¡Experimenta la belleza de la naturaleza ubicada en el hermoso Bishop Lake! Esta encantadora cabaña tiene magníficas vistas al lago y es una escapada natural perfecta para familias. ¡Ve a pescar o a nadar fuera del muelle, relájate junto a la fogata, da un paseo en remo o en kayak (2), escucha los bribones y disfruta de la madre naturaleza en su máxima expresión! El interior de la cabina cuenta con tres dormitorios: el dormitorio 1 tiene dos camas individuales, el dormitorio 2 tiene una cama Queen y el dormitorio 3 tiene una cama matrimonial con litera doble en la parte superior. Con varios restaurantes en el área, también está ubicado en el centro de varias otras áreas recreativas y actividades: cinco minutos en coche del Mole Lake Casino and Hotel, diez minutos en coche de Crandon, quince minutos en coche de un campo de golf local y menos de un hora en coche a Eagle River y Rhinelander. Estamos buscando alquilar solo a personas responsables orientadas a la familia.

Great stay on such a peaceful lake. If you are looking for quiet, this is your spot! Kids caught a variety of fish off the dock in the morning and evening. Mark is a great host, thanks Mark!

Nice cabin

Cabin was clean and had many extras. Area was quiet. Lake was calm and warm. Small lake with lots of weeds so we didn’t swim. Kayak and paddle boards were fun and perfect for the lake. Saw eagles everyday.

Could not be more peaceful

The cabin is clean, spacious, well equipped and in a very quiet and peaceful place. The only “negative” was the TV (which gets only a few.....very odd channels) and that frankly proved to be a boon as well, as we simply just enjoyed watching the eagles swoop over the lake and listening to the loons...... The owner was extraordinary responsive when I reached out, friendly, helpful.....and accurate. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it. Great value for the nightly rate.

Perfect Cabin Getaway

Everything was as expected or better. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Communication from the owner was great and responsive. Many things to do in the area (besides swimming, fishing, kayaking, etc) such as ATV trail riding, shopping, dining, and a casino (although it is very limited—no table games). The best part were the views, sunsets & the peace & quiet. Overall, a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to a return visit.

Lake Bishop

Walked in to find a dirty cabin. Food pieces on stove top, floors dirty, beds unmade. Almost left....DIL nearly freaked. We cleaned, found bedding & made beds, guys cleaned up porch and area around....3 days into stay and noticed bad smell in bathroom....bedding and towels left in washer...ugh. We pulled them out, stuffed in a garbage bag and left them outside to dry out. NO wifi unless you bring your own and then it's ify. Best thing was location which is why we stayed and the fishing was great.

Sara, My apologies again, and as stated to you, I was just as shocked as you were the cabin was not cleaned before your arrival. Our cleaner has always been dependable, but had a medical emergency and was not able to notify us until 2 days after you arrived. Your cleaning fee was waived. Im glad you were able to make the best of it considering the circumstance.

Up North cabin with great kayaking!

Well cared for cozy three bedroom cabin on a medium sized, shallow lake that was perfect for kayaking or other paddle sports. Was very quiet during our stay. We observed various birds on land and water. The lake was beautiful. Our stay was very relaxing. The accommodations were comfortable with excellent attention to the small details. The only small inconveniences were that the tap water had a sulfur smell and taste, so bring bottled water. Also, the lake was too shallow and weedy to swim in. Overall, a great up north vacation!

Awesome getaway experience!

My family had an excellent experience renting this cabin. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We had plenty to do- kayaks, paddle boards, a row boat for fishing. We caught a lot of fish, and enjoyed seeing eagles and loons on the lake. Mark was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay! He also warned us of severe storms approaching and suggested safety plans in case we needed to go somewhere during the storms. We will definitely come back in the future!!

Very Relaxing

The cabin is very comfortable. The lake is not large but was perfect for us. It was very quiet, just a few pontoon and fishing boats. We went fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and spent a fair amount of time just lounging in a floatie. (We brought our own fishing equipment and floaties) We enjoyed using the grill and fire pit. It was a great way to end a fun day of lake activities. Other local activities that we enjoyed was golfing, shopping and going to the nearby beach. Casual, low stress, relaxing vacation, which is exactly what we were looking for!

