Easy check in . No AC so be ware if you have breathing issues or asthma in the summer months. Recommend updating the fans that are available and maybe consider cleaning them . Notified property within 10 minutes of arrival of water /wet carpet in master along with musty smell. Almost 24 hours later someone showed up and vacuumed the water and sprayed some chemical. Did not help as clearly there was

Nice Condo but Needs to Clarify No A/C

The listing says "no/limited" a/c and that needs to be changed or supplemented to clarify that there is no air conditioning in the unit at all. The unit management group was difficult to contact and it was difficult to get a response from them. We did not get an answer to emailed questions until after we checked in. We waited to book in hopes of getting answers to our questions, but ended up booking because time was running short and no answers had been received. The condo is nice, well furnished and pleasantly decorated.

Who doesn’t have A/C

We managed to stay one night without air conditioning! I had to spend a lot of extra money to move us to a new rental so we could be comfortable. In today’s day, I wouldn’t expect to have to ensure a summer rental property has a/c. We had a miserable, hot night in which no one slept. The stuffiness caused my friend to have edema in her ankles and she was sick the rest of our trip. I called customer service who could do nothing but offer us more fans. Yes, blowing around hot air makes it better. The place was clean and was roomy enough for us, however, we couldn’t enjoy it. Be aware when reviewing the listing. In the winter months, it is onviously not a big deal. It is located very close to Wisp resort…

Nice condo in deep creek

We homeschooling momma and kids enjoyed our winter break at ski harbor! Would’ve liked a little better directions for tv/cable/dvd and how to get into pool for anxious kids but besides that it was great! Loved seeing fireworks from the wisp

Nice location and convenient

The condo was in a nice location and close to several places to eat and enjoy the lake. Although we were there during the summer months I can see it being a perfect location in the winter. The ad is clear that there is no A/C however there were fans that we placed near the windows to cool off the place and it was comfortable to sleep.

This is a really nice property, the view is ok. Its clean, plenty of room, and very nice. The only drawback is no central air. Other than that its perfect.

I didn't see the fine print of no a/c and our little kids were miserable at bedtime. The fans helped cool it off during the night, but bedtime was the worst time of day. We loved the location and the pool.

Weekend in Ski Harbor #45

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Ski Harbor #45. The property was very clean and comfortable, and centrally located. The apartment had everything we needed for a great stay. Only two minor negatives: 1. Saturday night around 9:30 pm, we could hear the residents in the apartment above us running/stomping around for a while - the only time we heard someone above us. 2. We went out for breakfast on Sunday morning, the day we were due to check out by 12 noon. When we came back to the apartment around 9:45 am, the code no longer worked to unlock the door, and we had to call the office to get a new code. The agent we spoke with helped us, giving us a 9 digit number rather than a 6 digit number, and we were able to get back into the apartment so we could pack up and check out.

Nevertheless the view of the apartment on the parking lot was disappointing and not visible from the ad or pics, i would have not chosen such property otherwise, this gave a motel feel.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice enough and big. Plenty of room. The amenities ( indoor pool, tennis courts) are nice. The main issue was we asked for early check in and instead our place wasn't cleaned and ready until 5 pm. The renters before us had left at 10:03 am! There was no air conditioning. I didn't realize this. As a winter destination condo it kind of makes sense but it was HOT! They gave us a pool key to use and it didn't work. Took them 45 minutes to drop off a new one. We had a hard time finding the condo. Our gps was taking us to another set of condos. I called and the man who answered wasn't very helpful and kind of acted like I was some kind of Ditz for not understanding. Then my husband called and the guy acted like we were crazy for not understanding where it was. When someone has never been to a place don't you think as a person in customer service that you might be more helpful????? The women at the desk were very nice and helpful when I stopped in the office so I think it's more that they aren't communicating. Again, the condo is nice enough and once it was cleaned it looked great but the service wasn't good. I love the area and will go back but will be leary of renting with them again.

The location was great, it was nice to be so close to the water, the place was well stocked, the indoor pool was great. It was very peaceful and relaxing and what we were hoping for. The one big negative was the lack of air conditioning. I assumed there would be a/c as every other rental we have had in our six years of renting had it. It was tough having to sleep with loud fans. There was no cross breeze and the unit heated up a lot when we cooked. I would hesitate to rent that unit again solely due to the lack of a/c.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very happy with the unit, was perfect for this trip. Coffee maker should be replaced. We were surprised to find the keyless entry code stopped working as we loaded to leave at 8:00am causing some panic. Fortunately we had a phone and able to call the emergency number.
