¡Saludos de Dan y DJ! Nuestra familia ha estado de vacaciones en Kure Beach desde la década de 1930, y Three Sisters ha estado en nuestra familia desde la década de 1970. En 2017, completamos una renovación importante que combina las comodidades modernas con el encanto vintage auténtico.

La propiedad consta de una casa de campo y un garaje independiente con un loft único arriba. Es perfecto para una familia extensa o amigos para vacacionar juntos y aún así tener un poco de privacidad y espacio extra para retirarse.

CABAÑA
Si te gusta una cabaña de playa clásica, ¡aquí está! No es demasiado grande ni demasiado pequeño. La cabaña acomoda cómodamente 6 en tres habitaciones nombradas después de las hermanas. El dormitorio principal, Betty, cuenta con una cama queen y baño en suite. Helen, nuestra habitación de invitados, presenta una segunda cama tamaño queen. La habitación con literas, Irene, cuenta con una litera con dos camas individuales. También hay un baño completo para invitados con una gran ducha a ras de suelo. The Cottage tiene una gran cocina abierta y una gran sala con mucho espacio para socializar.
DESVÁN
El encantador Loft tiene un plan abierto con 4 camas individuales que se pueden mover para hacer camas king si lo desea. El espacio es muy tranquilo y tiene un televisor y puede funcionar como una sala de recreo para los niños. El loft tiene los pisos originales de pino amarillo y está revestido con tablas clásicas de Carolina del Sur en V-groove. Hay un medio baño abajo.

LADIES 'LOUNGE / MAN CAVE
Nuestros huéspedes tienen acceso al garaje a continuación. Allí encontrará un refrigerador / congelador grande con máquina de hacer hielo, un fregadero comercial grande para limpiar pescado, una lavadora y secadora, y una mesa de trabajo. Aquí, tienes un amplio espacio para guardar equipos de playa, bicicletas y artes de pesca. La habitación ha sido revestida con revestimiento vintage rescatado de la cabaña.

VISTA AL OCÉANO
La propiedad está en la segunda fila de la playa, ¡puedes ver y escuchar las olas! Camina descalzo a la playa al otro lado del césped de nuestra casa familiar en el frente. No tienes que cruzar una carretera muy transitada.

Nuestros huéspedes dicen que el entorno y la ubicación son perfectos. El centro de la ciudad está a menos de 2 manzanas: un paseo de 4 minutos con los niños te lleva al muelle, tiendas, restaurantes y bares, y al puesto de hamburguesas y helados. Obtenga un galón de leche en el mini-mart. Olvida el auto!

We had a wonderful stay at the Three Sisters Cottage in Kure Beach. The home was beautifully maintained, full of charm, and just steps from the ocean—with gorgeous views that made for a perfect start and end to the day!!We had plenty of space for our group to relax, with comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a fun loft space above the garage that added extra privacy.The location was perfect—quiet, walkable, and close to everything we needed, including the must-have pier ice cream!!Best of all, Ann, the property manager, was fantastic to work with—responsive, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Thank you for making our stay warm and inviting!

Excellent rental

We have rented from the previous owners as well as the new ones. There are many upgrades to property. We love the area as the family is always wonderful to deal with. If your looking for a quiet spot that isn't far from the city this rental gives you just that. It's perfect for a family or a quiet get a way. We are already counting down until next year. This is our home away from home

Great cottage, fabulous location!

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Ann who is such a pleasure. She gave us a house tour, asked us if we had any questions and handed over the keys. The cottage is older but nice and clean, great for families with children because there is plenty of room to roam in the house. So many things were provided for us such as beach towels, umbrellas, chairs and sand toys. I can't say enough good things about this place. My family and I will be returning next year.

Great beach cottage!

This is a lovely and lovingly renovated little cottage with views of the ocean in Kure Beach. The loft over the garage provides a great flexible space for rainy days or extra people. The cottage is very, very pleasant and comfortable - it was perfect for our family of two parents and two little kids. Beach access is a walk across the lawn and past the cottage in front of this one (owned, I believe, by members of the same family). There is a small access road in front of that cottage and then the beach is reached via a little boardwalk with stairs over the dunes (I think one of the access points near the house has a ramp, if stairs are a problem). The boardwalk also serves as a sidewalk that allows for an easy 1.5 block walk to the main intersection in town, by the pier, where there are 3-4 restaurants and a gas station with a mini mart. There is also a toddler playground there, if you have kids. This is a great place to stay in Kure Beach - we had a great time!

Location can't be beat, great place, definitely will be back!

