It is the cutest farm feel. We stayed on the back porch overlooking an open field with sheep. Tuco was the best dog and so sweet. Such a relaxing place. The breakfast fixings were such a nice touch.

Lone Wolf Ranch

Lone Wolf Ranch is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. We loved sitting on the back porch looking out at the open field and gazing at the stars. Looking forward to our next stay.

Our favorite hill country get away

We love this property! It is so beautiful and relaxing, all just 10 minutes from town. Another wonderful stay amongst the sheep. We'll be back for sure.

Lovely place to stay

We were delighted to be the 1st guest to stay at Lone Wolf Ranch. It is a beautiful place to stay, the view from the windows is a delight to for your eyes. Gary & Sarah are great host! We hope to stay here again. We also love Tuco & the sheep.

Lovely get away

We enjoyed staying here, but our dog Bailey loved it. She watched the sheep intently through the fence. The house was very quiet and well stocked. The breakfast fixings were really appreciated.

I usually clean when we get somewhere…here I did nothing except sit down and enjoy it!! I had a question for the host and they answered promptly. The kitchen has the basic needs and they even had hashbrowns, eggs, Canadian bacon as well as biscuits we could make for breakfast…there was enough for a few days. They are pet friendly, and do keep the yard impecably nice. Even though it’s seems close to the highway, the home is way back into the property and you cannot hear any road noise at all. They have a great lane to walk, or you can walk the path around the pasture the sheep are so much fun to watch!! The hummingbirds are always on the feeder on the back porch. The scenery from the back porch is picturesque. Tuco, their pyrenees, keeps watch over the sheep and drops by to make sure all is well. He’s a sweetie. Awesome Place!!!!

Charming Country Retreat

If you enjoy country serenity…this is it! Green fields, grazing mother sheep with young lambs cruising by, a full moon, no traffic noises! What a beautiful setting in a delightful guesthouse! This was our second visit and we highly recommend this one if you enjoy the country life with upscale privacy!

Perfet Weekend Getaway

We had a fantastic weekend staying in the lovely Lone Wold Ranch guest house. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy. There were even homemade cookies and breakfast items for us to use. The pastoral views were gorgeous! We only wish we could have stayed longer.

What a beautiful place to stay! The house was clean and had everything that we needed! The property was gated and we felt very safe! The sunsets 🌅 were gorgeous! The sheep dog was so friendly! I would love to come back to Fredericksburg and stay here!

Beautiful Hill Country Sheep Farm

Perfect relaxing accommodation! Lone Wolf Ranch is a serene and quiet environment, which is exactly what we were wanting. The house was clean and adorable. It was so nice to have all the breakfast foods available for us to cook at our leisure and get off to a slow and relaxing morning. We have already recommended this VRBO to our DFW friends!

RAVING ABOUT THE RANCH

We absolutely had the most relaxing and enjoyable time at the ranch! From the adorable guest house to watching the livestock guardian with his sheep, we couldn't have asked for a better place to reside. The host was responsive and very accommodating. We will definitely be back! Love!

Beautiful Home

I was there for the solar eclipse. I could see it through the clouds but I also did some astrophotography. The skies are beautiful. Tuco and Hunter, the dogs are so friendly. The location is the perfect distance from town.I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Beautiful and Peaceful Place

The ranch is beautiful and just a short trip to town. The hosts are absolutely terrific and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The sheep and their faithful guard dog are a pleasure to watch. Our host invited us to help bottle feed the newly born lambs. That was extra special. We are very thankful for the hospitality and will definitely return.

Our Favorite R&R B&B

We always try to stay at Lone Wolf Ranch! Has everything and more for your stay. Gary and Sarah are great hosts and Tuco is my favorite sheep dog. You and your fur babies will have a great time. It's quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery especially sunsets. The fiber shop is very fun to browse. I buy something every time😁

Amazing place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having it on the sheep farm was icing on the cake. In fact one of the babies was only 2 days old. It’s a great location if your wanting to explore the wine country and Fredericksburg. It’s a gorgeous place and super clean. Breakfast items were even stocked in the fridge which we greatly appreciated. We would absolutely come back. 5 stars!

Very Charming!

It was peaceful and clean! We enjoyed our morning view out on the back porch and was pleasantly greeted by Tuco! One recommendation would be to change out the full mattress or add memory foam. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
