The whole family loved this house! Very short walk to both the beach and the cafe. The hot tub was perfect temp and the fenced yard was perfect for the dogs.

Loved the proximity to the beach!

We had a fantastic seafood boil and built sandcastles on the beach before enjoying a fire and watching the sunset while eating s’mores. Perfect place for our family get together.

Beautiful house

We had a short stay (wish it was longer) at this beautiful house. The amenities were exactly what we needed and the house was well appointed. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to all of our friends.

Beach get away

Nice property, but a little worn down. Kitchen is stocked, but not high quality pots and pans. Nice location with some privacy from neighbors while being plenty close to beach. Very easy drive to aquarium in Newport and Outlet mall in Lincoln City. Definitely recommend.

Depot bay beach house

Beds old and worn out, hot tub jets didn’t work properly. Dog poop from previous renters in yard, parking not as expected. Reported hot tub issue and not resolved by manager.

Family Time

We were having so much fun, I had left in a hurry and forgotten some clothes. I appreciate EVERONE at Meredith for helping to locate my items and the easy returning process. I had joked about keeping the clothes there... cuzzzzzzzzz we definitely will be back! <3

Great trip!

Enjoyed ourselves and house was in a great location for us. The only con was the heat. We arrived in the evening and it was so cold in the house and some rooms have cadet style heating however the living room didn’t work. They did have a couple space heaters but the breaker kept tripping. Took all night to get the house warmed up. Just wish someone would have turned a bit of heat on before we arrived.

Nice home with cleaning issues

House was nice for our family. One bedroom was unfortunately not usable due to a strong urine smell. Called about the issue but concern was dropped. We ended up throwing the area rug on front porch but smell was still in hard wood floors. We never used that room and that changed the sleeping for our kids to the couch in upper loft. Meredith lodging responded poorly during our stay and then it took me calling for two weeks to get minimal of compensation. Customer service was horrible.

Perfect getaway!

This was my second time here, love this hideaway! Well stocked with pots/pans, utensils, etc… They have lots of towels and a few things for Fido, I usually bring my own. It’s a 5 min walk the beach access with stairs then leading to the beach. 1issue we had was the heater didn’t work in the front room, bought some logs and the place was toasty the rest of the stay, 2nd issue is the steps from the hot tub should have a new layer of sand paper strips because our friend slipped on the stairs when getting out of the hot tub and maybe a hand rail of some sorts!? Despite those simple easy to fix issues I will return time and time again. My dog is named Bella so we call it her beach, lol, the yard is perfect for our fur babies! Until next time 💖

Fun cute house.

We really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. Fenced yard for our dog, hot tub works great and is super clean. We were checked up on to make sure we were good to go. Likely returning!

Great location to the beach

Nice place, outside was great. Love the fire place inside. Kitchen was well equipped to make meals. TV’s were only steaming and no instructions how to use.

Great place for pets & people

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The outdoor space is wonderful & private with a solid fence. It rained the entire time we there so we didn’t get to spend a lot of time outside but did take advantage of the hot tub under cover. We would love to go back and sit around the fire pit & eat at the cute table set they have. This was one of the best properties we have stayed at with our Great Dane. Pet owners know the importance of a secure yard and the solid fence was great. We could let her out off leash, a plus when it’s raining. The only improvement we could offer outside is for guests to be able to enter the house from the deck instead of the side door especially in the rain. Also would be helpful to know the code was for the side door and not the main deck entrance. We had a little panic when the code wouldn’t work but did figure out to use the side door. Inside the property was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. It was just the two of us and we chose to stay upstairs with the larger bath & family room. What a great family space with gaming entertainment. FYI: there is no cable service so if you want to watch tv & have a streaming service remember to bring your password & remember to delete it from the tv before leaving. The neighborhood was quiet & we loved the house. We would definitely stay again. Also for everyone that travels with their dogs, please be respectful of others properties. We always bring sheets to cover furniture & beds. We do our best to keep our dog off of furniture but sometimes when your back is turned...also we have a very large dog and just walking by a sofa can result in dog hair on a surface. We also keep doors closed to bedrooms not used. No reason for extra cleaning. We never leave our dog in a house or yard unattended. If we leave she leaves with us. And always clean up after your dog. Respect for others properties is what makes it possible to stay at great properties like this.

Very Clean and comfy

Great place to stay with great walking access to the beach. Hot tub was nice as was the backyard. Had everything I needed in the kitchen and the BBQ worked great. We enjoyed the fireplace. Overall, great place and I would stay again... A few things that made it a 4 star for me...I must not have read directions, but the keypad lock is on the side door in the backyard, not the front door...Finding that in a downpour wasn't fun. The HOA got mad that I parked in the front parking spot...Have to park in back apparently. Not a lot of parking options. Main TV does not work...Couldn't get any channels besides 1 black and white channel.

Great place for dog!

Loved the large fenced in yard for our dog. The hot tub and wood burning fireplace were perfect for cold winter nights. Large TV upstairs isn't hooked up to caBle TV which was a disappointment to those wanting football. Small TV downstairs rarely worked. Parking said it was for 3 cars but 3 wouldn't fit. Minor problems though. Close to beach and whales were spouting! We will rent here again.

Amazing home away from home

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Depoe Bay! This house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy a few days at the beach. It's just a short walk down to the beach and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a busy day.
