This large house is situated on a beautiful property with views of the Laurel Highlands and is close to local attractions. Lots of room for a family to stay. There were deer to watch on the property every day while we were there. The beds were comfortable, but were smaller than a standard queen. We appreciated use of the fire pit. Max is an excellent host and communicator.

This was our second stay at Grandma’s Gift. The layout and furniture are ideal for when we want to hang out after hiking. Plenty of space and seating. Max was prompt in responding to our inquiries.Being in this space feels like home to all in our party. Lovely rental.

Beautiful home and property. The view simply cannot be beat. It's in close proximity to a lot of activities. However, the gardens need tended to and a couple of the beds need replaced.

The house was in a great location to Falling Water, Kentuck Knob and the Ohiopyle. The house was very clean and as described! It fit our family nicely and we enjoyed the space and the gorgeous view. It was great that there was a closet in the master bedroom that had extra towels, soap and other supplies. Only negative was the beds weren't super comfy, but we'd definitely stay here again.

The house and location were perfect for a weekend get away with family. The residence was perfect for playing games and cooking together. The grounds were quiet and full of natural beauty.

We rented the property to give our mother a surprise 80th birthday part. The dwelling was exceptional in every aspect, clean and beautiful. The setting provided an excellent place to gather family members and the views surrounding the property were magnificent. The only aspect that was questionable was the over grown pathway to the entrance. We would rent this again and again. A wonderful time was held by all.

Magnificent sunsets

Home was lovely and convenient to outdoor activities, but a bit spooky for an aunt and 2 teenage nieces due to no curtains in common areas and some bedrooms and bathrooms. (Husband could not travel at last minute.) We initially couldn’t gain access to the home, but someone must have known this remotely since the door unlocked on its own as we stood there debating what to do. The next morning we tested the door prior to leaving for a raft trip. Again, no success, but we left for rafting assuming we’d figure out later. Again, someone must have sensed this and remotely unlocked the door. We had already left. It was unnerving for us to return hours later to a remote, unlocked home. Nieces were scared, but I checked the home and reassured them it was safe. I also wished we had access to a washer/dryer, or at least a clothesline. Glitches aside, it was a nicely appointed rental with marvelous sunsets including an incredible heat lightning show one evening.

Beautiful & Relaxing

This home is spacious & very nice. It has everything that you need to relax while spending time with family. The property and gorgeous views will take your breath away. If you need anything, call Max-he will take care of it. Get your basic supplies, food, laundry supplies, bar soap or body wash on your way. The Dollar General is closest about 15 min each way, the Walmart is appx. 30 min. each way. But the peace, quiet, privacy & relaxation are absolutely priceless!

Spacious and comfortable home; plenty of room for our family of six. We could not get security code to work; good communication with owner to resolve. Written instructions on using tv and what to do with linens before checking out would be helpful.

We really loved this property - so homelike and cozy. Very clean, and beautiful property with view. We went skiing at Seven Springs which was 25-30 min from the house. Would love to stay in Fall and Summer, lots to do in the area.

Great Property

This house was perfect for our annual gathering. The open floor plan and ample seating allowed us to hang together the entire weekend. We were close enough to hiking trails so we could hike then come back to the house and hang out by the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

Backyard Getaway

Have lived near Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob all my life….this weekend we did an adult field trip and biked part of the GAP trail. This house was perfect for six old friends to relax in.

We had a great time at this place. The house is nice with a big open main area and the grounds were beautiful! It’s also really close to many of the attractions of the area like Ohiopyle or Falling Water. We would definitely come back!

Relaxing and fun last blast of summer getaway

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grandma’s Gift. There was plenty to do within 20 minutes and the house is situated on a gorgeous piece of land. Our days were filled with activities while our nights were complete with relaxing bonfires and smores.

Beautiful, secluded and gorgeous location

Perfect location to enjoy Ohiopyle but far enough to step away from the action. Max is very responsive and will do his best to make sure that you enjoy your stay.
