Lujoso-Montana Cabin-Vista al bosque-Cabaña-Baño Privado

El recién adquirido en el año 2014, El "Montana" es una cabaña de madera a finales de 1800 completamente restaurado situado bien fuera de la carretera de la vida privada y con vistas a un barranco con unas cascadas y lecho del arroyo. Esta propiedad de 32 acres colinda Wayne National Forest con 1000 acres adicionales para explorar. Está a sólo 5 millas de Nelsonville de y 8 millas Parque Estatal del Lago Esperanza en el Bosque Estatal Zaleski. Lago Esperanza es perfecto para practicar senderismo y ciclismo de montaña y la hermosa 120 acres Lago Esperanza tiene un montón de pesca, canoa, kayak, picnic y natación.





Entusiastas de ATV están a pocos minutos del Dorr Run Trail Head con más de 75 millas de senderos designados para los pilotos de vehículos todo terreno, ciclistas de montaña y excursionistas a través del bosque del Estado de Wayne. Montana es de veinte minutos al oeste de Atenas y la Universidad de Ohio y 20 minutos al este de la cueva del anciano. Es perfecto para los padres y alumnos que visitan OU y perfecto para un fin de semana visitando famosa Hocking Hills en Ohio, nombrada como una de impresionantes destinos de BuzzFeed bajo el radar para agregar a su lista de cubo.





El Montana tiene un altillo con dos camas de matrimonio y hinchado pote chimenea de gas de 1820 para mantener el calor en las noches frías. Nuestros huéspedes definitivamente quiere visitar el distrito histórico de Nelsonville Artes con Stuart Opera House, Hocking College y el Festival de Música Nelsonville. This is our second stay at the cabin and we love it. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our only hesitation is with the towels! My husband’s shop towels are bigger and softer than the ones at the cabin. I understand that the cost of everything has increased, but, putting signage up limiting guests to one, tiny, rough towel doesn’t help customer goodwill.

We’ve been renting this cabin each year since 2019. We love it, but it has been a little disappointing the last couple of visits. The chairs on the porch were dirty. There were mouse droppings in the kitchen the last two visits. The gas grille was dirty this visit. The towels are no where near as nice as they were when we first started going there.It’s sad really. We love the cabin and the seclusion there, but we’re going to look at other cabins for our next visit to our favorite area in Ohio

Great little cabin! We stayed here for my 40th bday and it was really nice. They even came and switched out the tv to a smart tv so we could watch the Bears game. The hot tub was perfect, I loved watching the snow fall whie soaking. Overall a nice vacation, we will be back!

The Montana cabin was so clean and cozy. Everything the listing had was accurate. Even the rainy stay we had was enjoyable because we were nice and close to several antique malls which we really enjoyed. We had a romantic weekday stay and would recommend coming to this cabin.

As soon as you step in the cabin the smell of moth balls is overwhelming. If you plan on spending any time in the hot tub or by the fire pit be prepared to smell the septic tank the entire time. The wifi was not available at all during our two night stay which was unfortunate as we we would have liked to watch some movies at night. Also all the laminated rules throughout the cabin took away from the relaxed vacation feel. Not at all what we expected for the price we paid.

There are exposed mothballs stuffed into floorboards, walls, and just sitting out on window sills. All moth balls were exposed to open air and not in containers (must be sealed) creating toxic vapor and pesticides to leak through the whole cabin. The vapor made the cabin unbearable. Within 20 minutes we were coughing and nauseated by the chemical exposure. I brought a small child with me and exposed moth balls are extremely toxic to all but especially small children. I brought this to their attention the clear warning labels that come with mothballs and the warnings from poison control but they were dismissive stating it’s their common practice in cabins to improperly use mothballs and create dangers for the renters and their children. We canceled the trip and they refunded our money after I refused to accept this known carcinogen to be actively misused during our stay. They refused to take accountability for this toxic mistake or change their practices. Renters beware.
