Squaw Valley Resort home

Owner was anxious to please. Responded quickly and accommodated all our requests. Would recommend this home. Comfortably furnished, kitchen well equipped and pleasant outside seating area.

Excellent home

Great location, nice furnishings, superb kitchen with many amenities, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. TV service varied depending on the TV and overall was sub par.

For future guests, we have cut the TV cable chord and use a streaming service with roughly 30 channels. This is supplemented by access to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Smart TVs also connect to other internet sites such as YouTube. Thank you for your thoughtful and thorough review. Julie

Great Stay

Stayed here just after the 2023 New Years storm. Julie the owner was awesome as far as facilitating check in and even checked on us during the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. They have 3 snow removal teams so even with the storms we had no problems with access to the house. House is beautiful, wood burning fireplace, hot tub, comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen 2 mins from the base of Squaw. What more can you ask for?

Beyond amazing!

The home was absolutely perfect for our stay. The location was ideal for our summer stay and a winter trip would be even more perfect! The house was spotless, loaded with board games, kitchen staples and a view to get lost in. The hot tub easily fits 4 adults, the fire pit was well stocked with firewood the deck and patio are the perfect place to entertain or sit and relax with a coffee. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and the master bath is from a magazine! The family was always immediately able to respond during the booking process and even checked in to ensure everything was good and we got in the house easily. Highly recommend staying here and will be back before the end of the year for sure!

Tranquil, Beautiful and Comfortable

We had an excellent stay at the house. We appreciated that Salita and Trish were very responsive to any of our requests and questions. The house itself was fantastic and easily hosted our two families (including little ones). The Great Room is fantastic for lounging and dining with beautiful views out windows on both sides. My favorite was early morning and breakfast time enjoying the sunrise light! The beds were comfortable and rooms well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked (even better than we anticipated). Evenings around the fire pit were a treat. :) Our only con was the internet connection was very slow (1.5 Mbps) which hindered productivity for those trying to do work. Given the choice, we would stay here again for a future visit!

So glad that you had a great time at our home. Unfortunately Squaw ski resort does not currently have ultra high speed internet service ( we had added a Apple router to boost performance) We will investigate other options. We look forward to your future visits.

Amazing stay in Palisade

The property is only 5 min away from the village. It is great to be able to have a nice warm breakfast and still secure a decent parking! The house is very spacious - high ceiling throughout and provides a luxury feeling. The pictures don’t do justice. We enjoyed 2 living rooms, grown-ups and teens (and one living room had a full wet bar setting!) Kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed cooking with lots of counter spaces. All beds and bedding are high-end products. We slept so well after all day skiing. Owner was available and communicative is throughout the stay. Very courteous and nice people. We would definitely come back again.

North Tahoe Nirvana

Lovely home, well appointed and very comfortable for large groups. The owners are very proactive with communication and make you feel welcome in their home. Location is on the 50 yard line of all activities in North Tahoe. You will not be disappointed, this home is a '10'. We had a terrific time, and really appreciate the owners opening their home allowing us to enjoy enjoy and experience their beautiful piece of paradise. Thank you- we created a lot of cherished memories.

Luxurious home

We were two couples sharing this lovely home, and there was room to spare. The kitchen was fabulous and we enjoyed cooking in. Tom and Julie are very responsive and caring owners and we look forward to coming again.

Amazing North Tahoe Olympic Valley Home!

We loved our stay at Julie and Tom's beautiful home. The house is removed from the bustle of the main road. It's situated in a wooded area near the end of a private road. The 4 bedrooms & the 2 living areas are very comfortable. Plus there's a wonderful gourmet kitchen. Outside is perfect for relaxing - the hot tub, outdoor seating area, deck & fire pit present options to spend time together as a group or separate. The photos of the house don't do it justice, it's so much nicer in person. We had a lovely outings rafting down the Truckee River and swimming on Lake Tahoe. Communication with Julie and Tom was easy and so welcoming. I would highly recommend this home. We will be back. Thank you again, we all had a wonderful stay!

Hospitality at it’s finest

Wonderful vacation home!

The house was beautiful with all the amenities, including a great back yard with hot tub and fire pit! Location was also fantastic - bike rides and rafting along the Truckee River and close to Tahoe City and the lake!

The overall impression was great!! The property is well laid out and comes very well equipped!

WE had a wonderful time staying here!!! The furnishings were comfortable and very nice. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The homeowners were super easy to work with and very responsive. The property is well maintained. The only suggestion I have is to add screens to the doors and some windows. It was warm while we were there and with no air conditioning you have to open the doors for the breeze! Bugs are likely to come in at night with the lights. I do though highly recommend that you stay here!! The location is great and close to everything we were wanting to do! We really hope to be back soon!!

I have always cherished the beauty of Tahoe and the majestic mountains surrounding Squaw Valley. It is one of the premier destinations in the US. Though living in the South, I have been able to return quite often to be with my California family and friends. We keep the wonderful Base Camp picture, taken when our 2 boys were small, on the fridge to remind us of our very best memories in this paradise. I would love for you to enjoy the peace and beauty of Tahoe in our mountain home. Better take pictures for your fridge. 😊

We love the outdoor lifestyle here. Summers are amazing with endless biking, hiking and golfing possibilities, incredible weather and the aroma of pine in every breath. Winter brings world class skiing, crackling fires and that mad dash to the hot tub!
