Excellent hide away, suits 2 families

The house is divided in 2 separate apartments, one 3*** (ground floor) and one 4**** (first floor). Traveling together it is sad, that it is so divided, but also an advantage. Best kitchen is on first floor, so it would be better/preferred that it was ground floor, as ground floor has exit to shared terrace and pool area, but it works. But stair directly to terrace from first floor would be nice!! Still, very attractive house if you look for a private house with excellent view and private pool :-)

Loved it!

Just got home from this wonderful visit to Makarska, with 6 kids aged from 6 to 17. Everything was even better than we expected. The view from the pool was amazing, and location was very nice: near to city but private! House was clean and updated. Everything we needed was there, upstairs and downstairs both very nicely equipped. We grilled every evening and kids (and parents too :) loved to swim in our private pool. Game room was also very entertaining. Best part of our trip was to hang out in the pool area sunbathing from 8.45am to 7.00 pm. Kids are already planning our next trip to this lovely place. Can't find absolutely nothing to complain about! Thank you again, owner Tina, and her nice family. <3

The property looked exactly like on the pictures but the view from the villa was even better. You could see the whole Makarska village from the pool. The villa had everything you needed.

Great time at a great villa

Loved our time here. Came as a family of myself. 2 kids and my parents. The layout is perfect for this as it is split over 2 floors giving privacy if required. Extremely well equipped with more than we could ever need. The drive from the villa to the main town of Makarska is only about 10 mins through some great winding roads with beautiful views. If here I can make a constructive comment I would say that a sign post to the exact villa location is required as you pass the little church as we initially took the wrong turn and it was a pain to turn round. Once I knew the location it's easy to find. The pool at the villa is amazing with awesome views and is equipped with many loungers and seating options. On one of our days we had a high wind suddenly which damaged a parasol. I informed the owner and within no time her father had bought a new one along with no issues. It is often how issues are dealt with that can make a difference and again here they were faultless Overall almost nothing to fault. Highly recommended. Had a great family holiday in a perfect villa for us. Many thanks to the owners.

Wunderschönes Haus - ruhig gelegen!

Wir haben das Ferienhaus Anfang Juni gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden!!! Die Ausstattung war sehr gut - Geschirr, Bettwäsche, Handtücher .... alles reichlich vorhanden. Die Lage ist - wie bereits in mehreren Bewertungen angegeben - etwas oberhalb von Makarska, die Anfahrt ist zwar etwas "steil" - aber gut zu bewältigen :-)! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der näheren Umgebung zahlreich und gut zu erreichen! Anfragen an Tina wurden stets innerhalb kurzer Zeit beantwortet und umgehend Hilfe angeboten - wo diese nötig war. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus - UND DIE VERMIETER - allen, die einen ruhigen Urlaub verbringen möchten, sehr empfehlen.

Wow, five star plus ******

Well there is nothing I can say that is bad about this villa :) it has everything you need while you staying there. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are so comfy. Loved the pool. What a view :) you you don't fancy drive back at night or need a taxi, just ask Tina for Nino number( our personal taxi driver), thank you Nino :) And of course what can I say about Tina and her fmaily(thank you mum n dad for the olive oil ). It was such as lovely gesture to give your own olive to us when we were leaving. A lovely personal touch. Tina can not be anymore helpful if you need anything, and replies very quickly. Even helped us out getting our pet " cricket" out of the villa( he was huge!!!) thank you for everything and will recommend this villa to all of our family n friends.

Well equipped apartement, beautiful view and pool

We stayed at the largest apartement for 10 days, and had a great time, 2 adults , and one child . The apartement had everything we needed, and is as described online. We really liked the outdoor area, and spent a lot of time in the pool. the view is really beautiful, both the sea, and the mountains. Makarska is only a few minutes away, and there are many nice small beaches in the villages near by, recommend to rent a car, and go there. I recommend Split for shopping. There are also ferries to Brac and Hvar near by. We would love to come back one day :)

Belle maison, piscine magnifique.

