We made the best of the weekend. The property was clean and well kept.

The property lack a lot of items to make our stay comfy. The fact that we were charged two 2 additional guest provisions would have been made to accommodate those. Simply items were missing from the property eg. toiletries, rags, insufficient towels, teacup, utensils, no hand soap for the restroom. Preparing a meal was a task. Luckily we had friends close by. In light of covid 19, not one sanitizer.

Dear Vonetta, Thank you for your time in your review submission and we apologize to learn here that you were not comfortable. This is quite surprising as the daily report while you were at the property upon my ongoing check-in on your stay was quite positive. I suspect your discomfort stem from below key point: You initially booked for 6 adults and 1 child. Then day before check-in you informed us you will be bringing 2 additional guests. It was conveyed to you that the villa accommodates 6 adults and not 8 adults. Seemingly since you added additional guests you would not have adequate supplies. We apologize again, but we were very transparent regarding the amount of guest we could accommodate. With deep remorse we regret not receiving these feedback during your stay because we pride ourselves on ensuring our guest are comfortable and also on ongoing process improvement. An example of this, the onsite manager went above and beyond and visited the town to rent you a barbecue-jerk pan upon your request and was consistently available to address your request for additional cups/utensils items to accommodate your additional guests. We immediately provided extra items upon your request. All the items and amenities listed on the website are an accurate picture of what we provide. We do not supply kitchen rags. Towels, hand soap and toiletry without uncertainty are always supplied to our guest. If guest desired additional its provided ASAP upon request. Finally, since its a private Villa, we do provide personal hand sanitizers but I do think this is a great idea given the COVID climate and will incorporate this for future guest. Again, thank you for your time in submitting a review for us and for the opportunity to host you and your family during the Christmas holiday. We very much appreciate your feedback. All the best. Sparkling Executive Luxury

I’ve visited Jamaica on several occasions and have found this villa to be the best one yet! The pictures truly do not do the place justice! When you walk through the front door everything sparkles – the floors, the windows, the shine from the stainless steel appliances. They all sparkle! The pictures also do not capture the spaciousness of the place. As you walk from the living room and down the hallway to the bedrooms, there is an ample amount of square footage to make you feel comfortable. What drew me to this place was the modern décor – from the inviting bathtub to the layout of the Master Bath, down to the very linens on the bed. The place gives you the feeling as if you are at a luxury hotel. Every morning I walked past the pool area and onto the beach. Daily, I greet the maintenance workers who are busy cleaning and landscaping the area at the break of dawn… The pool is clean but I spent most of my time sitting on a bench on one of piers. The view is picturesque, and the water is so clear that you can see tiny fish darting around your feet! Jamaican Ocean Retreat felt like home. I will be going back and staying a month! It is the perfect place to “Work from Home” for those who have that luxury. It is on the Executive Level of Luxury, spacious, quiet and pristine. Also, Ryan, the manager, was very attentive, amicable, professional and quick to respond. Having him on call was a great asset to our stay.

A met all our needs

This was the perfect place for us. We had to find a last minute place with just a couple weeks before departure. Maria was very understanding and helpful, always a quick response. After getting there (2 hr drive from MBJ airport) Ryan the property manger and a local met us there and explained everything to us. The house has nice modern features. Remote blinds and fans, AC in every room, washer and dryer. This property is technically not beach front (none technically are) but a very short walk to your private beach. The beach was nice, seemed very new with imported sand. Note- not a lot of chairs or lounging places at beach or pool so bring towels to lay on. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make Christmas dinner. Ryan was so helpful!! Even met our other family at 2am to help them find a new a place last minute (due to their villa 45 mins away not being up to par) Ryan was able to get them into the condos in the same property Marina Village. The security guards are also friendly and helpful. I’m so thankful we found this place last minute. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautifully situated property

We absolutely loved our stay at this villa. PROPERTY MANAGER: The property manager Ryan was excellent. He was super helpful in making recommendations of where to get local food at restaurants, groceries, fishing charters and even a birthday cake. He was extremely responsive whenever we needed anything during our stay. He made our stay feel like we were truly at home. THE VILLA: The particular villa itself is beautifully furnished and centrally located to everything in Ocho Rios. It's approximately an hour and 20 mintues from the MoBay Airport. It's gated, extremely clean and the access to the beach is just a short walk. We thought the villa itself is actually overlooking the beach but it is not. Again, not a big issue because it's just a short walk to the beach located within the community. The villa had all the amenities we needed - refrigerator, stove, electric kettle, washer, dryer, iron, beach towels, TV, internet access, and the blinds are state of the art (electronic). The only negative thing I can say is the hot water was not consistent at all for showering which was tough for us because we have an 18 month old. THE BEACH: Absolutely flawless and stunning. We were hard pressed to find a beach that was as serene, clean, and beautiful as the one located on the property. When we come back to Jamaica, we would definitely stay here again. It was a seamless process for a gorgeous property.

On the lovely evenings, whether you want to take in the sights, sounds, or taste of the Island, simple relax on the beach or sit back and relax on the patio watching the sunset over the ocean, the villa home is a perfect retreat - and one of the many reasons to all in-love with this home!
