Best location with easy access to Bryson City and Deep Creek tubing. Spacious, older appliances, cute country cabin. Had a problem with TV, promptly remedied. Outdoor area for kids to play on. Will def stay again.

Nice cabin and location

Everything was taped up when we got there and I wasn’t sure if the cabin was mine. No curtain on the front door, we had to put a towel up . I like the remodeling and it makes it more convenient for adults to stay there.it’s a very nice cabin , just a mess up on my reservation.

My children couldn’t walk around barefoot because it gives splinters. We kept picking them out our feet. And only one room has a tv so the kids hated it. Otherwise it was a cute and cozy cabin.

Cheap! Guess you get what you pay for.

The outside of the "cabin" was clean and nice. The inside was clean also, however this should be listed as a 2 bedroom. The "third" bedroom is inside the old closet of the master which is two twins and very small. Ceiling fan in that room does not work and the wall that separates the twin beds from the full is a petition wall. No privacy! The mattresses are extremely loud! The bathroom shower is the size of a camper shower, fortunately there is another shower in the rental. The old floors creak and crack so if other people in your party are trying to sleep and you need to make it to the restroom.....good luck. Also the appliances are outdated. The coffee pot does not work. I will say that the heat works great! If you ignore this review much like I did to others that posted before me then you too will find out the hard way. I will say if you have 2 couples going instead of three couples like we did then you may be fine with the cabin but bring a coffee pot and women will just have to use the larger shower if they plan to shave or don't want thier hair to get wet. Not to be completely negative it was cheap and we did enjoy the firepit.

The Bryson Patch cabins have been our "Home away from home" for close to 10 of those years, #1 being our favorite. The work done there since last year was great. It was just right for us, once again. And Yellow Rose was easy to work with. A great experience for us.

Great place, NOT a 5 minute walk to Deep Creek entrance

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The description was accurate except for the "5 minute" walk to Deep Creek AND it is NOT across from the entrance. It is more like a .5 mile distance away. Other than that, the cabin was good for the $. Firepit was nice - except when the person mowing showed up when we returned from our outings & left grass clippings all over the firepit area. There was plenty to do in Bryson City & nearby towns. Do be aware that the one shower is extremely small - more like a motorhome stand-up shower. I do recommend.

Sorry to be so late!

There are several maintenance issues in the cabin that are inconvenient and seem unnecessary to leave undone: badly squeaking door hinges in bedroom, kitchen very poorly supplied with some basic eating utensils,the new fridge is horribly out of level & rocks when the door is opened, etc. Nothing that ruined the stay, but did detract. Was glad to have 2 keys available again this time. The location is so perfect for our purpose.

When we arrived for check in our cabin had not been cleaned. However, they got the cabin cleaned quickly after a phone call. My concern though is that they utilized the same comforters for the beds as the group before. They comforters has a little bit of a musky smell. The sheets were cleaned so that’s what mattered most.

Family time getaway

We enjoyed the beautiful area in the park and tubed and enjoyed family time. We were close enough to other parts of the mountain to make some day trips to laurel falls, mingo falls, we tried grotto falls but could not find parking. However myPoint is we were close enough to experience all the anomie’s had to offer and were were out of the hustle and bustle of all the tourist traps. It was a great stay.

My wife said it best. Expensive but cheap

From the dirty lampshade to the rodent bait stations under all of the beds to the wall patches and how much the whole place needed to be painted, I wish there was an option for less than one star. I would not stay here again.