This was the perfect place for us (4 adults, 3 tweens). Sure, it's not as big as one of those monstrous new homes, but it has *plenty* of space (esp. with the two living areas and the studio over the garage) and they've done a nice job of updating it. (Trust me: I've stayed in some sad little cottages; this place is charming!) The kitchen is great in terms of appliances *and* equipment -- again, much better than lots of other places I've stayed. Of course, the biggest plus is the location. It is absolutely perfect. Close enough to get to EVERYTHING, but tucked back enough to make it a great price. And Ann, the property manager, is a peach -- so friendly and helpful. One tip: If you stay in the studio and like to sleep late, consider bringing an eye mask. Most (but not all) windows have white blinds but no curtains, so it gets pretty bright in the room as the sun comes up. (Wasn't a problem for me, but it was for my SIL.)

Home away from home.

This year my family and I spent Thanksgiving here at Kure Beach. We were greeted at the door by Ann the property manager. She is so accommodating and friendly. I have been staying at this cottage since 1976 and have seen many remodeling projects. Each project has improved this quaint cottage. This years project tops them all. A second bathroom with an awesome shower has been added. We sprawled out into the loft and the cottage. The children enjoyed the loft with its game table and large TV. We prepared a Hugh Thanksgiving dinner in the newly remodeled kitchen. The views from the family room and the large deck are spectacular. The porpoise provided a peaceful show all week long. The garage has a second refrigerator which came in handy,and A workbench to clean the fish we caught and a place just to sit and relax. Wishing I could spend another week. This time of year is beautiful. Thank you DJ and Dan for sharing your beautiful cottage.

Overall good but could use a carpet cleaning and some small updates. Good place for families!

As someone who is in the travel industry, I am very meticulous about where I stay, especially when I take my family. The cottage and loft wery pretty roomy and well equipped. The carpets needed to be cleaned but this was probably because the busy season and one guest after the other staying there. The cottage only had one bathroom which makes it a bit tougher to get several people showered and ready to go out in the evenings. The garage basement was really nice and well equipped with beach toys, a charcoal grill and washer and dryer as well as a bathroom/shower that came in handy to wash sand and dirt off the kids. Very nice touch. The loft needs a bit of an update to the bathroom floors and some TLC. The parking situation is a bit of a mess if you have more than two vehicles. It is a very tight alley where parking is available. Overall, the property is a nice family vacation spot and the property manager was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend this rental if you accept that it won't be perfect luxury like some of the more expensive places but like convenience to the beach and pier. Just a small bit of updating would go a long way here which I understand is difficult when one after the other renters are coming weekly during peak season.

Wonderful Winter at Kure Beach...

Look no further for a wonderful cottage by the ocean. I can't say enough great things about this house/rental. The dining room table is gorgeous. We shared wonderful meals and conversation at this table. Ann is wonderful and accommodating. This is our 2nd year renting the house around Xmas and we hope to continue to do so and make it a tradition. The fireworks by the Kure Beach pier on NYE was so much fun too. Thank you DJ, Dan and Ann!!!

DJ and Dan's place is special with an ocean view and short walk to the beach! A gem at Kure Beach!

We spent an incredible week at DJ and Dan's place! And meeting the owners was a special treat in itself! The house has an amazing layout and has been so thoughtfully renovated! The open floor plan along with the barn doors to seperate the bedrooms from the living area and kitchen is a nice touch! The garage area with the extra refrigerator, restroom and outdoor shower made coming off the beach convenient! We will be back!

Property was amazing. Great location, easy walk to the beach. Kids loved the room above the garage.

Everything you could need was at the house. Ann helped us with anything else we needed. Aquarium nearby is a must see. Quick drive to Wilmington for any forgotten needs. Carolina beach boulevard is a must see. You need to try Britt's donut shop!!!

This absolutely gorgeous renovated home was truly one of my FAVORITE beach homes I have ever rented!

