Great location

Very nice place in an amazing location. We walked everywhere and felt safe. It is a little loud but nothing like a few blocks down bourbon!

The product definitely matches the description! Location cannot be beat if you want to be able to walk to Bourbon and Frenchman St. Safe location. Vintage NOLA charm. I would recommend this place to anyone.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS TIME IN THE BIG EASY

Our stay was so relaxing, it was clean and cozy. Eric was so easy to work with. we were able to check-in early and check out late with no question. The location was perfect. We will be booking with Eric again. Thank you for a wonderful labor day weekend in the BIG EASY

Between French Quarter and Frenchman Street

Clean, bright, homey condo. Living quarters are up a narrow flight of stairs, so would not be suitable for folks with bad knees (not a problem for me, just a heads up). Well appointed, plenty of space in kitchen to cook some meals. Short walk to Frenchman Street, and also walkable to the French Quarter. Host was very responsive.

This apartment has a great location and is well decorated. The manager responded quickly to the one call we made. However, it wasn't cleaned prior to our arrival, and even after that, not very clean. And we'd recommend it only for two people-- the sleeper-sofa is uncomfortable even for sleeper sofas.

Incredible location, incredible host, lovely and comfortable apartment

Eric’s apartment is in the best location: less than a 5 minute walk to Frenchmen Street and about a 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street. It’s removed enough that the nights are quiet. Fantastic condition: feels artsy with a Nola theme. Comfy bed and sofa. Perfect for a couple. Fine for a group of three, or maybe four if two are children, using the sofa. Eric our host was INCREDIBLE. Totally responsive and helpful with any questions.

This was a great little place close to everything

We really enjoyed our time here. The place is close to both the Quarter and Frenchmans, but surprisingly quite. The house had obviously been lived in so it was stocked with the necessary amenities. Prior to the trip, Eric was very responsive and helpful. However, during the we had some issues with the coffee pot and lock pad that were not delt with. Neither a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to get a response.

Great location, neighborhood restaurants and bars nearby

You can walk 3 minutes to Frenchman Street to listen to jazz or walk 3 minutes to Bourbon Street to take in the excitement there or go in another direction and within a few minutes or are at French Market and Jackson Square. This is located far enough away so you are away from the night time noise though we did hear people come by at 3am. This is set in a quaint neighborhood with places located within a block or so from the apt. Checkout Call of Port for their fresh burgers with a loaded bake potatoe, stop in at the Royal Bar and Inn for a drink, or eat sushi at the Royal sushi and bar.

Wonderful Location!

Great place just at the end of Bourbon St. Was walkable to the French Quarter and Frenchman Street. Just a quick ride share to downtown. This place was clean, spacious and had a pullout couch for additional space. Host was great and communicative.The only thing I would say that could use a little love is the welcome book inside the space. It was outdated and could use some updating with new passwords and instructions. We did have an issue with the TV and streaming services which was communicated over to the host to be fixed for future tenants. Other than that, it was truly perfect!

Comfortable apartment in a great location

Mostly we were very happy with this rental. The location is fantastic. It is a short walk from both Frenchman Street and the heart of the French Quarter. The apartment is comfortable and the kitchen is excellent. There are shared washers and dryers in a building off the courtyard. The only problem we had was the very poor wifi. It worked only sporadically. It was so bad that I finally gave up on it and just used 4G on my phone. If the wifi had worked better I would have given this rental 5 stars.

Great location

The apartment is in a great location within easy walking distance to the great music venues on Frenchman Street or the French Quarter. The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything you'd need. This is an older building, and seems to have original windows, so you can hear people outside walking by and talking. It could use a deep cleaning and some fresh paint at least. It definitely was not as clean as we are used to in a rental. I did share this with the owner, hopefully future guests won't have this issue.

Walls stairs and bathroom were just freshly painted! Always a challenge in a humid climate and an 1860’s historic building during Festival Season and a labor shortage!

