Beach shack

Overall we were okay with our stay. We didn't expect more than a pretty standard beach shack. The property and furniture was quite dated and the cleanliness of inside the shack was pretty average, but our intentions were just to sleep and have breakfast there, being out most of our holiday. Good for a budget conscious holiday.

GREAT LOCATION

We had the best family time in the best location. The house was decent, the beds were comfy (bring your own pillow if you don't like super soft pillows). We were satisfied for the price. Overall it was a good holiday home in a great location

Budget or busted ?

Clean but old. But that's Moore River. Blinds broken, doors off hinges, lights blown. Archaic furniture too. You expect things to work when you pay for accommodation, and as we had a pet, and always accessing the back yard, it didn't help the sliding doors were in desperate need of new rollers. Thank goodness the inlet didn't let us down - thank goodness for nature!

Great budget stay.

Property was good. Lots of room. Furniture was a little dated but clean and comfortable beds . Budget accommodation that was reasonable. Suited our requirement. Lots of teenagers and a dog. Family fishing and beach trip. Don’t expect the ritz though and only one bathroom was difficult with a big family at times. Kitchen was clean and well equiped. Lots of room for two cars maybe more. No problems with bbq.

No Problem with that. My problem was the lack of information as to how things work.Could not get the stove top to work even with instructions why???? there is a little switch just under the microwave you must turn on. No labeling or notice to say so.None of the technology there works TV VHS/DVD player. Nothing nada zippoBBQ be sure to go hunting for that... our bottle was in the laundry behind the privacy shower screen

Horribly disgusting: the rental property and the rental company.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Budget means affordable, not borderline health hazard but apparently this company does not care. The property condition was shameful: filthy floors instantly discolored the bottom of our feet, human hair found throughout the kitchen, cobwebs at least 1 month old throughout the property, etc. The owner asked for proof via photos of this condution, can you imagine?! Luckily I have it. Their response time to communication is a joke, especially from Kristen. No, your company is not "obligated" to notify guests that reception is bad in the area (unless you have Telstra or Optus), but if you know, why wouldn't you share that info with guests prior to them traveling to town?! Someone needs to give these guys a serious re-education on how to operate a more customer service focused business because they're clueless. The owner claims that the lockbox codes are changed between guests but has no explanation as to why or whom attempted to collect the keys (with the correct code) & enter the rental at 11pm the night before our departure. How dangerous and disgraceful?! Words cannot describe how much our family will not recommend this business nor their rentals.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our weekend experience overall! We were assured that the home was wheelchair friendly, and the property absolutely was! The only problem was shower access.Unfortunately crockery and cutlery left much to be desired. We had to wash everything before use. Many items had food residue caked on them. We had been informed of the broken stove top before hand, and managed quite fine.In spite of these minor issues it was great!

Reviewer Comments: The house was great the price was great BUT it advertised aircon but had none and there was a TV with 5 remotes with no instructions on how to use any of the devices. The cupboard under the TV was full of empty DVD cases. It didn’t bother me we couldn’t use the TV it annoyed me there’s were no instructions on how to use it. I messaged the local rep to ask about the bins as the information was conflicting and I got no reply. I also think I left something behind and no communication for that either. The lack of communication was also annoying.
