Small but just what we needed. Host was very communicative, safe area, easy parking, and plenty of extra bedding/towels. Coffee was stocked and available with an ice maker and tap water. The kitchen was well stocked, but would recommend making the trip to the local diner for an authentic experience. Food not so great, cash only, but the conversation at the counter seating was entertaining. Nice bench at the end of the dock to enjoy the view, very quiet area. Easy access to several food/bevvie options. The living room couch was comfortable enough to sleep on and all beds/pillows were comfortable. In all- great spot and exactly what we needed for our group of 3.

nice , parking advertised deceiving. No place to park boat or trailer. Barely room to park full size pickup. grass not mowed. Short dock way too shallow water to dock boat. The whole reason to book waterfront .

Beautiful view and access to the lake. Kitchen and upstairs bathroom upgrades were tastefully done. Great accommodation for renters with pets. Unique room layout with a long stairway leading to the lower main living space. Well stocked with all your vacation needs.

Kitchen was well organized, only drawback was fridge inside had not been cleaned well. Otherwise entire home was clean, comfortable and the location was perfect. The master bath was very nice. You must be able to navigate stairs, both inside and out. We also enjoyed the crane who visited both nights! A great pet friendly option.

This beautiful lakefront house might be the best-equipped and nicest VRBO I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything I could have wanted, and helpfully had coffee, spices, etc. should I have needed them. It was nice to have multiple electrical outlets (many places have them hidden behind sofas and such), and helpful labels here and there. It's beautifully decorated, and I appreciated the big, comfy arm chair/ottoman right next to the windows overlooking the lake. So conducive for relaxed reading or surfing the web.The keypad check-in was easy to use, and the instructions came in a timely manner.The bathroom was fantastic, with a bi-level counter and a spacious Jacuzzi tub that I could actually sit in and get mostly fully immersed. Very well thought-out!The decks off the living room and bedroom were great, the former for eating breakfast, the latter for star-gazing (I spotted Saturn, Jupiter and Venus!). The night breeze off the lake blew out the humidity and I was able to open the windows at night.The house is about 20 miles/30 minutes from downtown Syracuse, where I found several great restaurants (Touché, Lemon Grass, School & Vine) Tailor & the Cook a little farther away in Utica. Closer, for delicious coffee, is the cute Serendipity in Chittenango, about 6 miles away.I enjoyed my week-long stay, and would do so again if my travels bring me to the area. Thank you!

A beautiful gem! Just exactly what we were looking for in a weekend getaway trip. Squirreled away on a very quiet street in a wonderful neighborhood. Very easy to find, very difficult to forget! We enjoyed it so much, we are looking forward to returning to it again in the future.

Relaxation Getaway

The house was so beautiful, I loved the flooring in the upstairs. The kitchen was so gorgeous as well, and comes with anything you could need to cook a meal! The check in and check out process were so easy! Host is very polite and helpful!

Serene Escape

The evening view was full of color and beauty. We really enjoyed sitting around the firepit. The 2 kayaks that are available is a great amenity and we thoroughly enjoyed them. There was also a paddleboard available. We enjoyed the local restaurants, especially Johnny's Pier 31. Great food and they made us feel like locals. We highly recommend this stay.

Lovely, relaxing home

We felt very comfortable at this cozy lake house! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Very comfortable furniture. Everything we could want for a refreshing getaway. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat that is also close to many activities. Our host was very accommodating and kind.

A Relaxing Stay at the Raywood Lake House

Holiday on the Lake

My dog, Bandit, and I spent our time at this lovely cottage on Oneida Lake. We were very happy with our accommodations, amenities, and location. We were able to gather with our family during the Christmas holiday and despite the cold temps., we truly enjoyed the tranquility of being on the lake. Would love to stay again during the summer months! Thanks to our host, Lynne, for being so accommodating!!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Beautiful lakefront home in a quiet neighborhood. Our host Lynn was very gracious and helpful. The home was very clean and the accommodations made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this home as a great place to stay.

60th anniversary

The property was okay. The main problem was the queen bed mattress would sink in the center, could not get any rest Notified owner, she sent a woman to look at it but she should have looked under the bed and she could have seen where it fell through because of no support in that area. She said there was nothing wrong with it and she flipped the mattress. She said she ordered new mattress, but it would come after we left. We wondered why she would buy new one but say the old mattress had nothing wrong. Next night we tried tp sleep in other room, but too small for us. Info said there was hot tub, but there wasn’t one. I messaged owner and told her we were moving to hotel as we needed to get our rest and couldn’t there. She never offered to refund a penny of what we paid. I would hope that if i had an elder couple celebrating their 60th anniversary I would at least offer a partial refund

Lovely home beautiful views

My husband, myself, and my mom had a great stay. The house had everything we needed and there were many days/nights sitting on the back porch with a perfect sunrise and lake view. Would absolutely stay here again. Communication with the owner was excellent.
