We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The accommodations were very comfortable and spotless. The deck and views were stunning and the hot tub was a welcome treat at the end of the day. Marco was very friendly, responsive and accommodating, willing to arrange as many or as few activities as we wanted. It was also a welcome surprise to see how well stocked the home was with drinks, snacks, wine, etc., which were available for purchase at a reasonable price. One less thing to worry about if you don't want to shop for those things. The home was very comfortable, but in truth we spent the majority of time on the deck because it was so well appointed and spacious. Again, the views were spectacular. When we did want to venture out, we were able to walk to town were there were plenty of restaurants, shopping and markets. Once there, you had direct beach access along with access to a ferry that made stops up and down the coast. Great for day trips! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again if I'm fortunate enough to make it back!

You have to start with the view because it takes your breath away. You can then move onto the “secret“ access to the ocean, which literally goes under the Amalfi coast highway. Wrapping it all up in a tight bow is the never ceasing hospitality that Marco and Donatello provide – every question is answered and a place you don’t know becomes a place you love.The Pizza class and the chef are worth every penny.I cannot recommend the villa highly enough.

Marco and Donatello have been absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, they were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. Whether it was booking private trips or arranging private boat taxis, they were always available and made everything seamless.Making reservations in this area can sometimes be a challenge, but Marco and Donatello handled everything with ease and made it happen. From check-in to check-out everything went smoothly. Marco was there to take our luggage to the unit and went over everything including all the options avaliable for extra events. The unit was beautiful and the deck was amazing! Marco helped us with transfers to and from the train station, reservations at restaurants and an amazing boat tour of the Amalfi coast. It was everything we hoped for and more!

The property is as advertised. The ultimate highlight is the veranda overlooking the sea. We spent the majority of the time out there taking in the breathtaking views. We also really liked that it was close to a smaller, less crowded town.

Almafi in May at Villa Maestrale

We could not have been happier with our stay at Villa Maestrale. The property and host support were exceptional! From arrival to departure, Marco & Donatella were superb hosts, tending to our every need. They were responsive to our requests each & every day. They arranged transportation to & from the villa as needed which was so very important to my group since three in our party of 7 were in their 80's, so we needed the daily driver support. Marco and his team of drivers were there to help and make our trip so very delightful and stress-free. They also arranged some wonderful dinners off site, and we enjoyed some lovely dinners at our villa which was such a treat. Pizza one night and full course dinner another! A lovely boat ride to Capri was a hit with everyone & we have amazing pictures, of course!The villa was perfect for our group of 7 and we can't say enough about the beautiful views from our deck & balcony. I told Marco it was so much better in person than in pictures! So clean and stocked when we arrived, too. It was clear that they paid attention to the details, ensuring we were happy and had all we needed. Nothing was too small for Marco and Donatella when it came to supporting our stay.Thanks so much to Marco and Donatella for sharing their beautiful villa with our family/friends and helping to make it a trip we will always remember & treasure. Absolute Perfection

Marco and his family have provided a beautiful home along the Amalfi coast in the small and quaint town of Minori. The pride of ownership shows and there has not been a thing that has been missed. Communication was fantastic from the moment we booked and all the way until the moment we left. The photos do Not do much justice for what the property actually is. Cleanliness is impeccable and the view is beyond stunning. Marco seems to know everyone in town and loves to share his knowledge as well as his home town with you. The mozzarella making and pizza was an amazing experience that we will not forget! Thank you Marco for an unforgettable trip, for your hospitality and for being an AMAZING host. We can not wait to return!

Amalfi Villa Maestrale

Best week ever! Villa Maestrale was the perfect venue for our family & friends multi birthday celebration! Can’t thank Marco & Donatella enough for curating the perfect week! They arranged everything from drivers for transportation to and from airport & train station to a private chef for a birthday dinner at the Villa on the patio, to an amazing pizza cooking class with an award winning pizza chef to a private boat (including bottomless Prosecco) to the Isle of Capri). Great location with unmatched views just a 5-10 minute walk to Minori town center.

