Everything was perfect. We were traveling for our son’s wedding. Plenty of room for mom and some of other children to stay with us. We found the house clean and tidy! Plenty of pillows!

Son getting married

I had a few questions re:reviews I had read. She was quick to respond & issues had already been resolved. Houses are extremely close to one another, stores conveniently close by. Difficult to control A/C unit, unable to get it cooler. Fans in BR are either off/on turn regulate. Pool lovelyExtra chairs in garage. Overall very enjoyable

Perfect for our family

We came in to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from the University of Tampa. The location is perfect Spartan parents- 20 minutes east of the fairgrounds. All one floor so perfect for the older family members with nice bedroom options. Only challenge was outdoor furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Loved the open layout and pool. View of pond was nice.

Wonderful stay, great pool

My husband and I stayed here with my sister and grandparents for a week and we had a lovely time! The host was very responsive and the house was very tidy. We absolutely loved hanging out in the pool and watching the gorgeous sunsets. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Tampa. Only 2 small things to keep in mind if you’re wanting to stay: The patio furniture is quite low to the ground and the cushions are a bit worn. My grandparents are in their 80s/90s, so they found it a bit uncomfortable and difficult to get in and out of the seats. The rest of us were okay though, so as long as you don’t have any motility issues you’re probably fine. We also tried to do laundry our last evening before going home, and the drier was taking over 3 hours to dry one small load. We had an early flight so we ended up just putting the damp clothes in our suitcase because we couldn’t stay up any longer. So if you need to do laundry, just make sure you don’t wait until the last minute like we did! Like I said though overall they were very small issues that would not prevent us from staying again!

Overall A Solid Place to Stay

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future. The pictures and listing were spot on and you can’t beat the location in Brandon - 5 minutes or less to all kinds of restaurants, shopping, and the highways. We did, though, have a few things we wish had been better and would recommend the owner’s fix. The dryer wasn’t working at all. Had to run it three times and then gave up trying to dry towels. We also wish there were a few additional towels because there were 8 of us showering and swimming with no way to quickly dry towels. The doors are need new sealing - it was easy to see why the temperature inside was 78 by the end of the day - my daughter actually thought the front door was cracked open multiple times because of the light coming through. Lastly, the master shower is worn and water temp was finicky. We also wish the master ceiling fan had a pull chain because we couldn’t adjust the speed and really wished we could turn it up with temps in the 90’s.

Brandon Home

This home was a great size for our family. It offered the amenities we needed, but unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken and the dryer was on the fritz. The hosts did purchase a new dishwasher and installed it while we were there. They also purchased a new dryer, but it wasn't installed yet. We only travel with a few sets of clothes to conserve space, so we did have to use the washer and dryer pretty consistently, so it was difficult with a dryer that takes about three hours to dry a load. The host did look at it to try to increase the efficiency. While the house has many amenities, we did run into a few issues. The master bath shower takes about five minutes to get hot water. On the other hand, the guest bathroom shower was well updated, so that was the one we primarily used. There were burn holes in the patio furniture, but the view out the back patio was incredible allowing for us to see a dozen varieties of birds while there. The home comes with beach chairs and pool noodles, so that was nice as well. Check in process was smooth.

Lovely view

We liked the lanai & watching the birds on the pond. The sunset views were very pretty. We stayed 2 weeks and cooked several meals - the kitchen was well stocked.Location was close to family, shopping, and activities. I recommend this very nice home in a nice neighborhood.

Not the cleanest house in neighborhood

Close to Tampa, still takes an hour to get to beach. House is okay with plenty of room. Although it is not the cleanest. We had used sheets on bed in one of the rooms. Contacted owner and they send crew to fix that. There is plenty of dust in corners, behind TV and other areas. Will look for something else next time.

Family getaway

The house overall is clean and nice. Pool and lake view are house highlights. Lots of bedrooms and closet space for guests. TVs and internet all worked well. Only issues we had is the house did not stay cool. By the end of the day the house was 78 degrees which was not a comfortable sleeping temperature even with ceiling fans. Also, the patio seating seemed older, was low to the ground and not cushioned well which was disappointing given how much time we spent outside. Super easy check in and communication with owners was good.

Perfect for Us!

The house was perfect for our family outing. Our grandgirll was in a national cheer competition downtown Tampa. We knew we didn't want to stay in the hassle of all that so we chose this great spot. This house was 20-25 minutes from anywhere we needed to be and a perfect distance for so many outstanding eating places. Then there was the pool! It was perfect although a little cool for the kids and we grown ups loved watching the sunset from the patio while the tiki torches blazed in the background. We would stay here again if we needed to be in the area again.

Nice roomy place !!

Very spacious home with quite a bit nearby to do within a short drive. Owners were very responsive to questions we had. I would stay here again. Especially during warmer weather to enjoy the pool more.

Family Trip

I had my family of 5 on vacation. The house was fantastic, beautiful and well taken care of. We had a great time. Lots of space ...the only thing i would have loved is a little more seating inside and out. But i cannot complain about anything else. Awesome place. Thank you for letting us stay.

Spring Break 2024

Great property with enough room for the entire family. Location is close to Busch Gardens and about 30-45 minutes to Clearwater beach … pool isn’t heated so evening swims were on the cool side but it was still better then being in the snow. Communication with the host was prompt, instructions were clear, house provided enough of the essentials as well. We were very happy with our stay and would consider staying again.

Week in Brandon

We loved our week in Brandon. The house was as depicted in the pictures. It was clean, very comfortable and the location was excellent with everything needed close by. Would have liked a heated pool. The dishwasher needs to be secured as it tips when the drawer is pulled out. All-in-all we really enjoyed our week. Thanks to the hosts!
