Whistling Kite Cottage está situado en la cima de un acantilado con vistas al hermoso río Murray. La cabaña se encuentra en un viñedo en una zona tranquila y apartada. Recientemente ha sido renovado y sería adecuado para parejas que deseen relajarse, caminar por los arbustos, disfrutar del río y estar cerca de la naturaleza.

El municipio de Waikerie está a solo 7 km de distancia con 2 supermercados y la cabaña es una base adecuada para visitar Riverland, incluido el centro de vinos y humedales, la estación de Banrock, que está a solo 20 minutos en coche. La casa cuenta con una cocina completa, aire acondicionado de ciclo inverso, estufa de leña, ventiladores de techo, TV, barbacoa, terraza al aire libre, dos habitaciones con camas queen y dos baños (separados por la sala de estar).

We had an amazing stay here. The cottage is in an incredible spot surrounded by lovely views, and Kym's hospitality went above and beyond. I would absolutely visit again!

A great place to relax looking out over the Murray

Peace and quiet, a great view over the Murray, and a really well set up and spacious place place for the 3 of us to stay. Can't recommend Whistling Kite Cottage highly enough.

Great cottage for weekend getaway

Cottage was in a fantastic secluded location within a vineyard overlooking the Murray from above the cliffs. Great view. Cottage was very comfortable, modern and well fitted out. Would highly recommend.

Exceptional Accommodation

The cottage fitted our requirements perfectly, with a location and outlook that cannot be faulted. The cottage comes equipped with all necessary items, including plenty of cooking equipment and utensils. We loved everything about our stay. Highly recommended.

Beautiful once again

Second time staying at the cottage, and we absolutely love it here. The cottage is very clean and the wood heater makes for a very cosy night in the winter when you can't sit outside and get lost in the magnificent view of the Murray. We will definitely be back for a third time. Thanks for sharing this lovely place of yours :)

Great Stay and with Added Value

Apart from the great view, and great accomodations cleaniness and comfort - The hosts goes over and above what is normally expected! The Complimentary bottle of wine, the scents, the wood for the outside fire and indoor heater, all the condiments and general kitchen needs all there!! Not to mention the electric blankets! Only thing I would have wanted extra was a larger bin ;o)

Peaceful & Relaxing

We stayed for a week at the cottage and couldn't have asked for anything more relaxing, I could have stayed forever. The cottage was beautifully clean and very comfortable with everything you need to make the most of your break. The views are wonderful, we spent many hours on the deck just relaxing and enjoying the wildlife. We will most definitely be returning.

Perfect place to unwind and slow down

Our stay was so lovely! The location itself was perfect with the view over the river, but the cleanliness, set up and feel of the house added a whole other level to our stay! It was the perfect place to unwind and slow down. We'd love to come back again.

A spectacularly located cottage overlooking the River Murray in a peaceful, quiet vineyard. The cottage is beautifully presented with so many thoughtful details. Kym and Chris were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Relaxing and beautiful

Lovey accommodation.....perfect for a short getaway. All the little touches are noticed...Wine & Chocolates on arrival...fire set up for lighting....everything clearly marked. Views are magnificent. Beds great....pleanty of everything.

Pure Perfection

Whistling Kite is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed at. The photo's, whilst totally accurate, don't convey the feelings of tranquility and peace that we felt while staying here. The view of the river is breathtaking, the decor is just lovely, the bed is so comfortable, the fire is amazing, kitchen and bathrooms have everything you need. Hosts Kym and Chris are some of the loveliest people you could ever wish to meet and their thoughtfulness and warmth truly shine through in this lovingly restored accomodation. The sunrises, birds, stars, being surrounded by vines and nature made it a more than perfect stay. We can't wait to stay again!

River therapy

A wonderful and comfortable long weekend escape from the stress of 2022 life as it currently is. Breakfast on the front deck is a must as is sitting out there whenever the need takes you. And if the weather is less cooperative, there are big windows and a comfy couch that you can chill on and simply take in the river view while watching the myriad of bird life chase around the garden. Little touches like a cupboard with a variety of teas and pantry basics was wonderful to discover as well as the wine and chocolates included for us to enjoy. A well equipped kitchen means you can happily stay in and cook, even though the cottage is close enough to Waikerie should you want to head out. Most importantly, the bed is comfy and the shower hot. Looking forward to returning with friends sometime in the future.

Glorious!!

Jan 28th - Feb 1st 2022 Brilliant! couldn’t ask for a better location overlooking the river, spectacular!! Hosts Kym & Chris were most hospitable giving a friendly vibe welcoming us from day one. The charming cottage stay was amazing providing breath-taking panoramic views surrounded by nature from sunrise to sunset, sensational. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect setting, wonderful stay

We spent two wonderful nights at this very well cared for, and beautifully presented property. As soon as we arrived we were blown away by the location!! Superb views, absolutely magical setting. The property itself is very comfortable and very charming. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short, and our hosts were very accommodating. We could have easily spent weeks here, and will be back in the future. Thank you for a lovely and relaxing stay.
