Dear Jody, Thank you for choosing Island Beach Club F320 as your home away from home for your Sanibel getaway. We are glad that you found the property to be well maintained, and that the condo had everything you needed to settle in for an extended and relaxing stay. Island Beach Club has a terrific location, and the grounds are indeed lovely. We're glad you took notice and shared a nice review of the property, both inside and out. We apologize that the housekeepers missed the mark on the entry rugs when they cleaned on New Years Day, and we thank you for letting us know about it. We reached out to the owner's housekeeper and let them know that it did not go unnoticed, and they extended their apologies for the oversight. We've also reached out to the owners to explore options to increase airflow in the bedrooms, as the bedrooms at Island Beach Club are much larger than most others here on the island. The additional airflow is important, and keeping you cool matters! We want you warm when it's cold out and cool when it's warm out! It was so nice to meet you in person, and we would welcome the opportunity to assist you planning another Sanibel getaway for you (and your pup) when you find yourselves wanting to return to this very special corner of the world. Until then, keep dreaming of Sanibel (and Jupiter!). With Sunny Regards, Sharon and the Cottages to Castles Team

Dear Cindy, Thank you for choosing Island Beach Club F320 as your home away from home for your Sanibel getaway. We are thrilled that you settled in and found everything to be comfy and in order. Your recommendation for Avon's Skin-So-Soft is spot on! Bailey's General Store carries it, so it's nice to be able to have it as an option if no-seeums are bothersome. Some people are sensitive to them, while others aren't at all. The all-natural No-NoSeeum spray is also available on the island and it has the same success rate as Avon's SSS - it'll either bring relief or it won't! :) We look forward to having you and your pup back at Island Beach Club F320 next year, and we hope you'll enjoy the brand new plantation shutters that have just been installed. You'll enjoy the gulf views, along with some added privacy. With Sunny Regards, Sharon and the Cottages to Castles Team

Dear Anna, Thank you for choosing F320, and thank you for reporting the deficiencies with the condo. We work hard to make sure your vacation is a memorable one for all of the right reasons, and we clearly missed the mark. I can only apologize - and thank you - for reporting the deficiencies. The condo has been rented for the past 20 months straight, with no vacant dates until this week because of increased demand during the pandemic, so we are only now getting into properties and assessing them. Deep cleans are being done, and maintenance and repairs are being coordinated as well. We are wasting no time on this front. The master bedroom mattress, box spring and headboard are new, as they were a gift to the owners from the CFO of Sealy (a college classmate from way back!). They were delivered in March. The twin beds were newly purchased at the same time, so I can only attest that they are new, not to their comfort. The condo was scheduled to be closed this week for so that lanai tile could be installed (that was supposed to have happened in 2020 - thanks, Covid!), along with the new windows and blind treatments. As we reported to you at check-in, the previous guests did not crate their 2 doggies, and they ran in and out of the blinds, causing panels to break off. They also did not report that the top rack of the dishwasher was loose/broken (nor did the housekeeper), so thank you for letting me know about that. It was easier to purchase a new dishwasher than it is to get replacement parts, so a new one was installed this morning. I've also forwarded your comments to the owner's housekeeper for their review, specifically where the shower curtains are concerned. We so very much appreciate your feedback. Without it, we have no way of knowing how we are doing, and what we can be doing better. Rest assured, we'll make sure that your next visit exceeds your expectations. We look forward to seeing you again soon. With Sunny Regards, Sharon and the Cottages to Castles Team

Dear John, Thank you for choosing Island Beach Club F320 as your home away from home for your Sanibel vacation. We're glad that we were able to make the reservation and check-in process easy, and that you enjoyed the beach and proximity to the restaurants, shops and grocery. We work hard to connect the dots before and during your stay so it is a memorable one for all of the right reasons, and we would welcome the opportunity to assist you in planning your next Sanibel getaway when you're wanting to return to this very special corner of the earth. :) With Sunny Regards, Sharon and the Cottages to Castles Team

Dear Julie, Thank you for choosing Island Beach Club F320 as your home away from home for your Sanibel vacation. We are pleased that you liked the proximity to the water, and that you were able to enjoy the property, pool and beach. We hope to be able to add books, games and cards back into the inventory, after being required to remove high-touch items during the first year of the pandemic. Thank you for letting us know about the pens. We've replenished the Cottages to Castles supply of pens at the condo, so that will be most helpful when writing in the guest book :) We are eagerly anticipating the installation of the new impact windows and doors at the Island Beach Club condos, so that the units will be cooler, especially during the summer months. Why the developer made the master bedrooms so large and spacious, with only one air conditioner register is beyond us! When you're ready to return to Sanibel, we would welcome the opportunity to assist you with planning your next getaway. Until that time, Sanibel will be here, waiting for you! With Sunny Regards, Sharon and the Cottages to Castles Team

You'll be able to adjust the temperature with ease, and come and go from the condo using a personalized key code that is unique to you alone. We are excited to incorporate "simple" tech that will make staying in one of our properties effortless, as if you were in your own home. Dear Patti, It was so nice to meet you in person, and I'm glad that you enjoyed the location and meeting local islanders. I was especially glad to meet Safari! Thank you for taking the time to note that the apartment needs some repairs. Our goal is to exceed our guests's expectations, and clearly, we fell short in this instance. I apologize. Housekeeping had let us know about vertical blinds that the previous guest had broken, which we had let you know about at check-in. They are a custom length, and we discovered that renter in residence prior to your arrival had a doggie that liked to run along the windows when they saw people or birds, and that caused them to twist and break off. This is a downside of vertical blinds versus doggies. The doggies win. :) Housekeeping also noted that the weave of the patio chairs was coming loose/undone at a corner, and I offered to replace the chairs that same day for you when I met you at check-in, and you politely declined. We did replace them upon your departure. To make everyone's stay a memorable one for the right reasons, we rely on housekeeping and our guests to provide feedback, especially if items need attention or repairs. A welcome email and a departure email note requests that any deficiencies be reported so that we can tend to them and make your stay more enjoyable. We didn't receive any feedback during or after your stay, so we presumed everything was acceptable. The blinds and chair were replaced upon your departure. If you don't mind, may I email or call you and get your feedback as to what specific repairs are needed? If we don't know about it, we can't fix it! In addition, thank you for the feedback on the photos. I'll be sure to get fresh photos and update the website. It's important to me that photos closely convey what a property looks like, so I'll take another look and make sure they do just that. Despite Covid, the condo has been occupied since May 30, with only 5 days being vacant. That's good news, but that also means that there are most certainly items that need attention at this point in the fall season, with limited opportunity to do so while observing social distancing. I do hope that we may have another opportunity to host you at one of our properties, and to at least meet, if not exceed your expectations. With Sunny Regards, Sharon and the Cottages to Castles Team

Dear Kelly, Thank you for choosing Island Beach Club F320 as your home away from home for your Sanibel vacation getaway. Until then, Sanibel will be here, waiting for you! With *extra* Sunny Regards, Sharon and the Cottages to Castles Team