Tout à fait comme les photos, aucune mauvaise surprise . Cette location est parfaite pour ceux qui comme nous apprécient la tranquillité, loin de l'agitation de Makarska. Il est absolument nécessaire d'avoir une voiture pour aller à Makarska. La villa se trouve au bout d'un chemin de montagne, au pied d'une falaise impressionnante,, dans un cadre authentique au milieu des oliviers, avec pour seul bruit les cigales et les clochettes des chèvres. L'appartement pour 6 est bien équipé, très bien climatisé. Mais surtout la piscine à débordement est très belle, avec la mer Adriatique dans le prolongement, et l'île de Hvar en face. Vaste terrasse bien aménagée, et possibilité de faire des grillades. Il y a un autre appartement pour 4 personnes, la piscine et la terrasse sont partagées, nous avons heureusement eu la chance de tomber sur une famille très sympathique. Tina et son mari ne vivent pas sur place, mais répondent aussitôt très gentiment à toute demande, et n'hésitent pas à se déplacer en cas de problème. Nous avons donc passé un séjour très agréable en famille. Un grand merci à Tina et son mari.

Wonderful villa and great hosts

Four of use (two couples) rented both units in this lovely, secluded home with tremendous views over the Adriatic. Nice pool, clean and comfortable accommodations, helpful friendly hosts, and even a goatherd next door! Access to rugged walks. Meals on the spacious terrace, along with delicious local grilled fish on the outstanding barbecue. Why did we come home? Dunno!

Amazing view of town and coast!

This is a lovely location nestled in the hills overlooking Makarska, 5 mins drive into heart of the town. We stayed in the smaller apartment within the villa it was very well equipped and cozy. Everything you would need for a comfortable yet rustic holiday. The patio areas on the grounds are especially nice! You will enjoy breakfasts outside in the magnificent tranquility of the Croatian countryside, with the tinkling of bells worn by passing goats to make it even more special! Our 20 mth old toddler had a great time running about on the villa grounds. The pool with its over_the_horizon view I can imagine this to be a highlight of many hot summer evenings, sipping a cocktail whilst perched at the edge watching the sunset. Tina, who owns the property and looks after guests is wonderful, if you need anything she's often happy to help. We had a brilliant holiday and would highly recommend the villa for romantic, family or just nice quiet holidays at a location that is secluded yet only stone's throw away from the amenities of Makarska. When both villas are occupied and there are two cars on the villa grounds parking on the sloped and awkwardly shaped area can be a real hassle, check with the owners to see if they could propose an alternative.

Hoch oben über Makarska dem Trubel entgehen

Trotz der etwas beschwerlichen Anfahrt (eine Stelle ist so eng, dass man fast die Spiegel einklappen muss) oder gerade deshalb bietet sich nach der Ankunft und natürlich während des gesamten Aufenthaltes ein phantastischer Blick über halb Makarska. Dieser Blick wirkt noch beeindruckender, wenn man sich im glasklaren Wasser und bei Nacht im toll beleuchteten Pool treiben lässt. Die Wohnung war sauber und entsprach dem Inserat voll und ganz. Lediglich der Hund des Schafhirtes sorgt etwas für Unruhe, aber am Tage ist er mit seinen Schafen in den Bergen des Biokovo. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt es im Ort reichlich. Ausflüge hat die Küste wie auch das Hinterland reichlich zu bieten. Wir empfehlen jedoch während des Kroatienaufenthalts die Wohnung je nach geplanten Unternehmungen einmal zu wechseln. So waren wir eine Woche bei Karlobag und die zweite Woche in Makarska. Ein weiterer Vorteil bietet der neue Tunnel (Mautpflichtig) durch das Biokovo-Gebirge, so dass man schneller auf der Autobahn A1 ist. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und würden gerne wieder kommen. Perfekter Urlaub

