MORALA is a 3 bedroom holiday home with excellent sea views that accommodates up to 8 people.

Open plan Kitchen with fridge/freezer, freestanding oven/stove stop, microwave, dining/lounge area with lovely sea views, TV, DVD, reverse cycle air conditioner for your comfort (please note - combustion heater in picture is out of order and not for use)

Free WiFi

Bathroom with vanity, shower, small bath, separate w/c. Laundry with top loading washing machine. Return verandah with gates for child safety. Gas BBQ, plenty of room for parking and the boat.

Point Turton has an excellent boat ramp and jetty for those keen fisherman! There is also a general store where you can buy delicious pastries, take away foods, general grocery items, ice, bait and fuel. You can also enjoy a lovely meal at the Tavern On Turton.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - queen, bed 3 - 2 bunks.

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

No smoking inside

We had a lovely holiday here as a family of four which included our 13 and 14 year old teens. Kitchen was very well supplied with everything needed for cooking. Beds were also very clean and comfortable. Will come back again.

Great escape

Very comfortable house. Everything needed for a 3 night stay. Excellent location to explore the bottom end of the peninsula. Happy hour on the front deck with water views was ideal before heading out to dinner. Fully recommend this property.

This property is on excellent location. What a views from the lounge/dining area. However, the kitchen utensils and plates were dirty. There is a foul smell from the kitchen cabinets. There were only 2 toilet papers given for 7 of us for 3 nights and 4 days stay. Beds were comfy and clean.

Fantastic view

The house was fantastic. Beautiful and quiet location. Very comfortable bed and living area. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of pots and pans etc. Will book again. Plenty of room to park the boat out the back or front.

It has TVs in the lounge and main bedroom, free internet, a strong air conditioner in the lounge, floor fans in bedrooms, good water pressure, and enough warm water for four people. It is located in a relaxing and quiet area, away from crowds, just a few minutes drive from the deli, the pub, the Jetty, Magazine Bay cave, and the famous Flaherty Beach. Good communication and the security bond was refunded on time.

Comfy beds in spacious rooms , good set up all round . Nice to have a secure yard for your car tucked away behind the house . Great place to use as a base for exploring the bottom of the peninsula or even just Turton itself . We spent our days just sitting out the front on the verandah looking out over the water to Flarehtys beach and across the bay to Hardwicke watching all the 4 wds. Great place with or without kids .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay of 4 days was a very good overall experience and we would stay there again. Morala is very comfortable. The place is spacious, well equipped, with good views, and outside facilities including a fish filleting station. On arrival the house was clean and the bedding was more than adequate. An improvement would be to have a functioning TV for a minimum of free to air transmission (noted that there was not a functioning signal amplifier).

NBN internet is another great improvement as the net can be spotty at times over there and it’s nice to have a reliable coverage for those evenings spent at home. Love the new little covered area out the back,was a great spot to sit and have breakfast . The view is great as always and the house is fully optioned making for an easy and enjoyable holiday . The yard is secure and large enough . As always the ladies from Accomodation on Yorkes were both professional and helpful . It’s a great spot but I really can’t do it justice as you need to experience it for yourselves . Do yourself a favour and book a stay you won’t be dissapointed.

Good Accommodation, but could be better.

The Hot water temperature was just about room temperature, not even lukewarm. and it got worse with a single person taking shower. No heating provisions in the bedrooms. Owner should consider fixing the front door lock which is getting jammed sometimes.

Hi Chandrakanth, If you had contacted us about the hot water, I would have organized a tradesman out there straightaway to rectify the problem, but unfortunately you didn't during your stay. I will let the owner's know that heating maybe needed for the bedrooms and that the front door is getting jammed. With the wet weather that we have been having I think it may be a swelling problem. For future reference, It is more helpful if you contacted the office at the time so we could have tended to any problems, rather than putting in a review after your stay.

Beyond rustic charm

I would first like to start on a positive, Point Turton is a wonderful place! Perfect for children with it's shallow calm beaches, walking tracks and surrounds. This property is situated in a gorgeous setting with deck overlooking the sea, we enjoyed watching the sun rise and set, even spotting some dolphins one morning! Im afraid however this is where the positivity must end and i move onto the house. Upon entry it was more than obvious that this holiday home hadn't been cleaned for some time, so having four young children in tow (one baby) i took it upon myself to pre wash some of the dishes to use for our stay. Under the sink i was greeted by a juvenile cockroach, some steel wool with chunks of meat and fat stuck in it and a scotch brite that was covered entirely in animal hair. I found this both repulsive and confusing as when i booked it started that there were NO PETS ALLOWED yet the entire home was covered in a blanket of animal hair. Ok i thought, lets make the best of it! I got the vaccume cleaner out only to discover that like the rest of the home, it has also gone without service for quite some time and it was FULL. Im all for the rustic charm of a holiday shack by the beach but i would expect it to at least be clean.

Fantastic view and easy access to a walking path right across the road . Short walk down to the jetty and the tavern or you can take a short drive to Flaheretys beach Well equipped house with all that you will need to enjoy your stay . Just needed to tighten the aerial connection to get better TV reception but didn’t worry too much about wasting time watching it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place that feels like my teenage home . Its older decor just somehow works and makes it feel cozy . Open plan kitchen ,dining and lounge area works really well and the bedrooms are spacious. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean . Kitchen has pretty much all you need but is a little tight so might have to just let 1 person do the cooking . The wrap around verandah is great and the view is even better and with just a quick walk across a pretty quiet street you’re at the beach or you can take a stroll down a great walking trail. As always Dee and Sharyn from Accomodation on Yorkes were great. I would and have recommended this stay to both friends and family .

A week appointed kitchen and good fish cleaning station out back caters to the reasons for visiting Pt Turton. One concern is a stale smell in the bunk bedroom, signalling possible mold in the carpet. Nonetheless a wonderful place to stay on Yorkes.
