We've stayed here twice now and have been really happy both times. We love the view, the peaceful surroundings and access to the private beach (although folks rarely respect the signs about it being private). We love that the house is pet friendly, and it has all the essentials. It is a little place, great for a solo traveler, couple, or family with very little kids. Just a heads up, the microwave's performance is super underwhelming and the furnishings are a bit dated. Also, there are no extras in the kitchen (e.g. no coffee, salt/pepper, plastic bags, etc). There's also no beach accessories (i.e. remember to bring anything that you would want to have with you on the beach). There are dishes, utensils, pans, dish soap, bathroom bar soap, paper towel and coffee filters. The management staff is super responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

They called us to tell us we could check in early because the cabin was ready and when we arrived the cabin was dirty. They did send someone over right away and he was very nice and helpful . Changed the bedding and cleaned the bathroom …. I cleaned and wiped down the kitchen . Outside patio was dirty . The cabin was cute and decent but for what we payed I definitely expected more . The people at the office were very helpful and friendly and the view was amazing . I feel like it was a bit over priced and needed to be cleaner.

That’s not the experience we want for our guests. I’m glad our team was able to get someone over right away to take care of the bedding and bathroom, but I understand that you still ended up having to clean the kitchen and that the patio wasn’t up to standard. We truly appreciate your kind words about our staff and the view, and we’re happy to hear you found the cabin itself cute and comfortable. That said, your concerns about cleanliness and value are absolutely valid, and we take them seriously. I’ll be reviewing this with our housekeeping and operations teams to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Sweet Escape from summer season in Dells

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property was clean and had all the amenities described during our booking process. Highly recommend for couples looking to enjoy the Dells while also having the quietness of a laid back vacation!

The cutest place!

This little place was perfect for us! It was close to everything but still tucked away enough that it felt more remote. Being directly on the beach/ river was spectacular. It was beautiful and serene. Communication with the property manager was very easy and check in/ out procedures we're smooth. We will definitely book again!

Gorgeous view/Comfy stay

From the beautiful landscape and beach to the cozy and clean atmosphere inside the cabin, this place is worth every penny and we will definitely be staying again! Everything was fully stocked and the personal beach front made Birdhouse our own little paradise! Stay here if you like warm welcomes, peace and quite, stunning waterfronts!

We had a wonderful time with the kids and our 2 dogs. Brought our boat and kayaks and really took advantage of the beach. I'm so happy we booked this great place!!

Neat place in dells

Easy access to kayaking on the Wisconsin River. The same path they take the duck tours through. Nice fire pit area by beach next to river. To the right is privacy, to the left is a resort with the occasional person wandering past the privacy signs and onto the property. Not really an inconvenience. Pet friendly.

Quaint and great view

We stayed here to go hiking in the area. The property was exactly what we expected. A quaint place with a sizeable grass area by the water (with a lot of stairs to get there). We always appreciate dog friendly accommodations. If I could change something it would be to have duvet comforters where the duvets are washed with the linen. I really liked how the deck was completely closed so we could be on it with our dog. The area was quiet, and centrally located to everything we wanted to do.
