Comfortable and convenient

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is not a touristy neighborhood, but is extremely convenient to the subway and regional trains, and it was a great base for exploring the area. There are also grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants a short walk away. Emmanuel was very communicative and responsive if anything came up.

Wonderful Winter Stay!

Our stay was great! Emmanuel was very responsive and hospitable, even meeting us in person for check-in to show us how to access and use the parking garage. Everything we wanted to do in Munich was easily accessible from the apartment as it is located right next to both U-bahn and S-bahn stations. A grocery store was also conveniently located right around the corner. Highly recommend!

Clean and well-stocked apartment in the perfect location

This place is fantastic. The host was incredibly helpful and the location couldn't be better - easy access to all trains, subways, and buses. The apartment is simple and clean, yet has everything you need for a stay: a nicely stocked kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a lovely balcony. We couldn't be happier.

Good location with easy transit to city center.

We loved this location and the owner gladly met us to settle us in late in the evening. The unit is very nice and we couldn’t have asked for more comfort and amenities. Jean, the owner, was helpful with directions and recommendations for transit and nearby groceries. We highly recommend staying here!

Great Location, Great Experience

Communication was great. Apartment is very small by most US standards but very adequate. The bedroom and living room are open to each other so there is no privacy. But it has a kitchen, bathroom, and a fantastic balcony. Nice neighborhood and fantastic location for using public transportation. We toured the castles, Salzburg, Rothenburg, and the Marienpkatz easily from here. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome and convenient flat!

We're sitting in the apartment as I type this review. The apartment is great: cozy, in a very quiet residential neighborhood, and has everything you need. It is very clean with new appliances and amenities. There are only a couple restaurants/cafes close by, but we did not mind at all because we liked the safe residential feel of the neighborhood and it felt good to escape the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. The subway is literally next to the building and there are a couple grocery stores on the same street. The city center is just a few stops away, 10 minutes or so on the U train. We did rent a car on the premise that we could park a small car in the garage, but ours was too tall to fit. You would have to have a really low to the ground tiny car to fit in that space, so consider that if renting a vehicle. The owner was so nice that he didn't charge us for the parking space since we wouldn't be using it, and we have never had a problem finding a parking space on the street in front. The water pressure is great, and we never ran out of hot water. The unit stays nice and warm. Currently it's about -1C, and we can be in the unit in shorts and t-shirt with no problem. Nice hardwood floors and comfortable bed. The washing machine is new, no dryer but hanging rack is provided on the deck. Nice little balcony that can seat 4, overlooking a quiet courtyard. The owner met us at 9am on Saturday morning to let us into the unit, which was very nice of him. The TV works great, but never used it since everything is in German. The space is perfect for 2 people, but any more would be a little crammed. The price was very good for the convenient little flat, if we return to Munich, we will rent this unit without question. And yes, there is free wi-fi.

Thank you very much Rachel for this review! I just want to put straight that big cars like Audi A8 or BMW7 will fit very well in the parking place. The ony limiting factor is the height. Vans like VW Touran or Opel Zafira will not fit since they are higher than 1,50m.

Tolle Unterkunft

Tolle Unterkunft, die sehr verkehrsgünstig liegt (S-Bahn und U-Bahn-Anschluss direkt gegenüber) und in der alles was man benötigt, vorhanden ist.In der direkten Nähe bekommt man all das, was man für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt.Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut, freundlich und hilfsbereit.Die Unterkunft würden wir für einen Münchenaufenthalt definitiv nochmal buchen.

Toller Familienurlaub

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hat alles zu unser Zufriedenheit erfüllt. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und es gibt in der Umgebung alles was benötigt( Supermarkt,Apotheke,U und S-Bahn etc) Das Appartement ist mit allem ausgestattet,was man braucht.Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder :-)

Für den Preis ist die Wohnung für einen Münchenaufenthalt als Paar voll in Ordnung. U-Bahn und S-Bahnhof ist direkt vor dem Haus, der Balkon geht auf einen Innenhof mit Blick aufs Grüne. Zweckmäßig ausgestattet, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Sehr gute, unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter

Praktische Wohnung

Die Lage der Wohnung ist super: Direkt an der U-Bahn-/Straßenbahnhaltestelle und mit definitiv allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Trotz der zentralen Lage innerhalb Giesings ist es nachts ruhig, so dass man bei offenem Fenster schlafen kann. Das Appartement ist nicht groß, aber aufgrund seiner Aufteilung und der guten Möblierung sehr bequem nutzbar. Die Koffer können im Vorflur bleiben und stören nicht im Wohn-/Schlafraum, der Schrank im Zwischenflur ist super eingeteilt, um alles mit einem Griff zu erreichen und im Bad gibt es noch 2 kleine Regale für Kosmetikkram. Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen und wünschen viel Spaß in München!

Ein schöner Aufenthalt

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in der Wohnung, es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Vor allem haben wir den ruhigen Balkon sehr geschätzt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief reibungslos. Das einzig Unschöne war der Umstand, dass wir die Tiefgarage wegen der Höhe unseres Autos nicht nutzen konnten, sondern es in einer Nebenstraße abstellen mussten. Das war aber nicht weiter schlimm, denn man brauchte nur wenige Meter bis zur nächsten U-Bahn, S-Bahn oder Straßenbahnhaltestelle zu laufen. Wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Tolle Wohnung, mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gut zu erreichen. Einziges Manko ist die Parkplatzsituation, da wir einen SUV fahren konnten wir nicht in der Tiefgarage parken.