Villa Maestrale- Minori- Lovely Town

Let me start by saying that we were stunned by the breathtaking views, spaciousness of outdoor common area. The rooms were comfortable and showers were very nice. Next we really enjoyed the home-made art (ceramics) that decorated the beautiful home. Marco was very hospitable, ensured he was there to greet us, and spent the morning with us at a local artist’s studio who led us in a ceramics class complete with lemon spritzers and snacks. Most memorable was the traditional Good Friday l processing that most of the town participated in-all lights extinguished-only candle lit. We had a lot of fun exploring nearby coastal towns of Māori and Positano and enjoyed the ferry rides. We found Minori to be especially charming with local restaurant owners who were very engaged with their customers. The only advice I give is to get extra clarity on the extras so there are no surprises. Those extras are so lovely but clarity is important. Marco was very helpful with so many things-transportation, suggesting activities, and even letting us in when part of our group was locked out. We had the time of our life and most definitely recommend to other travelers.

Beautiful home, excellent location, gracious hosts

The title says it all. Villa Maestrale is a wonderful property, with a spectacular view and with hosts that couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating. We (family of 6 spanning 3 generations) loved our stay and truly hope to come back some day. Thanks Marco and Donatella for an awesome experience!

Amalfi coast 2025

Wonderful views from the big deck with a jacuzzi. The place is clean and bright! Marco provided wonderful service! Very responsive! Impressed with Dyson hair dryers, parts of the floors were heated, nice cafe maker and umbrellas for all when it rained. The refrig is well stocked with cold beverages. His wine selection is unbelievable.

Perfect

Our family of 6 (children ages 6-12) had the perfect stay at this beautiful property. We appreciated the hospitality of the owners, Marco and Donatella, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We had Marco book the pizza and mozzarella making class for our family on the patio and it was an incredible experience in the most beautiful setting. We also really enjoyed the easy walking access to the beautiful coastal town of Minori which had everything we needed for restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy, and shopping. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return again in the future! Thank you Marco and Donatello!

Great sized apartment for a family of 4

Marco was very warm & welcoming & booked dinner for us on our first night. It was lovely to have a spacious apartment with such a large terrace overlooking the azure waters. Sadly Minori as a town is quite dirty, but it is closer to Naples (as we were driving) so that is why we chose to stay there. The property has a garage which is on a blind corner & quite dangerous if you are not a confident driver. The garage entrance is also quite narrow so you don’t have the luxury of being able to pull in & out if you don’t get your reversing angle right on the first go particularly in a mid sized SUV. There is a tiny lift making it easy to get suitcases to the apartment. Shower heads were not good & needed replacing & there was mould in all the showers. Beds were comfortable & it was great to have a washing machine & dryer after 3 weeks of travelling. Easy drive to Ravello & Amalfi

Absolutely Magical Family Holiday

Our stay in Minori was unbelievably perfect in every way, very much thanks to Marco and Donatella. First, the villa is exceptional. The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms immaculate, and the views from the terrace are breathtaking. The extra attention spent on details in this villa is impressive. Marco stocks a variety of wines, beer, drinks, snacks, and grocery staples, so when you arrive with a big family, you don't have to forage for food right away. Marco also made sure we had transportation to and from the ferry and beach and arranged transport for numerous activities we had planned. This is no small ask during high season and with 9 people in tow! Marco not only made sure we got around safely but also took care of details such as reserving beach chairs, recommending and making reservations for dinner, and a host of other services that would have taken precious time away from our family if we had to do it ourselves. We HIGHLY recommend that you do the Pizza Making Class, and request Nousika - she is a delightful and talented chef! I have never had pizza in so many ways in one sitting, and it was all so delicious! We also recommend the San Franscesco Winery tour, a hidden gem not far from Minori where you can learn to cook Italian and taste wonderful local wines. You really must get this villa - it is more than a place to stay, thanks to our hosts. We can't thank Marco and Donatella enough!

Wedding in Minori

Beautiful villa, incredible views, and a host and hostess who could not be more accommodating! Our daughter was married on the property and Marco made sure that everything was perfect! We used Nausica Ronca, his private chef, for the wedding dinner and the food was fabulous! We would strongly recommend Marco and Donatello to anyone coming to the area.

Spectacular host and villa - our favorite vacation!

