Property was nice for the family. Very spacious and nice rooms especially upstairs. That being said furniture downstairs very dated and one of the couches felt broken. Pretty much the amenities are there but dated. Game room is a nice thought but pool cues are damaged and Foosball table needs work. Love the pool and the spring but no railings for access so if you have older people in the group it can be challenging. There needs to be better instruction regarding the trash. There was some communication regarding what to do if there was too much trash but nothing about where to go. Also, the instructions clearly state that the bin needed to be empty and whole bags only. However we arrive. The trash bin was half full of loose items so when the valet was collecting the trash they would only collect the trash bags. We put in them individually and not actually empty the bin making it more difficult when we were leaving to get all the trash out. All in all the house is nice. Pool is nice. The amenities are there. Just really needs to be updated and maybe some more instructions regarding checkout.

Für eine Gruppe teilweise zu wenig Inventar

Wir reisten mit sieben Personen an und mussten feststellen, dass teilweise Inventar und Sitzplätze nicht ausreichend zur Verfügung standen. Die Bilder ließen anderes erwarten. Ansonsten fühlten wir uns in dem Ferienhaus wohl und verbrachten erholsame Tage.

lets start with house was fine for our family. pool was heated in time for kids , they did enjoy it. location is good for all parks. a few things we were disappointed in. house did not smell clean or were counter tops clean we had to do it. furniture needs to be updated every thing very worn and beat up looking. the outdoor furniture is VERY worn and some chairs broken. the fruit flies coming out of sink drains, dish washer and garbage disposal were the worst, we tried bleaching everything, nothing worked

Disney Family Adventure

I wanted a quiet place to stay and for everyone to have a place to retreat after long days at the park. This property did not disappoint! Large kitchen for gathering, Everyone’s bedroom had a bathroom, so no problems getting ready in morning and waiting for bathroom time! We had one family with kids and they had their own “wing” in the house. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

Love the house!

I love the house…finally a house where upstairs isn’t so hot and had right size tv’s n each bedroom that was a biiig ol plus!!! Love the area it was in so definitely was peaceful and quiet. The only thing bad was they needed more bowls for cereal. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone n would stay again.

Fabulous Stay

We loved everything about this property! It easily accommodated all of us (10 adults and 4 kids). Rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was wonderful. We opted to pay for the pool heater and the staff on site was there in a flash to help us with that. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us - we left with some great memories!

Great house

This property met all our needs. The pool was wonderful. The kids and adults really enjoyed the pool. It was close to disney and so was grocery shopping. Had a few issues like a toliet and the patio door. Both were fixed by Tuesday. I would recommend this home to anyone that has a large family.

Mickey and Minnie Mansion Experience

The size was perfect for our group. Location was excellent and very easy to get to all Disney parks and anything you might need. The gated community was very well maintained. Wish the recycling program was explained better with regard to only being put in a certain grey bag and no seperate bin from garbage. Some slight upgrades needed like replacing chairs that have loose legs and the vinyl coming off, and large patio door very difficult to open. The overall appearance and quality of the home we great and we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you from the Canadians.

Vacation with family

The location of the house is excellent, very convenient to the parks, restaurants and shopping.. The house is very spacious but could use some TLC and cleaning. The kitchen could be better equipped for food preparation. The pool was great and enjoyed by all.

Best vacation home

The house was very accommodating to our large group that stayed here. The living room, kitchen, and dining room was very spacious and didn’t feel too small when we were all inside the house. You had a great view of the pool from inside the house so it was easy for the adults to relax while the kids enjoyed themselves.

Just what we needed

We had a very nice stay this home. Lots of room for multiple guests and children. We really.enjoyed the pool, and the kids also enjoyed the game room. We overlooked in the booking that trailers are not allowed, so that was a problem. However, the property manager kindly.provided a solution by allowing us to park at their office. We would consider staying here again in the future.

Good place for a large family vacation.

