We enjoyed our stay here with our adult children and grandkids! There's plenty of room for everyone, and the amenities are well thought out. Easy check-in process. I have never felt unsafe in this neighborhood, which is very walkable. There are plenty of great places to dine if you're a foodie like we are.

Great house for a group trip

This was my 2nd stay at Maxwell house. We were celebrating a 21st birthday & college graduation. The property owners had setup a fun celebratory treat bowl on the table for our arrival. The upgrade of a 3rd full bathroom & moving the entrance to the upstairs bathroom to the hallway are nice improvements especially because we were a group of 10 women. The house has everything one might need in a vacation home & then some. The location is great, grocery store is close by, many walkable restaurants, & short uber ride to other attractions like Broadway. I highly recommend this home.

Sister trip 2024

Beautifully remodeled house. Great location. Easy to get Ubers. Property manager very attentive and responded to all inquiries right away. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing to be aware of is the stairs as it is an older house so stairs to 3 of the bedrooms are steeper than the usual. LOVELY PLACE

2024 Family Christmas

This home was ideal for our family Christmas get together over MLK weekend. There were 12 of us and it provided 2 spacious living areas, comfortable beds and a great outdoor space. This home is central to many of the area attractions. If we are in the area again, I would not hesitate to return to this beautiful home.

New Years in Nashville

Nashville, between Christmas and New Year's Day, was a great place for a family reunion. There was a lot to do--we visited the Country Music Hall of Fame, The Parthenon, The Shriner's Theater Family Show, the Lane Motor Museum of Unique Cars, the Belle Meade Winery, and Martin's Bar-BQ restaurant. Our accommodations were outstanding! We stayed in a recently remodeled and nicely decorated three-story Craftsman-style home with four bedrooms, a bonus room with an additional double bed, 3.5 bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen with a great gas range, and a fully fenced-in level, back yard with a deck and gas fire pit. The fire pit contained blue and green glass pieces over a gas fire ring and was encircled by 8 Adirondack chairs. The whimsical lighting in the backyard created an excellent atmosphere for sitting around the fire and enjoying our favorite drinks. The backyard was also great for playing with our dog. The hostess was responsive during the scheduling process, communicated clearly, and provided us with an abundance of everything we needed (lots of towels, blankets, outdoor games, and general cooking and household items) and even gave us a bowl full of snacks and New Year's Eve party items. On New Year's Eve, we went outside the house and saw fireworks from the street. Overall, we had a superb visit and highly recommend this property to others considering a vacation in Nashville.

LOVE this HOUSE

We had a great stay at this home. Spacious home, nice that the teenagers had their own living room. Backyard was very large, fire pit was wonderful, bedrooms all a nice size. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen, had everything we needed, and the double oven was a nice plus. We walked to many places and walked the dog multiple times a day all around. Front porch was very inviting and we enjoyed sitting outside there as well. Decorated so nice and very comfortable! We would stay here again... one of our teenagers left their phone and the owners even found it and shipped it to me. Very kind!

Yearly siblings and spouses vacation

The house was great. We had 10 adults and there was more than enough space for everyone. 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The dining room table was even big enough for everyone. They provided lots of bath towels and many other essentials. Fire pit patio was also nice in the evenings.

Perfect for my 50th Birthday in Nashville

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Close proximity to downtown, just a short Uber ride. Also walking distance to several restaurants and shops in an art district type area. Nice quiet safe street. Huge yard for our pup! Perfectly decorated with Nashville flare and super .clean.

Amazing experience, best rental in Nashville!

From the moment we walked into the rental, we had such a lovely experience, no complaints, everything we could possibly need and more. The home itself is beautiful, well decorated, well taken care of, clean, well stocked and very organized. There is so much space in this house, our group of 8 didn’t feel on top of each other, many bathrooms/showers and could even accommodate a few more friends. They had plenty of towels(plus laundry facility), comfy beds, stocked linen closet, provided bug spray, lighters, soaps & shampoo, extra window AC units upstairs for those hot days and a snack basket. We especially enjoyed the front porch and back patio with gas fire pit, enough seating for everyone and lovely peaceful surroundings. The location also could not have been better.. many grocery stores, convenience store, drug stores, bars and restaurants all walking distance or a short Uber drive. Also a 5-10min ride to the downtown strip. And the cherry on top, was the service from the host. We requested a very late checkout, as our flight didn’t leave until later in the day, and the host was very gracious to extend it quite late so we didn’t have to wonder the city with our luggage before our flight. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Nashville Vacation

House was perfectly located to access attractions and points of interest. It is an old house and the big drawback was the vertical staircase to the 2nd floor. Extremely difficult climb. My salvation was the outside staircase. The dining room chairs were the most uncomfortable I have ever had in a rental. They seriously need some cushions. All in all, our stay was pleasant and the house was very well equipped.

