Great location but condo needs upgrades

Really liked the location and view of the ocean. This property was advertised as air conditioned which it is not. There is a tiny air conditioner in each bedroom but the one on the ocean side could not cool the room. There is no air conditioning on the main floor. The showers in the bathrooms had no place to put shampoo, etc.

Nice condo, poor experience

Our family of 4 stayed for 2 weeks. The condo itself was nice, clean, well equipped. The grounds and pool were well maintained. Much of the unit appeared to have been recently updated with new furniture etc. There were only 3 patio chairs, however, available during our stay, making it inconvenient to have meals outside having 4 people in our family. The kitchen is well stocked with modern appliances, pots and pans, espresso maker, Instapot etc. Great for making any meal imaginable. It was quite warm so the portable AC units in the bedrooms struggled to keep up and were very loud all night. The gym location is somewhat misleading, as it is further from the unit than expected, but it was nice as well. Its location is not on site. It is walkable, but a mile away and mostly along a busy street. The swim beach is a 5-7 minute walk and is located in front of the Sheraton. The rest of the waterfront is lava rock, not sand. There is a small public road between the unit’s lanai and the ocean. The sea wall and road attracts local youth to park their trucks and vehicles lining the entire length of the street, both sides, beginning about 5:00 pm and goes beyond dark. They are not well behaved as their stereos were bass bumping, there were fist fights and loud, smoky burnouts that occurred every evening. Forget about having a peaceful dinner out on the lanai. Several nights we had rubber burnout smoke in our living room. We couldn’t simply close up the doors in an attempt to block some noise because it was too hot and there is no central air conditioning. Several visitors called the police with noise complaints (us included) and they did little to resolve the issue. The experience continued our entire stay and required many calls to the police department. There are “no parking” signs along the sea wall and the police LOOSELY enforce it to control the situation. The experience ruined our stay. When we talked to the staff about the issue, the response was, “Well, if you complain and call the police, they will just rebel even more.” This is not the response expected after spending thousands and thousands of dollars to stay. We will never return to any unit in this location. Be aware that this is a known issue with staff and law enforcement and, if you should decide to stay, expect the same experience every evening. Other than that, a nice, clean condo with plenty of room.

Location

Nice location other than the local teen hang out is directly across from the unit. The kids were well behaved except for the loud music. They never stayed late so did disturb our sleep.

Could easily live here

spacious living - absolute everything in a place you could want - even at home. Summer on the south side brings some higher surf, so the 10 minute walk to the beaches (great walk to see monk seals and turtles on the beach) provides not-so-great snorkeling and swimming. but early morning (6 am-7 am), water was calm and clear. Lots of places too eat, play tennis, and centrally located among many activities (tubing, zip line, hiking, etc). Great stay, thanks

Sweet Paradise at Suite Paradise

Our family stayed at Suite Paradise for 10 days. It was a fabulous accommodation and a great location. The sunsets viewed from the short wall across the road were amazing. The ocean waves can be heard at night. The condo itself is spacious and well laid-out. We will definitely return.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this 2br in Poipu. The property was well located and very spacious with two large bedrooms, living room, and three bathrooms. The outdoor area faced the ocean with nice views as did the master bedroom upstairs. Well maintained and very responsive staff. Easy check in and check out. Would stay again!

Stunning view (as long as you don’t stand up and see the road!)

Condo was well laid out and spacious and the view at all times stunning. However, there is a road between you and the ocean that we had not realized before arriving and locals come and park on the road in front and sit on the wall at sunset! The condo was comfortable but lacked basic extras such as suround wrap, tea bags and cooking oil etc. not the end of the world but for the price I would have expected such things. The location was good and easy to get around the island. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away (in front of the Sheraton) but there are better child friendly beaches a short drive away (baby beach and Poipu beach). Sad to leave

This was a beautiful condo with the best ocean view. We are going to miss staying here and would come back in a heartbeat! The bottle of wine was a nice touch and the one issue I had was fixed right away. Great customer service!

5 star accommodations and views!

We stayed at this condo for 8 days. It's perfectly located with extraordinary restaurants at every turn. The kitchen is equipped with anything you could think to need. Love the master lanai glass sliders opening to the sound of the ocean lulling us to sleep each night!!!

The staff at Suite Paradise were very good. We had to move from Lawai Beach Resort condo after twelve days to another condo Poipu Kapilli on December 5-12 we had lots of groceries and luggage.The staff allowed us an early check in so that we did not have to deal with all the refrigerated food. The girls at the front desk were polite and made us feel very welcome.in the past I have booked through Parrish Collections, this was the first time with Suite Paradise. From now on I will be booking through Suite Paradise as they really try to make your stay the best ever.

November 2016 Stay

We loved the condo and the location so close to Kiahuna beach. Our one complaint is the pillows on the beds. They were very uncomfortable, especially if you like to sleep with more than one pillow. Otherwise the condo had a great kitchen that was very well stocked and very comfortable furnishings. Jim M