The moment we arrived, we were welcomed by one of the sweetest souls, Ann. Ann was an absolute delight and our family immediately felt like we were home! She gave us a tour of the home and all of the beautiful details the owners had clearly worked hard at maintaining, while also adding a bit of the new and hip decor such as the wonderful barn doors in the living room (my absolute favorite). It's truly just as beautiful as the photographs they have included on their site. I have been disappointed too many times to count in the past when I arrive at a home that is COMPLETELY different than what I saw in the photographs from their site. Your family will be thrilled with the lay out of this home as well! The main house was perfect on it's own, but the added loft room above the yellow door garage was filled with "squeals" of excitement from my 15 and 20 year old daughters. It gave them a PERFECT space to hang out and take sometime away from the little ones. Plus, it gave myself the assurance I needed that they were still safe, even though they were not attached to the main house where the rest of us slept. The keyless locks were priceless and I never once worried about my older daughters through out the ENTIRE week (which honestly, was a vacation for me on that merit alone!) Lastly, the location is PRIME!!! You start your morning on the deck literally looking out into the beautiful blue water! The easiness of having 4 kiddos and all that comes with them wanting to "hang at the beach all day", was effortless because all you really needed was a few towels or chairs. Anything any of the kids wanted or needed from the house, they were totally safe taking the quick simple walk up the beach straight to our house to grab what they wanted. Not once did I panic or not have my eyes on my younger ones when they walked away from me. It was absolutely wonderful to see the joy in their eyes, that they felt a little independence and free to simply enjoy the beach without dragging a massive amount of stuff, which we all know is exhausting! Not needed at this house! The waves crashing in the evening was all I needed for truly the best nights sleep I've had in quite some time! I could go on and on,but it's safe to tell EVERYONE and ANYONE considering this home, DO NOT HESITATE! I know you will fall in love with the home and area as much as myself and family have. And a real treat for me was meeting Ann! I think quite possibly we truly are family :)

Wonderful cottage with lots of extras!

This cottage has it all! The main cottage is large enough for several people to sleep there PLUS there is the extra loft to accommodate even more people!! It is so close to the beach, the pier, restaurants, the ferry, and well... there are so many great things that I cannot write them all out! And the caretaker, Ann, is a jewel! She goes above and beyond! She was responsive to any concerns we had. Very enjoyable time and place to stay at the wonderful place called Kure Beach, Three Sisters!!

This house is amazing! The owners have outdone themselves with the renovations! Perfect!

If you like the old cottage charm feeling, with all the comforts of brand new updated appliances and fixtures, this is it. The WHOLE place has been renovated. Paying attention to keep original historical features and structure. Take the time read the history of this beautiful property. It has everything you could possibly want to make a perfect beach vacation. Very spacious. The loft over the garage makes a perfect getaway for the kids to hang out. OR maybe the grownups that want to stay up a little later than the rest of the house. The location is also a great bonus. Walking distance to everything. Ann will greet you with a huge smile and go out of her way if you need ANYTHING. DJ will reply to any questions you have promptly. My clan thanks you for making our trip so pleasant. We will not look any further for the next trip.

Awesome house

We rented the house for a group of tennis players playing at state championships. There were 8 of us. We found the house to be very comfortable for all of us. One guy did bring an air mattress, but that was fine. There was plenty of room in the loft. The kitchen was decently stocked. The furnishings were more than adequate and was very comfortable. The extra space in the loft was a huge bonus for us. We walked to the beach, the pier and to the local restaurants every night. Miss Ann was an absolute delight to deal with and went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed (even though in all honestly, we needed nothing more than what the house already provided). We would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thank you for sharing your family home with us.

Relaxing stay at a beautiful place

Because of storm damage to the cottage we could not use it, but we were offered to use the family home which is right in front of the cottage. We really loved it!!! The views from the deck were beautiful and it is only a few steps from the beautiful beach. The loft is a great place and also gave us plenty of space to spread out. Ann was wonderful and always available. Thank you, Ann! We would recommend this place to anyone would love to come back another time.

Older property but close to public beach access

Ann, the care taker, was great. We were able to use both houses. That property was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The houses are in need of a little repair but ok for the price. Close to all amenities.

Wonderful location! Our home away from home!

We have stayed at this property several times and it's always great! You can't beat the location! Steps way from the beach and a short walk to the pier and downtown restaurants. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!!

Greetings from Dan and DJ! Our family has been coming to Kure Beach since the 1930s. (Look for DJ in the photo!) Our family has owned the house next door since 1954. This property has been owned by our family since 1974, and we were lucky to acquire it in 2015 to continue a family tradition. We are happy to share it and the community with others. People say Kure Beach is a gem. We love this place because it is family oriented, has a great small-town vibe, and there is so much to do in the area. And, of course, we love the clean water, rolling surf, fishing, and beachcombing. Our grandfather, DJ Karras, would sit on the deck and say "This is it!".

If you like a classic beach cottage, This is it! It’s not too big and not too small. The Studio Loft provides flexibility and a little getaway for extended family and friends. The garage has plenty of space to store your beach gear, bikes, and fishing equipment. Fishermen will love the large commercial sink for cleaning fish. Guests say the setting and location are perfect. The beach is just steps away and you don’t have to cross a busy highway to get there. The center of town is less than 2 blocks away: A 4 minute stroll takes you to the pier, shops, restaurants and bars, and the hamburger and ice cream stand. Get a gallon of milk at the mini-mart and forget the car! Our property manager, Ann, lives nearby and will greet you when you arrive. Ann can give you tips on where to go and what to see and she is available in case of an emergency.