Summer getaway

We had a great time on Bishop lake! The space was plenty big with 4 adults, a 2 year old, and a dog. Cabin was very comfortable. As previously stated in the above comments the stairs are going down a hill to the lake, but my 75 year old father had no issues going up and down with a railing the whole way and 2 year was fine while holding a hand. Plenty of room to play on top by the cabin also. We caught some nice fish, watched the family of loons and the bald eagles. The owner messaged us to make sure everything was good and we arrived safely.

Family visit

We were looking forward to getting out on the lake, but unfortunately it looked like all the water crafts hadn’t been touched in a long time and needed a good cleaning. The house had a strong musky smell, and when we went to go to sleep and removed the decorative pillow and comforter our bed and pillows were covered in hair not sure human or dog. Not a lot of room to unpack clothes, no closets. Owner was quick to respond the messages and thoughtful in leaving a fan for us, however for the price and the good ratings we were expecting much different fully finished and ready for exploration unfortunately, so it was a let down. The area was great and the dock would have been perfect to set out on. The kids appreciated a few of the movies there when we returned for the night, that was great.

Lauren, sorry your stay wasn't as expected. We were up the 4th of July week and used all the watercraft. The area has received a lot of rain, dirt and spiderwebs do occur being by the lake and woods. Our cleaner washes all the sheets and pillow cases after each renter, and also have a dresser with clean spare sheets and cases. I will check with the cleaner as to how that may have occurred. Unless it is a home, cabins are smaller and generally do not have closets. When the cabin is not being used, and very hot outside, the air can be stale inside, requiring to open the windows for a brief time to air it out. All rooms have a ceiling fan. There is 1 floor fan, and a portable window air conditioner. Not sure on comment not being able to use the dock to set out on? Pontoon boat was there to sit on and enjoy also. Our rates are on the lower end on VRBO for similar rentals, and feel confident that our value surpasses what similar places have to offer as far as condition and furnishing. We are an up north family cabin to have fun, while having the amenities to enjoy!

Beautiful place, wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful, rustic cabin with everything at our fingertips! As a family, we were focused on finding a cabin on a lake so we could fish & the kids could play in the water. This was perfect! The location is great for a quick drive to other local lakes and a nice sized grocery store that has a little bit of everything!! It was very easy to find & although the neighbors are fairly close, they didn't seem too bothered by our 3 rambunctious and loud country boys! The traffic was also almost nonexistent!! We did have a rainy afternoon but we were able to keep busy with the tote full of boardgames & activities! We all slept amazing! The beds are super comfortable! It was the disconnect & reset from normal life that we all needed. Mark was very quick to respond to any of my questions and had great recommendations!

Secluded and quiet

Cabin needs work. Not for anyone with mobility issues. This should be mentioned in the description. There's no mention of the long stairway to the pier. There's a really strong mold odor, especially in the room with the twin beds. Not for anyone with allergies. It would have been nice if the living room and bedroom fan would have worked because only a couple of windows opened. Cabin is not childproof and not safe for young children. On a positive note, the view is beautiful and sunsets are awesome. It would have been nice if the pontoon boat was available for use.

Hi Kathleen, I am so sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. Our place is not set up for guests with mobility issues. I have had many potential guests email or call me to discuss the property layout before deciding to confirm their stay because of mobility issues or other. I am more than happy to provide further detail and recommend that our place may not be ideal for their needs. I just vacationed there after your stay. Our cabin cleaner did not notice any mold smell cleaning after your stay. I did however notice a faint mustiness when the twin bedroom fan was off. I believe the issue was the cabin cleaner put away washed bedsheets in the dresser that were not fully dry. I will address that issue with the cleaner. The living room fan was working just fine? One bedroom fan was not working due to faulty switch that I have replaced. The floor fan in that bedroom was damaged and looks like it was dropped on the floor. As far as our place not being childproof, I assume you mean we have dish detergent, soaps, and cleaning supplies under the kitchen and bathroom sink. As a parent myself, nothing is child proof and requires watching kids at all times. I did text you after your arrival as I do all of our guests to make sure that you arrived safely, and that all is well. You responded that all was well. If there are any issues, I do appreciate being notified right away so I can correct the problem for you during your stay.
