Love, love, love this place.

My daughter did an internship for 8 weeks and stayed here. I couldn’t have asked for a better place. Host was always available quickly when I had a question. Location was great as it looked over a golf course. It was a safe area on a dead end street so no traffic other than the ones living there. Only one hiccup wherein the temperatures got down into the teens one week and the heat semi went out. Host was quickly repairing it and even brought a space heater for added warmth. My daughter was so sad when she moved out. We wish we owned the place so we could visit Birmingham more.

Amazing VRBO experience

I loved the property - waking up every morning with a beautiful view of Highlands Park golf course was a highlight. The host was very responsive communicating with us. All in all, it was a 10/10 experience and we'd love to stay here again!

Close to everything!

Always super clean and has everything you could need. Close to UAB and St Vincent’s. Very safe and quite neighborhood. Great restaurants and parks nearby. Love this place!

Just what we needed

We enjoyed our stay here. My husband and two aunts traveled to see my son in college and this was a great location! The place was as described and easy to get to. We enjoyed the area, and the coziness of the space. We'll stay here again if it is available when we travel to the area. People visiting UAB will find this place very accommodating and in very close proximity without getting on the highway at all.

Beautiful condo, convenient to entertainment, shopping, restaurants!

Camille Gamble was such a delightful owner! She was on top of things and had contacted us before we reached the property with her personal cell number and made sure that we knew to contact her if there were problems with the condo! Such a cozy place for family to stay for us all to be able to visit!

Such a adorable cozy condo! We enjoyed our stay so much!

Quiet location easy to get around Higland park and Downtown area. Lots of wonderful restaurants in local area. We stayed to see a play at BJCC very easy access and took us 15 mins to get there. Bed very comfortable and shower was amazing. Thank you Camille you were amazing and so easy to work with!

A gem in Birmingham!

If your have any reason to be in Birmingham, do not pass up the chance to stay at this cute, clean, comfortable, stylish and well-located condo. I cannot think of enough positive word to describe our stay. From our initial contact with the owner to our arrival to our wonderful 5 day stay, it was all perfect. My husband and I planned to use Birmingham as our home base to explore Birmingham, Huntsville, Tuscaloosa and several golf courses in the area. We had a little trouble finding the condo our first night as it was dark when we arrived and our GPS was a bit "confused", but after a few wrong turns, we found it...and what a welcome sight it was after 12 hours of driving. A cozy living room, comfy bed and a well equipped kitchen...we immediately fell in love with our home for the week. We ventured out to a nearby restaurant recommended by the owner (Rojo) and got a great dinner as well as some tips about what to do in the neighborhood. As a result of that info, we checked out the nearby Pepper Place Market on Saturday morning...a farmer's market with crafts, great local food and produce...before having a yummy breakfast at The Red Cat. During the week, we also dined at Babalu and Five and enjoyed them all. I mentioned our desire to play golf to the owner in an early email, and she even provided recommendations on the best courses to play. Again, we took her advice and were not disappointed. The Highland Park course is literally around the corner from the condo, and Ballantrae is a 40 minute drive out of the city. Both were beautiful courses and very enjoyable to play. We have had great experiences with past VRBO rentals, and this one kept our string alive. While we were packing (and listening to Linda Ronstadt and Eagles albums on the turntable!), we were already trying to figure out a reason to come back to the area to stay here again. Trust me, for a couples' getaway spot, it does not get any better than this!

Lovely Vacation Home

My daughter lives in Birmingham and I've been looking for a place to stay during my visits to see her. This condo is perfect. The decor is comfortable and lovely. We had everything we needed to make dinner a couple of evenings. The location is very convenient as a home base for exploring. The communication with the owner was perfect. I highly recommend this condo to anyone staying in Birmingham.

The place was like 10 minutes from downtown. Great place. Super comfortable. The bed was a dream and the place was awesome. Definite recommend.

We split time between Memphis, Tenn., and Birmingham. When we are not in Birmingham, we want to share our condo with people interested in renting it. We are both from north Alabama. Al is a University of Alabama graduate, and I am an Auburn University graduate. We have three teenaged daughters. I am a marketing vice president at a start-up employment screening firm, and Al is a full-time musician who spends 200 nights per year traveling with St. Paul and the Broken Bones as the band's organ player.

Our cute condo is perfect for the business traveler or intern. The condo is located in an historic building. It is close to several great restaurants in the area, and also very close to downtown and Five Points. It is almost walking distance to St. Vincent's Hospital. The bedroom and living room overlook the Highland Park Golf Course. It is quiet and comfortable. We love spending time there and hope you will, too.