Overall good experience. A little carpet freshener would have been ok. Unable to watch tv in the bedroom near the entrance due to the Wi-Fi. The carpet in one of the master bedrooms need to be level.

Disney trip

The house was very nice. The internet was not hooked up so we had to do that. Also none of the TVs were hooked into the cable box. We did that and then it was okay. There were not enough towels. Called to get more and it took a day and a half. We did use the washer but there were not enough from the start. Other then that the house was beautiful, beds were very comfortable. There is plenty of room in this house. I would most definitely book this house again!

Spacious but lacking; Don't rent from Villa Direct

Spacious accommodations. Minimal line at gate but then had to go to the clubhouse to get a key which is a $20 per car extra fee that was buried in the paperwork. No kitchen towels and took over 12 hours to get some. Microwave door was literally broken in half - how could cleaning crew not notice unless they never cleaned it. Toilet had paper band across it but there was tp in the toilet so again, how could this happen unless it was never cleaned. When I asked for a replacement microwave, they sent a technician who confirmed it. No one called so three calls later, I was told they didn't have any and best they could do was for me to go out and purchase one and they would reimburse me. (which they did). No follow-up with me, just a credit card credit. Carpet is stretched so looks like snakes all over the place. How does one clean it I wonder. Pool and patio was clean...only 5 chairs at a 6 person table. Also, chairs were torn/worn indoors so definitely in need of replacement. One guest room had a headboard that was fake leather and peeling so bad all over the pillows and bed - piled up behind the headboard....gross. At least two of the showers were clogged really bad. Yuck to stand in dirty water. One 13 gallon trash bag for a place that sleeps 18? Two hairdryers didn't work....left a note with them on the kitchen table. Hopefully, they will be replaced. We certainly left it cleaner than we found it. Never would I rent from Villa Direct again. Met people in the clubhouse that had worse experiences than we did...again Villa Direct. Hope this helps them improve their business model.

Needs a deep cleaning

This property is in need off DEEP cleaning. There is a strong musty smell. The air returns were all covered with dirt and grime. The ceilings had thick cobwebs/dirt hanging down from them. The lower cabinet where the trashcan sat (and the trashcan itself) was splattered with food and liquid. There were hairs/crumbs on "clean" dishes in the cabinets. Walls and baseboards were dirty and splattered. A keurig is pictured in the listing so we purchased K-cups. However, there wasn't one and instead a regular coffee pot. The game room (converted garage) did have air hockey but it barely blew out air. The pool table leg was propped up by cardboard from coke cases and the fooseball table didn't have a ball. There were also dead roaches on the floor. (that, honestly, was troublesome but I understand that florida is home to lots of bugs). Upstairs revealed carpet that was dirty and bunched up (which has been mentioned in previous reviews from quite a long time ago). We found little bits of trash, etc. and a peanut sitting in the middle of the floor. Overall the place needs CLEANED. We also stripped the beds to reveal mattresses with urine stains. I took tons of photos and sent them to the property manager. They asked if we wanted a cleaning crew to come in but we had already left the house for disney and did not feel comfortable having people come in while we were gone and had not secured our belongings appropriately. We strongly feel that the pictures of the property do not accurately represent the current condition of the home. We did, however, find the location to be excellent with quick access to stores, restaurants, and Disney parks.

Great house!

House was great and super spacious for our group of 11. Loved the open layout of the living room and kitchen. Would definitely stay again. One small issue we had was that there were only two towels in the kids jack and jill bathroom that is connected to two bedrooms with 2 bunk beds in each room (sleeps 8 kids). Other than that everything was great.

Vacation stay at Mickey & Minnie’s Mansion

Our family totaled 16 people (10 adults/6 kids). The size of this house and it’s location for visiting Disney World was perfect! I would definitely recommend to others families. Our dislikes were that this home had limited towels and if you wanted to enjoy a heated pool there was an up-charge of $50. Expect to buy things like toilet paper, bath soap, salt, pepper, dish washing liquid upon your arrival. Luckily there is a Walmart conveniently close by.