Family Meet Up in Nashville!

I travel frequently and stay in nice rentals, but often times they lack that cozy, warm ambiance we all want. This house did NOT disappoint and felt just like home. Melissa’s house is top of my list for places to revisit. Clean and equipped with not only the basic amenities but so many additional perks that made it so welcoming: instructions and labels all over the house, plethora of dishes, glasses, pillows, blankets, games, movies, etc. The indoor and outdoor are so well put together and you can tell they put love and care into this space like it was their own. To top it off the location couldn’t be better. 15 minutes to airport, 5 minutes to downtown, 15 minutes to Opry Mills Mall, Resort etc. and the walkable 5 Points area was adorable. Can’t wait to come back.

Warm & accommodating house

Visited Nashville to celebrate my 60th bday. There were 8 of us. Melissa is very responsive & genuinely cared about us having what we needed. There were plenty of towels & toiletries, dishes, pots & pans. I highly recommend this property!

50th birthday celebration

I rented this place for my wife to celebrate her 50th birthday with her friends. They absolutely loved it . Location was great easy to get to and close to everything. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. We would most definitely rent there again.

Perfect Getaway

A group of us (5 couples) stayed here for the weekend and had a great time! The house was perfect for us and everyone commented how nice it was. Melissa was very patient with us, since we had to reschedule a couple times. She always made things work out. The beds were comfy and the house had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again!

Birthday Celebration

I can’t say enough about this lovely property. You can obviously tell the owners take pride in welcoming people to their home. They stocked the fridge with the basics, their decor was spot on, and the thoughtful welcoming basket of snacks and party hats was over the top. We could walk or take a short Uber ride to everything the area/Nashville has to offer. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone that is going to Nashville with a group and looking for a wonderful experience.

Perfect Family Trip

What a cozy little bungalow! Enjoyed a fun little family reunion in a house that made us a little nostalgic for simpler times in our hometown. We have a similar neighborhood with similar styled homes that we always wondered what it was like to live in one. Now we know! Everyone loved their rooms with comfortable beds. We had to share 2 full bathrooms among the 7 of us, but never felt inconvenienced by it. The property was so well stocked with amenities that we didn’t need to use anything we brought ourselves (I.e. hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, bath wash, coffee, sugar, Splenda, ziploc bags, etc). They even stocked the fridge with a small supply of bottled water and Bubly water. Plus, they’ve allowed a few unused items from previous tenants to remain in the fridge like butter. Oh and the TOWELS smelled SO good! The neighborhood was relatively quiet. Except for the sounds of Friday night football game at the nearby high school. Their marching band practiced daily but we enjoyed it! We felt safe enough to walk to the Five Points area for dinner. The only complaints we had were the very noisy stairs to the 3 rooms upstairs and the sticky door of the full bath on main floor. When trying to pull that bathroom door open, it makes a very loud sound that can be heard throughout the house. Took a little bit of effort too. Senior citizens and/or children make find difficult to open and close it. Regardless, I’d highly recommend this property for Nashville stay.

Exceeds Expectations!

This house is the place to stay in Nashville!!! The house exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed from kitchen tools to a huge snack bowl filled to the brim upon arrival! Check in and out was extremely easy and we loved the outdoor fire pit!! Downtown was only a quick 10 minute Uber and perfect for our trip! The house was also super clean! The neighborhood was great! We loved sitting on the porch with our morning coffee! 11/10 would stay again in a heart beat!

The yard is so very welcoming from the huge front porch (with swing) to the private fenced back yard with gas fire pit.
In addition, the house is totally renovated and offers an awesome basement rec room, easy walk to East Nashville restaurants and bars, quick cab/ Uber/ Lyft ride to downtown (3 miles) and bus stop 1 block away. We also have a Kroger grocery store 2 blocks away.
