Very disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed. The only good thing was the view. Very old and dated. We were very cold. The only heater in the place was broken. Bed was very uncomfortable. The whole place needs a total renovation and upgrade.

Lazy Days on Straddie

Great position, spectacular views! Not a quick walk to the beach, but one that will keep you fit. Undercover carport right outside the door made for easy unpacking in wet weather. North Stradbroke was a lovely restful getaway, beautiful coastal path, bush walk to Blue Lake was great, especially followed by coffee at The Blue Room Cafe. :-)

Stunning view

To experience the views is well worth the stay in this unit. A quick drive to Home or Cylinder beach or a twenty minute walk each way….a very hilly walk back! The unit is decorated with colourful artwork which I loved. The pool was a hit overlooking the ocean. The downside to the unit is a lack of screens upstairs which meant bugs and flies and the cleanliness had a lot to be desired…..fans really dusty, cupboards needed a good wipe. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Rather disappointing , it was rather grubby

The white blinds were very mouldy, the ceiling fans “ flung” a pile of dirt onto my brother in law pillow So many notes around the place saying “Don’t do this, don’t do that, “ We are grown ups , certainly we would leave the place in a good condition ! But it was a quiet stay, easy to find

Close to Cylinder Beach, and one of the main roads to access beach driving. My favourite part was sitting on the deck and getting lost in the view.

Bed was like a rock, might aswell slept on the floor. Found a guest book and it seems like continuing complaints on same items with nothing done

Wildlife retreat

Lots of wildlife at your fingertips. Breakfast with the kookaburras, whales can be seen jumping while sitting in the deck, kangaroos roaming out the front. 💕
