60th birthday

We had a great stay at Foxtrot Cottage. We had a visit from a beautiful fox our first evening while sitting on the porch. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The beauty and quiet was amazing. It’s centrally located to so many things.

Another lovely stay at Foxtrot Farm

This stone house out not too far in the country south of Fredericksburg was again a perfect place to stay. Spacious, comfortable, immaculate, nice window views, and stylishly furnished appropriately for Texas. HEB is on the way into town, and the house is easy to find, even at night. Couldn't have asked for more.

PERFECT GETAWAY!

Foxtrot Farm is a perfect getaway for a couple or small family. Much better than those mini houses. You are removed from the hustle of downtown Fredricksburg yet just a short 5-10 minute drive. The exterior is an old farmhouse (which appealed to us) but the interior is upgarded with the latest amenities. Nice porches to kick back, enjoy wildlife, and listen to the wind. Owners very responsive, had no issues at all.

Perfect

Lovely stay in cottage. Great location, not too far from town. Peaceful, and the cottage was beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well-sticked, and bathrooms were immaculate. In summer, would be nice snd shady, surrounded by trees.

A magic Christmas getaway

This was our third stay at Foxtrot Farm over Christmas & it was just as lovely as ever. We love walking the property with our dog before cosying up by the wood burner inside. The cottage has all the mod cons you need for a home from home getaway including plenty in the kitchen to help prep a nice dinner. You will be pleasantly surprised when you step inside at the thoughtful decor & cleanliness. Love this place like it was our own & will keep coming back as long as we can.

The Perfect Cottage for a Relaxing Getaway

The cottage was even better than we expected it to be. Though it appeared small from the outside, the interior was spacious enough for two couples and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Very clean and well taken care of. The appliances and interior were practical and functional with an eye for details. We loved how quiet it was and the deck was perfect for some morning yoga. We will definitely try to stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Perfect country spot

The house and grounds were exactly as advertised and superb. We saw a scarlet tanager and a painted bunting while we were there. My only suggestion is to have hangers for your guests. The garbage disposal leaks, so we were afraid to use it after one time. We definitely will return!!

Girls getaway

My niece and I came for a quick girls getaway. The house was extremely clean and bed was very comfy. Perfect location to be outside of town, but just close enough to run home to change or rest for a bit. Lots of deer and even spotted a fox. Our only complaints, there is another house on the property that's pretty close, which the description does not mention, and its very dark at night getting from your car to the house. Otherwise, this adorable cottage was our favorite part of the entire trip!

A Wonderful Cosy Christmas

A second Christmas for us at the wonderfully cosy cottage that is Foxtrot Farm. It might have been freakishly freezing temps for Texas but you wouldn't have known, the cottage was cosy and warm for our arrival and clear communication with GS about the expected weather meant we had no worries about any issues with the property. We particularly enjoyed walking round the beautiful property with our dog, watching the wildlife and warming up by the woodburner. We love this place and didn't want to leave. A home from home.

Hello

Foxtrot is in a beautiful setting. The home has good attributes and very comfy. However, we arrived about 5:30pm when it is getting dark. There was not one light guiding us from our car to the porch which has a step up. My brother in law, who has Parkinson's fell off the porch when he lost his step. We had stopped by HEB to pick up steaks to cook on the grill (the info said it had a gas grill). But the grill didn't work. There are some fun lights strung around the porch but there wasn't a switch to turn them in that I saw. Also, the keys didn't work good. We finally got one of them to work once or twice but never did get the other one to work. In fact, we left the door unlocked because we couldn't get it to work. We've been long time guests of y'all and thought you should know this. Thanks.

Nice place but …

I've stayed here several times and love the quiet country setting. The only thing it needs is more comfortable seating in the living room. The furniture is pretty worn and not comfortable.

Fabulous Foxtrot Farm

Perfect place for a quiet getaway. Farmhouse situated on secluded ranch with abundant wildlife. Great place to sit on the porch, relax and enjoy the hill country views. House nicely renovated and comfortable with everything you need for your stay.

The house was beautiful and extremely clean. Perfect for two couples.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed, the bedding was of good quality as well as the bath products. It was a little further out of town that we would have liked but we enjoyed the peace and quiet the property offered. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the morning sipping our cofee.

Quiet and right sized

The area is a peaceful break from the crowds to unwind and enjoy life, yet close to dining, events, and shopping in Fredericksburg or Kerrville to keep you entertained for the stay. The house is sized just right for a couple's retreat or a family's with a couple of kids. Pet friendly made it an obvious choice for us.

Foxtrot Farm - Lovely!

We had the most lovely stay at Foxtrot Farm. The design is so thoughtful and it is beautifully located in the hill country away from the sounds of cars. We enjoyed the sound of crickets and the beautiful sunset. Highly recommend!
