu Grill down the beach is great as well, great atmosphere! Overall a great stay!

Amazing private & family friendly property!

We really enjoyed staying at this property and would highly recommend it to others. We had 6 adults and two kids in our group. The size and layout worked very well to give each group some privacy but also allowed for big communal meals and the pool, many patios and fireplace made for some great group fun. Jose the property manager was very helpful and Olivia cooked us an amazing traditional Mexican dinner for 8 adults which was delicious and a wonderful experience. The property is cleaned every few days and there are plenty of basic supplies to meet your needs for cooking and personal items. The property seems remote but once you've driven it a couple times you realize it's close to everything you need and it is very safe. We used Gecko and it was a way better experience than other rental car companies we used in the past. Michael was our main contact and he provided great information, suggestions and maps before our stay which made everything work seamlessly. The only small issues were shaky wifi on occasion, a few of the beds are a little firm for some of us and there is no on-site laundry but one very close by for a small fee.

Great Family Home That Has it All

Architecturally unique house, well appointed, great views, beautiful pool. This home is ideal for getting together with families and friends. Super comfortable spaces, privacy if you want it, terrific rooftop deck. Michael and Jose have everything well organized, making it easy to book, arrive, and chill. Everyone in our family loved it.

Amazing ocean views!

We loved our stay at this property. The outside decks are truly fabulous and all of them come with ocean views. You have to choose between the pool deck, the sky deck with a fire pit and hammock or one of the patios off the main living areas. We spent a day at the Litibu beach and took ocean kayaking and scuba diving trips. We also enjoyed restaurant row in Punta de Mita and visited Sayulita, Playa Escondida and did a taco tour in Puerto Vallarta. The casa is a perfect spot to take all these trips from. We rented a car from Gecko and they were extremely professional. Michael is a very responsive owner and left us in the care of Jose and Olivia who are both wonderful. We would love to stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends.

Wonderful house and great people!

We were so happy that we stayed in this fantastic house and not a generic hotel! The property worked very well for a vacation with 3 generations of family. My 80-year old parents stayed in the master bedroom (king bed) on the 2nd level, which is where the primary kitchen/living room is located. Our kids stayed on the first level with us - everyone had plenty of room and privacy. The salt-water pool was amazing and we were either at the pool or a beach each day. The decks were nice and the view picturesque. The owners provided every amenity we could want - even boogie boards! The home was thoughtfully designed, quiet and private; off the beaten path but near other occupied homes. We felt that the area was safe and well patrolled. We even got to see a few coatis rumbling around beneath the trees near the house. We enjoyed taking side trips to Sayulita, Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, & the pristine Punta Negra beach. The best excursion we had was taking a small boat to the Marieta Islands for snorkeling - dolphins came right up to our boat and we were VERY happy with the guide & crew of the boat (associated with the last restaurant on Ave El Anclote "restaurant row"; ~35 USD/pp plus tips for the crew). This was a great place to stay if you want to venture out and experience Mexico. Most of all, we truly appreciated the thoughtfulness, care, and kindness that Jose, Olivia, Cheke, & Michael all showed us! We've stayed at many properties and this was the best experience we've had - thank you!

Fantastic owner and staff. Immaculate property with amazing views. Really does have everything. I think I got a tan while cooking in the kitchen.

Simply an amazing place!

What an amazing place! Casa Dos Palmas is a perfect backdrop for a vacation by the sea. We enjoyed endless sunsets. We also enjoyed watching the whales swim in front of the casa on a daily basis. Jose and Olivia are great caretakers and Olivia is an excellent cook! The pool was perfect for our busy teenagers. We made many trips into Punta Mita to eat and enjoy the little shops. We also went to La Cruz on both Sundays 9-1 for their market. Higuera Blanca was a quaint little town. We bought a few necessities from the many grocery stores. The people in this region are very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Paradise with a beautiful view

This is a beautiful home with everything you could possibly want. Listen to the ocean, lay by the pool and watch the many species of birds. The caretakers are wonderful. If you are looking for the perfect place to relax, you have it here. We Thank Michael for allowing us to share his special place!

Beautiful and spacious casa!

We had a wonderful stay at the casa! The house is beautifully designed, and landscaping and decor are lovely and match the surroundings. The pool was a big hit with our group -- as was the roof deck around sunset. Jose and Olivia took great care of us during our stay. We had Olivia prepare dinner for our group one evening, and it was delicious! We loved that the house was a bit remote -- it was very quiet and peaceful -- and the total opposite of staying in a hotel or condo complex. Unless you're familiar with driving on dirt roads, you'll want to rent an SUV or truck. We would also recommend driving up to Rincon de Guayabitos one day -- it's quite beautiful and a bit less crowded than some of the closer resort towns. Thanks!!
