Thank you Linda for staying in our home. Graduations are such a great time to celebrate with the family and recognize the efforts made, the rewards of accomplishments for a better future, Congratulations to the new grad. As for the WIFI , we just changed the modem and router. Sometimes also depends on your cell provider. This home is next to rolling hills. My advice for better cell reception is to turn your WIFi on in your cellphone, and works great this way. We also have a home phone with unlimited calls to the US ans Canada if needed.

We lived in this home before and had being renting it out for the past 2 years. We never encountered any problems with the internet or phone ourselves or with any previous guests. From the beginning of this reservation this guest has been trying to pay as little as possible or nothing for his stay. He requested a discount and I was able to give him a great one, minus $1,016 which I rarely do. He said he was a famous Christian movie producer, and this was an honor for us to have him as a guest. But he started to complain about the internet being too slow and that comes and go. He also started to say that he was a lawyer and had it in every email he sent me.. I made several calls to Time Warner, the internet provider. They keep saying everything was fine on their end, modem WIFI was tested and reset several times and they assured me everything is working fine. He continue to complain about the same problem. He said he did not mind calling Time Warner, so I provided him with the phone number; the modem is at the home so it was easier for him to explain the problem. A technician visit was made and added an extender only because the guest keep insisting it was a problem. Later he said the internet was worse.. and that his cell phone was not working. (We have a working phone in the home that he could use) I again called TWC and they said it was no problem with the modem when tested all this is documented. I increase the internet speed just to see if it helps. No matter what was done he was never happy. He started to demand full refund , then ten days refund, started to give me dead lines or else law suit or bad reviews. You can figure out the motivation. I feel in my conscious I tried everything in my part to help this guest as we always do. I wish him the best whenever he goes.

Sorry to hear about this. We had multiple guests with their families and never complained about the furniture being uncomfortable in the living room. There is plenty of sitting for 8 people or more. Most furniture are brand new. Of course if the person is young, old, skinny or overweight and sitting for a long period time in one spot anything can be uncomfortable. I will look into it this and thank you for the input.

Yes, when everyone is on the Internet at the same time is going to be slower it happens in my home with extreme Internet. I was told by the cable company to get internet extender. I will look into this option.
