Cabin in the woods with Castle Rock Lake access

Enjoy nature from the deck of our home, quite close to Castle Rock Lake. We're situated in a cul de sac, in May's Point area on the west side of Castle Rock. We have deeded access with a pier for rental, feel free to bring your own boat.

Our cabin/home, built in 2007, is fully functional — giving your family the modern conveniences you expect and the ambience your getaway vacation deserves!

This 1.5 acre pie-shaped lot offers a private escape to the woods, with a short 2 minute walk to the shared pier. Dock your boat during your entire stay on the shared pier and enjoy endless lake activities. Star gaze the vast night skies, roast marshmallows, laugh and tell family tales around the campfire in the evenings, and relax on the deck with rocking chairs.

This home accommodates your family of 10+, with 3 bedrooms, the 3rd bedroom being the large room with multiple bed options. The hardwood flooring throughout completes the natural decor of our cabin. The fully-stocked kitchen offers all the modern stainless steel appliances to prepare meals and entertain your family and friends.

High cathedral ceilings, open loft, and plenty of windows throughout provide glimpses of nature and sunlight days as you unwind and rejuvenate during your stay.

Come enjoy Castle Rock Lake, with 13,600 acres of water fun! Boating, jet skiing, dining, hiking, beaches, horseback riding, fishing, ATV and snowmobiling, canoeing, nature and more! Visit the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge and Buckhorn State Park, or take a day-trip to the Sparta-Elroy Bicycle Trail, House on the Rocks, or Frank Lloyd Wright Homes! Only 30 minutes to the WI Dells attractions!

The property was beautiful, views, bedrooms, great room and game room downstairs. Games galore provided by hosts something for everyone. Great getaway any time of the year. Danielle was quick to respond and the property had everything you needed to make memories! We will definitely rent this property again!

A Great Place for a Getaway Vacation!

Wonderful, fun family memories made here! A beautiful, clean home with something for everyone — families, couples, and groups. Fully stocked kitchen, lots of sleeping accommodations, and thoughtful and responsive hosts. Quick access to Castle Rock Lake and all the area has to offer.

Relaxing Lake Vacation

The house was great for my family of 5 and another family of 4 with 5 kids all under 7 years old. The house was very clean and spacious with a very well kept deck and fire pit outside. Plenty of room for the adults to relax and the kids to play. The lake was a short walk through the woods with a nice boat slip to park at. The host was also very accommodating and easy to get ahold of if needed. Would certainly stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Cabin in the Woods was perfect for my wife, our dog and me. All the qualities we look for were there. Tastefully decorated, very clean and roomy in a beautiful wooded, quiet setting. The fall colors were still on display, the weather was warm and sunny, and the nearby walking trails through the woods all made our stay a total joy. Will definitely stay again!

Very peaceful stay

We were looking for a comfortable, peaceful place for our extended family to spend time together. This property was that and more. It is modern and clean, there are games, both board and yard to play, and all of the amenities you would expect. We loved the space and would rent again.

Accomodations extremely well equipped and appointed including comfy beds. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 4 children inside and out. Communication with Danielle (host) prompt and responsive to our needs. Highly recommend!

A Little Getaway

The host is very nice and accommodating. The house is beautiful and well maintained; lots of indoor and outdoor games. We loved the location, it has a big yard in a quiet area. It is very close to the boat ramp and boat slip. We decided on the first night that we will return!!

One of my Favorites

This place is comfy and cozy. Feels like home. Super clean. Great spot for family with plenty of sleeping options. The short walk to and from the dock feels good after being on the boat. Bars, restaurants and the store are close. We loved everything about it!

Great Weekend

This was our second stay at Cabin in the Woods, we had a great weekend! It was beautiful weather so we spent a lot of time on the water, made easier by having use of the boat slip!! The owner is wonderful to work with. The cabin is very spacious and they have great indoor and outdoor games available. We didn't make use of the kayaks or paddle boards, hoping to do that next time. We definitely recommend staying here.

Impressive

The outside furniture on the deck and fire pit were top notch (better than expected). I have never been to a VRBO that had kitchen skillets that were in as good of shape as these were and I have stayed at several. Towels were better than a hotel and the place was clean. We took our bicycles and this was a good place to ride.

Great stay in the woods

The place was very clean. Worked perfect for our 2 families and pet. We utilized the boat slip for our pontoon which made it easy by just leaving the boat in the water. We found it easiest to drive a truck to the designated parking area closer to the boat with our coolers and 10 people. Mosquitoes were crazy. We ended going through multiple bottles, but well worth it with the large yard for many games of bags. Highly recommend this stay and we will look to book again next year!

Awesome cabin getaway

Our family and friends truly enjoyed our stay at Danielle’s cabin! The posting’s photos and description are accurate. We had 4 adults/4 kids and we had more than enough room. Very spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Danielle was very responsive and the check in/check out process was super smooth. We also rented their boat dock, which was easy to access and in a nice area! Fire pit with chairs, outdoor games, and grill provided! Even 4 kayaks were available for use which we took out for some adult exploring. Thank you very much, Danielle! We look forward to coming back soon!
