I was helping a charity down the street so the location was ideal. There was a coffee shop walking distance so that was convenient.

I was helping a charity down the road. It was the very conveniently located a block from the charity. The cold pool was pleasant on the 90 degree days.

Home and pool were clean. Host very responsive to our needs.Near a busy road but traffic noise wasn't that noticeable. Conveniently located near grocery store and restaurants.

The house was perfect. I forgot to pack a blanket and was pleasantly surprised to find one waiting on the bed upon my arrival. Little details like that make all the difference.

Visit with Grannie at Rehab

My adult son, his girlfriend, and I enjoyed the home during our stay. The pool was a refreshing respite at the end of each day. I will definitely request another stay in the home on my next visit.

Girls getaway

Overall the stay was excellent:) Several towels had a strong musty dirty odor and had to be wash before using. There are no extra pillows in the home and as an adult 1 pillow on my bed just wasn’t enough! There were only a couple rolls of Toilet and we had to go buy toilet paper and paper towels. The fainting couch cushion was so broke down and dingy looking we covered it with a blanket before sitting on it- definitely needs to be replaced. We had 5 adults and it had to be used but was SO uncomfortable!!!

Valrico Visit

Very good location near many stores and restaurants. The house is very clean and was stocked with linens, towels, kitchen appliances etc. It is at a very busy intersection so getting in and out can be tricky depending on what time of day it is. That said, it is still mostly quiet inside even with the amount of traffic. Enjoyed coffee by the pool in the mornings! Plenty of closet space and large rooms and bathrooms.

Getaway

The house fit our needs. The location is on a busy street so you can hear cars and trucks drive by at all hours of the night. Inside the house, some things were broken like a towel bar, mirror, fan in the primary bedroom but overall it worked for us. The kids loved the pool for late night swim!

Very Comfortable Stay

Everyone in the family was very satisfied with their accommodations. Everything was nice and cozy. The owners were very hospitable, checking to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend a stay at this spacious house.

2024 trip

The house itself was clean, it was a little upsetting the pool was NOT kid friendly, it was super cold and deep my 7 year old couldnt leave the steps with out an adult as it went right over his head. I alos wish they would have mentioned the house was right off a busy road.

Sparse amenities

Pool non operational stagnant. One wash cloth per bathroom. Not many dishes or coffee cups. Internet was extremely slow. Streaming tv was buffering constantly. Grill outside was non usable. Poison ivy vines growing on top of pool screen and fence line where grill is located. Traffic noise is very bad at 4:30 am. Very close to road.

City Ranch more like House of Horror

The oven was filthy. It caused the stove to smoke when used and set off the smoke detector and the microwave didn't work. The pool was nasty, filled with bugs and debris. Notified the manager of the property with the issues and provided pictures but they were disrespectful and ignored issues. They also refused to compensate the stay. The location and placement of the propety is terrible along with the very limited parking space. The safety of parking and leaving the property is dangerous due to the high traffic in that location and not easy to leave the property without potential accident. In addition, items that were left out during our absence away from the property were moved or disgarded and television settings were changed which all gave indication that someone else was in the property during our absence. I will not choose this property again. Poor up keep and terrible customer service!!!

Great stay

This was the second time we stayed at the City Ranch. Beautiful home and great vacation. Our son and his family, including 3 grandchildren live in Brandon so this location is perfect. This home is great and our grandchildren loved the pool and staying overnight again with grandma & papa. We appreciated the owner contacting us a couple times throughout our stay to be sure our stay was comfortable. The pool and deck are a welcoming feature of this property that adding some new cushions to the outdoor furniture may be a good improvement to the pool area. Also a blender in order to make some fun summer fruity drinks. Despite these things we will likely stay at city ranch again in the future! Thank you for a great family vacation!!

Good spring break

The house was great, the kids loved having the pool for the times we weren't out doing stuff. The owner checked in with us a couple times throughout our stay via text to make sure all was well.

Location okay, amenities non-existent

The location and house itself is okay. The house is on a main road but feels off the beaten track. Grocery stores and shopping within minutes. That’s where the positives end. On first glance, it seems like a very nice property. It has a private pool, updated appliances, etc. but this house is severely lacking as a short or long term stay. There were LITERALLY 3 glasses in the cupboards. No hand soap in the bathrooms. Having a private pool is great, but it was not clean and no pool towels. The couch cushions were dirty and stained. There was broken glass found in a bedroom and the bedding was the most basic they could muster. We stripped the sheets upon leaving and the mattresses and even mattress covers were dirty. Overall, you’re better off staying at a hotel because this house does not give the amenities you would expect of a vacation home or vrbo lisitng. The listing and even walking in the door looks good, but as soon as you start settling in and trying to function in the space you quickly realize that you have nothing you need. It was a very disappointing long weekend but I’m glad that’s all it was because I couldn’t imagine staying here longer.

Amazing weekend getaway

Even though this house is on a busy intersection, sitting in on the back patio by the pool you hear the cars but it isn’t that bad. Very relaxing. Love the decor of this house, had a very calming, peace about it.

5 STARS!!

My husband and I stayed in this house for a week. We came to Tampa to visit our son, DIL, and grandchildren. We have a new beautiful granddaughter we met also. This home was exactly what we were looking for. We had a short sleep over with our grandchildren and they enjoyed the pool and had so much fun with grandma & papa. We will be visiting Tampa often now that our son and family live there, and this will be our “go-to” rental without a doubt. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Needed to buy charcoal for grill. Needed to buy toilet paper, not enough for 5 adults.

Mattress stained. Oven filthy. On loud main road. Pool dirty. Decor pretty. Nice bathrooms. Wouldn't stay here again. Coffee pot didn't work. Refrigerator dirty. We paid for cleaning services. Nothing to clean barbecue with. No dish towels. Dishwasher was loose. Wall microwave didn't work. Not sure but 1 guest shares he left cell phone on table in lanai, when we came home from being out it was gone. Owner sent me a check out time for 11am and then changed time the day before to 10am. Don't recommend this place at all.

Spring Break

Our overall experience was good with quick responses back from the owner. The grill was dirty and we couldn’t use it. The house was nicely decorated but overall dusty light fixtures. We stripped the sheets as requested and the bedding below was stained. The house butted up to a busy road and was pretty loud.

City Ranch

Wonderful stay in a really nice neighborhood. Everything is walking distance or a short car ride away. We all enjoyed the pool and the backyard, we had great family time back there.

Trip to winternationals

Owner asked our ETA. We asked if 2:30 was ok, he replied check in is at 3:00. Ok, we will be there at 3:00. His reply was after 3:00. First problem, the grill was not usable. The bottom was rusted out. Not something that had just happened. So, we go to the oven. Ummmm, not usable! Very nasty and I’m not on vacation to clean an oven. Beware when u take off the bed sheets for departure, yuck!!! Everything was fixable. We bought a portable grill and didn’t see the mattress until we stripped the bed. So, it is true! What you don’t know won’t hurt you 🙈 The house is right on a very busy street. Not as noisy as you would think but, sleeping in is a little tough with the early morning traffic.