Words can not express how lovely this villa and its hosts, Marco and Donatella, are! The villa is absolutely stunning with the most spectacular view of the sea. The terrace is huge with plenty of comfortable loungers, outdoor dining space, outdoor kitchen, and hot tub. We loved staying in Minori (compared to the more crowded, hectic towns like Positano and Amalfi) where we had easy access to everything, but could retreat to the peace and charm of Minori. Marco and Donatella are fabulous hosts! Donatella was so helpful prior to our arrival, booking our transportation, private cooking classes, and a private boat. Marco is now our dear friend. He took such good care of our family. He takes such pride in ensuring his guests have a memorable and wonderful experience on the Amalfi Coast. He is a warm and loving human being. When you arrive, the villa is stocked with plenty of food and drinks at a minimal cost if you are tired from a long day of travel, or the markets are a quick 10 minute walk away. In fact, everything (ferry, shops, restaurants) in Minori are a quick 10 minute walk away. We were a family of 5, with 3 teenage and young adult children; my kids said this was their most favorite vacation we have taken yet. There is a reason why Villa Maestrale has many repeat guests - it is a stunning villa, with spectacular hosts, in a dreamy spot on the Amalfi Coast. We can't wait to return!

Paradise in Italy!

My family and I could not have found this a more perfect location for our vacation! The views, the layout, the amenities, cleanliness / design…. did I mention the views!! A beautiful place

What a beautiful place to spend some time on the Amalfi coast. Within walking distance to Minori and although the streets are narrow it really was very safe to walk to town. This place is very well appointed and, if you’re a wine lover, has some excellent selection to try. Extra of course and although we didn’t drink any we did enjoy the sodas available. The porch overlooking the sea is awesome. They’re even some stairs you can take down to the ocean, though it might be 200’ or more. Would love to come back some day.

Wonderful Vacation on Amalfi Coast

We took our family of 7 on a 4-night stay at Villa Maestrale in April, 2024. It is an amazing property with breathtaking views. The host, Marco, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. When he heard that my grandson was celebrating his 18th birthday while we were there, he said he would need to have a cake and started asking him about what he wanted. He ordered the cake for us and delivered it on my grandson's birthday. We also contacted him to help us find a photographer for family photos, which he did. We also had him set up a Mozzarella making class at the villa, followed by a great dinner prepared by a chef. It all made for a very memorable family vacation.

Best of the best ….

The villa was absolutely perfect. Marco and his family run a smooth ship, always there if you need anything. They live on property, but extremely respectful of your privacy at all times. I would but hesitate to rent this villa. It is run like a well oiled machine as it is his business. And you’ll pay. It’s not cheap but worth it! There are several options for purchase of wine, liquors, water and soda so you are never without. A lovely covered area on the patio with enclosed sides allowed us to enjoy the outside even in not so good weather. A total pleasure! Thank you so much.

Wonderful

This property and town were amazing. Marco is on point doing everything he can to assist you with everything you need, he is dailed in to this area like no other. If Marco sends you, you are treated like family everywhere. The outdoor space in this house is 5 stars! If you want a view in Amalfi surrounded by small town wonderful people, stay here! We were 5 to 20 minutes walk or drive to everything. Everyone we met in this city was wonderful from the small coffee shop to the wonderful castle dining! Do not miss the walk up the stairs to Ravello. Ciao

Wonderful stay in Minori/Ravello!!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Villa Maestrale, Marco and Donatella's beautiful villa on the Amalfi coast. The pictures on the web don't do it justice. The villa is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with lots of nice touches. There was plenty of room for our party of six (two parents and four adult children), with four bedrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and a lovely, light-filled living room. The villa sits overlooking the water, approximately five minutes walk from Minori and down the hill from Ravello. Both towns are beautiful, with many lovely shops and restaurants. If you are traveling in late November as we did, just know that there are fewer restaurants open, but there was plenty to do and see. Marco and his family were warm, gracious, communicative hosts before, during, and after our stay. With little advance notice, Marco arranged transportation for the six of us to Pompeii for the day. Filippo, our driver, was a great guide to the region, with excellent information and conversation, and flexible with our changing schedule. While at Villa Maestrale, we walked the "Path of the Lemons" to Maiori, hiked up the hill to Ravello, and explored Minori with lovely local encounters all-around. We also spent plenty of time enjoying the villa, relaxing in the massage chair and hot tub, reading on the gorgeous terrace, and watching the moon rise over the Mediterranean. All in all a relaxing stay with warm hosts at a beautiful villa in a stunning location.
