Lovely house in a nice quiet area close to good facilities. Was exactly as described. The garden is an oasis of calm. Such a nice place to spend time in both during the day and through the evening as it comes to life with colour and lights.

We had a great stay as a family of 6. The house had everything we needed to keep us comfortable on our vacation. Dan was super helpful with anything we needed. We swam in the gorgeous pool, slept great in the cozy beds, and felt very much at home!

Another excellent stay, six years after we last enjoyed this property

House is well equipped, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The games room and pool make for a fun and relaxing stay. Great for location. Nice local walks and nearby shops and restaurants. Dan was an excellent host and communicated well. We would highly recommend and stay again. .

Great home :)

This house was great for our group of seven. There was lots of space and everybody loved the pool and hot tub (it was used every day/night). We truly enjoyed our stay at this home.

Family in SoCal

Dan is a very thoughtful host. The house was perfect for the 8 of us. My wife, sons and their girlfriends enjoyed our stay. We swam in the pool, soaked in the hot tub, played pool, made great meals. It was a great home for us.

Beautiful!

This was our first time renting a home for a large family vacation and it was more than we could have imagined. The whole week we had beautiful weather and everything in the home was perfect for our trip! The owners are wonderful and easy to contact if needed. Easy access to anything you need. Beyond Perfect

This is probably the best renting experience we have ever had. It was spacious, well equipped, and as advertised. Perfect location to many things. The hosts were fantastic and super responsive. My kids are already asking when we can go back. Would love to rent again.

We were two families from the UK, with 4 children ages 8,10,17 and 21

Excellent house, catered for our two families very well. The children loved the pool and hot tub. And the adults loved the gas fire pit and outdoor seating areas. The house had a party feel with the pool table area opening right out onto the pool. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. We would definitely use this house again.

Great place to stay!

My family and I visited Southern California for the first time for a one-week vacation in late June. The house is in a cute neighborhood with lots of walking paths and is about half-way between Los Angelos and San Diego, so a great location to pretty much everything, including beaches and amusement parks. My favorite feature by far was the back yard, which is a paradise of its own! Pool, spa, waterfall, fire pit, lush landscaping and outdoor seating...! What more could you ask for? Easy check-in/out process and the host was very receptive and accessible. I would highly reccomend staying here!

Hope To Stay Here Again

So happy with our decision to stay at this house.LOVED it. Dan was there waiting for us on our arrival - he was so welcoming and informative and very organized. We ALL (8 adults and 2 toddlers) loved this house and the pool.Very clean throughout and just as the photographs showed.We would recommend this to anyone & everone! And the gift basket was a nice touch,thank you.

Fantastic Home...Everything We Needed for the Perfect Family Vacation!

This house was perfect for our family. They had all of the amenities we were looking for! The pool and hot tub were fabulous! The grandkids spent as many hours in it as they could. They also loved the pool table (even though none were very good at it) they got lots of practice! The adults enjoyed the built-in bar, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. When actually went home with clean clothes in our bags! The house was convenient to local shopping and a few restaurants were nearby. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Dave and Marva for sharing your home with us!

Every need fulfilled for a week and then some!

We couldn't have hoped for a better place than Dan's! The communication was great, the location quiet and safe, and the house was amazing! The house layout worked very well for our family of eight people with bedrooms on the second floor. The main level was great for lots of different activities and well connected to the kitchen. AND the bonus pool and hot tub (thanks to the great weather) was put to use every day of our week stay. Dan was so welcoming and great to respond to a few things. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday celebration together thanks to the lovely accommodations and host.

We loved every minute we spent in this beautiful resort-like home!

The photos do not do this place the justice it deserves! The moment you walk in the door, the first impression is awesome. Every need was met for our comfort. The openness of the layout provided such a beautiful space. Our family of 10 could not have had a better time. My grandchildren enjoyed the pool so much and the pool table provided great tournaments. In fact, they would have been happy if we never left the house at all! All in all, a wonderful stay was enjoyed by all. Thank you Marva and Dan for all of your special attention to the details. The home was meticulously clean, equipped with every possible need or supply. And the backyard pool, terrace, outdoor seating area, fire pit and hot tub were the hit of the week; we spent all of our time out there and admired the views. Anyone visiting the Lake Forest area should take advantage of this marvelous property for their stay. You will be so impressed, as we were!

Great vacation rental. We will be back!

We rented this house for six of us for 6 nights because we were in town for a wedding. The owner personally met us there to show us how to work the pool and hot tub and give us a quick tour. They even left us a basket of goodies on the kitchen island. The house is perfect. They thought of everything a renter may need. There is a beautiful pool and hot tub in the yard (which we used daily) with noodles, goggles, frisbee's and more. The beautifully landscaped yard also has an in-ground gas power fireplace and two great seating areas as well as a BBQ which we used for dinner twice. The inside of the house features four bedrooms, two and a 1/2 baths and is decorated so nice. The master bedroom is to die for. It is a large suite with a large seating area, fireplace and balcony which overlooks the yard. There are plenty of towels for showers and the pool, more than enough dishes, glassware, pots, pans. The house literally has everything one would need, washer/dryer, dishwasher. They even left us soap in the bathroom! The house is close to everything as well. Many stores and restaurants are close by and the beach is only about ten minutes away. Considering we have a lot of family in the area, we will definitely be back. We can not recommend this property enough. Thank you Dan and Marva for such a great trip, you made everything so easy!

Mermaid House

The house and yard were beautiful and loved all the Mermaid accents. We were there for my daughter's wedding and she loves mermaids so I think the house brought us good luck on our fabulous day. Layout of the house was fabulous. Loved the pool, spa and pool table!

Perfect Home Away From Home

Super fun backyard

The backyard was amazing! Very relaxing with heated pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit. The interior is older style but well kept. My only complaint was there we’re not very many bath towels and they were kind of scratchy. All in all it was an amazing rental
