Fun Family Retreat

This home is convenient to Clemson, quiet beautiful lake view, fun family getaway! We were able to cook our Thanksgiving meal there for our Clemson daughter, friends, and our older daughter with the grands! Everyone had a wonderful time!

Lake House (Be cautious of the owner)

The property was nice but the owner of the property was a piece of work. He was caught walking through the house without anyone's permission. He made claims that things were broken or messed up that were already like that when we arrived. We had several boats and trucks so we needed a lot of parking. Once we arrived we were told we could not park in certain places which was not listed or told to use upon arriving. If I would have know these things we would have booked elsewhere.

Lake Hartwell Vacation

House was located in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. The house was exactly as pictured, interior and exterior. Nicely furnished, extremely clean, with all the amenities needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The covered dock was really nice to enjoy swimming and boating along with having a ramp on the property. We enjoyed our vacation and appreciate the use of this fabulous house. Hope to be back again!

Great home base for Clemson games!

The property was great location to easily get to Clemson and had plenty of room for our 2 families with beautiful view right on the water! The owner was super kind and helpful and he’s actually updated the home a lot that the pics don’t show yet! Nice new flooring and bedding, etc. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay!

Great stay on the lake at great lake front home.

Our family stayed at this home over Independence Day weekend. The property is clean inside and out and well maintained throughout.. It was more roomy than expected and easily accommodated our extended family of 10, including four grand children. It is located on a large deep water cove that allowed us to have plenty of room for water sports, even on a very busy holiday weekend. We met the owner who lives close by and we found Mr. Wiley to be neither intrusive nor remiss during our visit. Having him close by is clearly an advantage. Our entire family enjoyed our stay. Perfect for Clemson home games

The property was clean, nice view of the lake, outside was very sloped down to the water, nice fire pit adjacent to the house, gas fireplace that we did not use and screen porch overlooking the lake. The bedrooms were spacey and very comfortable and individual baths were great. The owner checked in to make sure that everything was as expected and was very, very nice. Only non-positive thing that I can say is that the Tigers lost to the Gamecocks on Saturday.....bummer!

Pretty Nice Overall, but Pricing On the High Side

Overall the property was nice and delivered on expectations. We thought it was a a little over-priced given the time of year when we could not enjoy the lake. Some minor nitpicking: There was a clog in the masterbath which created a slippery shower. We also noticed several dead roachs in kitchen. This is why the cleanliness rating was only two stars. Overall the property was clean. We had some difficulty getting into the rental (NOTE: This was due to my own error NOT the owner.), but we had challenges connecting with the property manager to answer questions.

Hidden Gem

I rarely leave reviews but I have to comment on this property. We had a great stay! The property was clean and larger than I expected. The kitchen had everything we needed and the view of the lake was gorgeous. The owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I highly recommend! We will definitely be staying again.

lake house

House was nice but ran out of propane for the gas grill and spares were empty also. Lots of cob webs on dock and outside furniture needed a good cleaning. Otherwise was a great location on the lake, close to major interstate and would stay there again.

Stayed here to compete at the Bassmaster high school National fishing tournament.

Me, my son, and his fishing partner stayed for the week for the Bassmaster high school National fishing tournament. It was great to have the space to rig our tackle and relax after 10 hours on the water.

Fabulous Location

The house and property were exactly as described. (Actually, better than the photos.) The home is older, but clean and we had everything we needed. Nice bedrooms and baths. The owner, Mr. Wiley, stopped by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The house is conveniently located off Exit 11. It is close to gas stations and grocery stores. Having your own boat ramp was a plus. The boat slip is covered, so the dock does receive some shade. Camp Creek/Seneca River is a lovely area and you are close to Cemetery Island and a short boat ride to Portman Marina. We had a very relaxing weekend.

Quiet, clean and relaxing

Nothing to take away form the serenity of the lake. Very comfortable. Evrything we needed worked. We used the grill but didn't need the fire pit in all the heat.

So much fun

This house is wonderful for a football weekend. We were so busy we didn’t get to enjoy the lake but hope to plan another trip soon! Ernie is very personable and easy to talk with! House is older but has everything you could possibly need. Our family had very memorable time! We are so thankful!

Labor Day Fun

This property was perfect for a relaxing long weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! Ernie was such a gracious and friendly host. We spent the days on the water and then relaxed on the screened in porch while watching the sunset-Beautiful!