A lovely stay in 'the big easy'!

The home is in a great location...easy access to popular destinations, but away from the noise and traffic. The apt was very clean, maintained and all amenities well stocked. Extra towels was greatly appreciated as were the luxury appliances. Booking and payment was very easy and the owner checked in to make sure all was to our satisfaction upon on arrival. One thing to note is that overnight parking is not available at the apt, and a couple block walk is required to the nearest paid lot. While this did not pose a problem for my husband and I, it might be for other guests. The only recommendation I have, hence the 4 stars, is the bed is need of a new mattress. It was very uncomfortable and would highly recommend a new and larger size be purchased for future guests. But, overall we were very satisfied with the rental.

At Southern Charm Vacation Rentals we personally strive to make sure every guest has the best experience possible and are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the apartment. I am sorry to hear that you did not find the mattress to be comfortable as it is 2015 Sterns and Foster. Most guests have raved about it, but I will certainly look into what possibly could have caused the discomfort and will remedy it immediately. Making the Southern Charm Suite enjoyable for every guest is truly our passion.

Location, Location, Location

You couldn't ask for a better location. It's so convenient, and at the same time on the quiet end of Bourbon Street. You don't feel so conspicuously obvious that you are a tourist. There is a nice kitchen if you plan on cooking. Having a balcony is nice. I reread the description on Vrbo, and it isn't necessarily wrong but I didn't see a mention that you have to go up two sets of very narrow and steep stairs without handrails in some parts to get to the flat. I wouldn't recommend it if you have any mobility limitations. We had no hot water. There is a book on the coffee table with instructions for the TV, check in, check out, etc. We found out that the instructions are very outdated and incorrect.

GREAT PLACE! PERFECT LOCATION!

My husband and I really enjoyed this rental. It was in such an awesome location! Right on the corner of Esplanade and Bourbon. We walked everywhere! For Breakfast, we stayed close to the rental eating at The Ruby Slipper twice, it is only like 4 min walk (the Eggs Benedict there is out of this world!). We also ate at Port of Call, just around the corner, they have Steak and Burgers only - but both are Amazing! There is a little corner store a block away if you need snacks or waters. The Oldest Bar Lafitte's is just a few blocks away - right down Bourbon St - had to have a drink there. We are walkers, so we walked the entire Bourbon Street and even all the way to the Riverfront and Harrah's Casino. Other places we ate were Coop's (diveish Bar with Great Drinks & Gumbo), Saints and Sinners on Bourbon - AMAZING Crawfish Pie!! Went to Frenchman St., it is so close, heard some great music and had some good food!We took a Paddle Boat ride to the Chamlatte Battlefield, and went to the WWII Museum. As for the Rental itself, Bed was comfortable, Shower was hot and had a full kitchen (which we did not use), but nice to have. The balcony was great to chill out and relax on. Place was clean and had a nice size TV. Not a place for anyone with any type of mobility issues, after you enter, you take some steep stairs up, could be a issue for some. Owner Eric was GREAT! Good communication and very accomodating. We would recommend this place fo sure!!

Wonderful location

We loved the location of this property. It was a short walk to many delicious breakfast spots, dinner options, and of course Frenchman St. It's close to everything in the quarter too. Host communicated well and the place had everything we needed.

Great Location

Location was nice between Frenchman Street and French Quarter. It was a nice big place, but unfortunately had a few cleanliness issues and some allergies to something in the property. Eric was very accommodating and is fixing the issues.

Perfect Spot in NOLA

Great location in the city. Not far from many of the great things that New Orleans has to offer. We were able to walk to enjoy most things on our trip. The balcony was a nice way to relax after walking around the town all day. I'd absolutely recommend this place.

Absolutely perfect

This condo is an absolutely perfect place to stay in Nola. Easy walk to the quarter or Frenchman street. It’s clean and well stocked. The bed is extra comfy. This is our second stay in this condo. We’ll definitely be back!