Ich und meine Familie (7 Erwachsene Personen) waren für eine Woche in der Villa Makar und wir alle waren begeistert. Ein sehr schönes Haus mit einem wundervollen Ausblick. Der Pool ist nicht riesig aber sauber und er ist sehr schön beleuchtet so dass man auch am Abend sich darin vergnügen kann. Der Platz um den Pool ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet und bietet jede Menge Platz für ruhige erholsame Stunden an der Sonne. Das Haus selber haben wir in einem sehr sauberem Zustand vorgefunden und es ist auch mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Als mir zum ersten mal zum Haus fuhren dachten wir dass es sehr mühsam sei, jedesmal hinauf zufahren da es schon sehr steil nach oben geht aber es war danach überhaupt nie ein Problem. Ein Auto ist zwar Pflicht um das Haus zu erreichen aber man ist sehr schnell in der Stadt und Umgebung. Ein besonderes Lob geht an Tina die sehr freundlich war und sich auch immer um unsere Probleme gekümmert hat. Mein Bruder und seine Freundin waren bereits zwei Tage früher im Haus. Sie hatten kein Auto, was ja wie erwähnt eigentlich Pflicht wäre aber Tina machte eine Ausnahme und fuhr die beiden diese zwei Tage sogar mehrmals hinauf und runter. Es gibt sicherlich noch günstigere Unterkünfte aber nicht wirklich bessere und meiner Meinung nach ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für diese Unterkunft exzellent.

Traumhafter Blick in ruhiger Atmosphäre

Als Familie mit 2 jugendlichen Kindern waren wir mit der modernen Ausstattung völlig zufrieden. Gute Zimmeraufteilung, ausreichendes Equipment und herrliche Lage mit tollem Blick über die Küste. Von den Inhabern wurden wir herzlich aufgenommen. Bei Fragen etc. waren sie jederzeit erreichbar. Der Außenbereich mit dem Pool ist eine wunderbare Oase mit den Bergen im Rücken und absoluter Ruhe. Das Haus liegt bei Fallwinden sehr gut geschützt. Ein Auto ist sehr empfehlenswert, da das Haus abseits und oberhalb von Markaska am Berghang liegt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Das Haus ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um die Küste zu erkunden. Wir können es guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Fantastic place

Beautifull house in the midst between mountain and sea,fantastic view and the most amazing swimming pool we ever enjoyed.House is quite off the beach which we appreciated, it's very calm.The house was clean and well equipped,the air conditioning in all the rooms worked perfectly(we hat 37 degrees celsius outside!)What to say about the owner?Tina was present when needed and helped out whenever we asked.It was a pefect week for as us and worth the money.

Toller Urlaub in der Villa Makar

Die Villa Makar ist ein prima Ausgangspunkt, um die Schönheiten der kroatischen Küste zu erkunden. Zugegeben, die Anfahrt zum Haus ist etwas abenteuerlich und gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber es lohnt sich. Hoch über der Stadt liegt die Villa Makar in den Bergen eingebettet und bietet eine wahrhaft spektakuläre Aussicht. Wir hatten das 4+2 Apartment gemietet und fühlten uns dort sehr wohl. Es bot alles, was man zu einem erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Auch die neuen Außenanlagen und der Pool sind wirklich sehr gelungen. Die Vermieter waren zu jedem Zeitpunkt freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht um ihre Gäste. Auch bekamen wir prima Tipps für Ausflugsziele und besonders schöne Strände. Von uns gibt es für die Villa Makar eine klare Weiterempfehlung! Danke Tina und Familie! Petra :-)

Geheimtipp!

Ich kann diese Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen, ein absolutes Erholungsdomizil, welches liebevoll gestaltet ist. Man hat dort oben absolute Ruhe, einen super Ausblick und der Infinitypool unterstreicht das ganze Ambiente. Die Vermieter sind äußerst hilfsbereit, jederzeit erreichbar und ansprechbar bei Fragen. Wir hatten die obere Wohnung gemietet (4+2), welche sehr sauber, schön und modern eingerichtet ist. Außerdem ist die Ausstattung einfach top, man findet alles was das Herz zum bspw. Kochen begehrt. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist stimmig. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hingehen, zum Erholen einfach ein Traum! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten finden sich in der Stadt zur genüge und wenn man abends essen möchte, so findet man auch genügend Restaurants. Wie man merkt, wir sind hin und weg von dieser Wohnung und ihrem Ambiente.

Located bellow mountain Biokovo, with awesome sea view, guest can enjoy privacy and relaxation at heated private infinity pool but again, in 5 min drive you can get to rushed city center of Makarska, shops, malls, supermarkets.
