Exceptional Stay

Everything that everyone said in their reviews is accurate: beautifully appointed, spacious and very comfortable home inside and out with every amenity you could ever want. Location is convenient to everything. David and Amy are great and available for any help you could possibly need. David even came with me in the car to find and bring home my husband who was caught on his bike in a huge downpour. We will definitely be returning!!!

Excellent Stay

Amy & David's beautiful home was the perfect spot for our small reunion of friends and perfectly located for what we chose to visit: the Rockwell Museum, Tanglewood & Jacob’s Pillow. Our hosts generously lent us a cart and picnic chairs for Tanglewood and responded readily to our questions. We would highly recommend this gorgeous property to anyone looking to rent in the Berkshires.

The house and setting are amazing

What a stunning property. Wouldn't change a thing other than increasing the length of our visit. The house is large, gorgeous and well-appointed. We only met David, who was very friendly and charming. Nothing better than sitting out on their porch looking out at the grove of trees and enjoying the sweet, summer air. Thank you Amy and David.

Friends & Family Weekend

This is our third time staying at this property and we always look forward to our return. The owners are very friendly and seek to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The house itself is amazing - very spacious and clear with good sized bedrooms throughout. And the kitchen and common areas are lovely. Just 15 minutes away from great barrington and butternut.

Four generation celebration

The spaciousness and fine appointments of the property were a wonderful surprise. The house was a huge hit with the whole family. The kitchen was well stocked with all supplies. Amenities and extras included a fire pit and a zip line.

Perfect stay in West Stockbridge

My family very much enjoyed our long weekend at Amy and David's beautiful house. We were in the Berkshires for my niece's wedding, and the house provided all of the comforts we could possibly need. We especially enjoyed the spacious screened porch, the super large kitchen, and the luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. We appreciated that Amy and David were around if we needed them, but other than welcoming us and giving us a tour of the house, gave us privacy and space to enjoy their home and surrounding land. We will definitely reach out to the Pearlsons next time we need a large house in the Berkshires.

This is a wonderful property. The house and grounds are beautiful. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. There is exercise equipment available in the house and the owners are readily available. and very helpful. We were a group of 8 seniors and everyone of us was totally satisfied and impressed with the rental. We had no complaints

95th birthday celebration

We had multiple generations staying at the house. Ample space for everyone to spread out. Beautiful grounds to explore. The house is designed to encourage gatherings. Amy and David were attentive to any question we had and were kind enough to take a few family photos for us. Wonderful experience!

Everything it promised

Various members of our three generations came and went over ten days at this excellent, modern, well-tended house. We had ample very comfortable sleeping, working, relaxing and eating space, highlighted by a superb large screened porch perfect for eating food from the nearby gas grill. Hosts Amy and David were extremely friendly, generous, and attentive. They provided a crib, wading pool, safety gate, and playroom for our 1-year-old. Knowing David is an EMT gave an added measure of confidence. The house is off the beaten track in a wooded area of West Stockbridge, not walkable to anywhere, but within 15-20 minutes of Lenox, Stockbridge, and Great Barrington, with their many attractions. Our large family had a memorable experience.

First Class by any criteria!

Wonderful experience. Great location for everything yet quiet, serene and private. Great residence: Everything was in excellent condition. The kitchen was fully equipped for any need. Terrific toys for the children. The exercise equipment was state of the art. Screened in porch a major plus. Fantastic hosts.: Took our toddler children for a ride on the tractor. Helped me get a flat tire fixed in town. Provided great insight into places to go. Always available to happily answer questions and to be sure we were OK and well taken care of, at the same time not interfering with our privacy or vacation .

Great Property for a Reunion with Friends

Surrounded by woods and a neatly maintained lawn, the home was spacious, well appointed and quiet. The kitchen was large and well equipped, allowing us to prepare meals together and then share them at the large dining table there. The screened in porch was ideal for sitting and enjoying the breeze in the early evening. And most important, we all appreciated the comfortable beds in the four bedrooms. Regardless of when we asked a question, the property owners were always helpful. Five star property in our book.

Beautiful Home!

We were a group of nine family members looking for a get away to ski! This home was perfect. I might even say that the pictures do not do it justice! The layout of the home offered a great gathering area in the kitchen/dining/great room area and a quiet escape area in all of the bedrooms. It was really the best of both worlds. The kitchen had everything one could need to cook for a group and the pantry items were an added bonus. The hosts were very enjoyable and offered to be on call at anytime for anything, which was reassuring as we had little ones. The property was secluded, yet 10 - 15 minutes away from several towns. We did not make use of the screened in porch and the outside deck due to our time of visit, but they were beautiful spaces which we hope to make use of on our next visit! The kids really enjoyed the basement area with all the toys and the pool table! If you are looking for a large home in which to gather and retreat, do not hesitate to book this home.

Impeccable and Accommodating

This home was immaculately kept, had more space than we anticipated, was so warm and inviting, and the hosts were WONDERFUL. Amy was communicative and so kind and understanding (given the spike in COVID before our trip). We were 6 moms in need of a mini getaway, and this was the perfect space for us to decompress. We cannot recommend this property enough!

Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a beautiful house and property with easy access to Great Barrington and the surrounding area. The hosts are very nice and helpful - having them on property is a plus. Would love to come back.

Beautiful and beautifully appointed home

Our family of 7 adults and 3 young children loved the house. The kitchen and living area are wonderfully spacious and the (large) bedrooms nicely distanced from one another. We had some rainy weather but the house was large enough to keep everyone happy. Amy and David couldn't have been more gracious and generous. Great location: about 15 minutes from Great Barrington. Highly recommended.

Born and raised in Miami Fl. I met my husband in Gainesville Fl and moved back to Miami Beach after graduating where we owned and operated hotels and apt buildings for 20 years. After raising our 3 children on Miami Beach we decided we needed a change of pace and moved to The Berkshires in 2001. We know the hospitality industry and thought what better way than use our expertise than in hosting families, and friends in our beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We now have 6 grandchildren and have hosted numerous guests. We love meeting new people and making sure everyone is comfortable and having a wonderful relaxing stay. It looks as though we're doing a good job according to the reviews of our guests and that makes us happy doing what we do best.
