Esta casa de troncos de 3 dormitorios está muy aislada en un lote arbolado. Hay una chimenea de leña en la sala de estar (en temporada), cocina completa con comedor abierto, 2 baños, sala familiar de nivel inferior con tablero de dardos y aire acondicionado central. Disfrute del porche y la terraza con una parrilla de carbón. Esta casa que admite mascotas tiene TV vía satélite / VCR / DVD, nuevo sistema estéreo y WIFI. Camina por el bosque hasta el río Lemonweir para disfrutar de la glorieta o fogata o canoa en el tiempo que el clima lo permite. Getaway

The house is beautiful. It is off the beaten path, but it was just what we were looking for. The drive into Wisconsin Dells wasn’t far.

The cabin was very cozy and the whole family enjoyed it. The mosquito issue previously commented on was real but we bought some foggers and that helped. It was a great trip.

Very nice, but not handicap accessible. Lower toilets and mosquitoes. Otherwise a ver nice secluded place. We loved the screened in porch.

Better than expected

Great property in a quiet location. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and Everything you could want to cook with. Amenities in the cabin were better than expected! We would definitely book here again!

Haven in the woods

The cabin was cute, it was setup nicely for a small group. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outside deck was great. The locals were friendly, we found plenty to do nearby. Come prepared for mosquitoes (many many mosquitoes) Overall, it was a nice getaway

Lots of mosquitos, house was nice loved the screened porch. Game room was very cold. Gazebo filthy and yard not mowed. House had everything needed for our family and beds were comfortable

Krystal, Since the game room is on the lower room it will be colder. You are in the woods so the mosquitoes are abundant. Since it is a wooded lot only the front lawn gets mowed. Gazebo is in the woods with screens only dirt blows in. Thank you Sand County

Beautiful getaway

The house was unexpectedly small compared to the photos! It was beautiful and the 7 + dog made it work. It is only 20 minutes from the Dells and that was our purpose for being there. We absolutely loved reading the book that everyone that stayed there has wrote in and we did too! There was two grills with no propane and an empty bag of charcoal so that put a bit of damper on dinner but they did have a confection oven so we figured it out!! The river access isn't there anymore, it was dried up so we didn't go on the river. With the check in, we did have to stop in the Dells to check in and grab the key which wasn't horrible but it was another stop from a long drive!! If we had a chance we would stay there again!

Nice location

We loved the location of this property. Wish the yard had been mowed before we arrived. The home inside was clean. There was a broken faucet handle in the bathroom downstairs but maintenance took care of it immediately. Also if someone plans to sleep downstairs they will need to use a lot of blankets. The downstairs was easily 10 degrees colder than the main floor (when using the air conditioner). We slept in the bedroom on the main floor next to the bathroom. The whole time we were there we heard a banging sound - like someone taking a rubber mallet and hitting the duct work in the home. This was the only room that you could hear this sound. Luckily I brought my fan so it drown out most of the noise. The screened in porch was filthy. The screen on the porch was so dirty you could see where someone wrote "Wash me". I realize it is a screened in porch, we have one on our house as well -BUT we clean ours. All of the chairs and the table had to be cleaned before we could use them. We did not really use the porch outside due to the excessive amount of mosquitoes. I thought southern Illinois was horrible. I walked down the ungroomed path to the lake one morning with coffee in hand and was not able to drink my coffee due the number of bugs hanging out. We did not use the gazebo because I did not come on vacation to clean and it too was not clean at all. As for the canoe, it is not by the lake so you will have to carry it down to the lake if you want to use it and good luck trying to find a place to get it into the water.

Thank you for your comments. I will be in touch with the owner to make sure he keeps the mowing under control. The owner is coming into his property today and I will mention the noise in that bathroom. I will also speak with my housekeepers regarding the screen in porch and gazebo getting cleaned. Unfortunately, it is a bumper crop of mosquitoes this year due to all the rain this spring. Sand County

I shouldn't recommend this home.

I shouldn't recommend this home. I dont like having a hard time finding it available.The home has been the same one for the last 5 years. I used to stay at whatever home was available but since the first time we staied at this one we accommodate our schedule to its availability. Thats how much we love it. I've been a Sand County customer for the last 7 years for all my winter weekend get away road trips. Thats how much I'm plesed with their service.

Unique log cabin in a quiet wooded setting.

Friendly and helpful staff helped to improve our stay. We enjoyed the quiet setting and the ability to relax in the gazebo near the river on rainy days. The decor is quite interesting with antique items and mounts. Was a nice home base to explore nature in the area.

Perfect cabin in the woods

Our family of 4 enjoyed the lofted cabin. the fireplace and living room were perfect. The pool table in the basement was amusing. We were there at thanksgiving so we only looked at the slightly frozen river. It is well located for both lots of big fun as well as quiet time in nature.
