Increíble casa frente al canal de 3 dormitorios y 3 baños, casa de concepto abierto ubicada en la prestigiosa comunidad de Summerland Key Cove. Es el primer canal de aguas abiertas y uno de los pocos canales de flujo continuo que proporciona una excelente calidad del agua. El canal es profundo y ancho. Espere ver langostas, cangrejos y otra vida marina en su muro marino de 80 pies. Estará rodeado de casas de millones de dólares y a solo unos minutos en bote desde aguas abiertas en el Golfo y el Atlántico.

La propiedad está lo suficientemente cerca de Key West como para importar (20 millas) pero lo suficientemente lejos como para R&R (descanso y relajación). Al estar al final de la llave, evita el ruido irritante del tráfico de la autopista 1, que es raro de encontrar.

Very nice extended stay!

Wife and I (from Missouri) just finished two months here (February, March).The premises are adequately described in the listing, as are the reviews.Plenty of living space, for sure!Everything was spotlessly clean, and all needs are provided.The host (Luke) responds super fast with any questions.The refrigerator/freezer is fantastic, as is the AC performance.While a bit dated, in no way is it neglected.I feel the pricing is reasonable, and wife and I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Fishing and relaxing in the lower keys

This is a great place to fish out of. Nice dock, cleaning table, rod storage and bait freezer. Ramp to 2nd floor is easy on the knees. Bedrooms, kitchen, and living room are all very nice. Luke was a very friendly guy to talk to. Small pool was great to soak in after coming back from fishing.

Meets Our Needs Year After Year

The sun has set on another August in the Keys on Lagoon and we have already booked 2024. This place meets our needs for our vacation of boating and scuba diving and some remote working ... plenty of room including excellent dock space and lockable storage space for our gear, lovely neighbors, high speed wifi and a cordial and responsive host. Looking forward to next year!

The location of this property was great for boating and kayaking, easy access to the ocean without the usual Keys issues of too shallow waters. We knew the property was dated based upon the photos, however we did not realize that a flex space was advertised as a bedroom and that the entrance door to the property was through this room.

Great Location!

My girlfriend and I stayed here the month of September. We rented a 27 foot boat for the month and had no problems getting in and out of the deep, wide canals in the neighborhood. House had everything we needed including bikes, kayaks, SUP’s, bait freezer, and a nice Webber grill for cooking fresh catches. Nice room downstairs for setting up and storing all your fishing gear. Easy access to the Gulf and Atlantic with lots of great fishing. Lots of good places to eat and drink nearby.

Heaven in the Florida Keys

Can't say enough great things about the location of the home and very kind neighbors. Canal is clean, lower floor tackle storage area is immense and has a freezer for bait and extra bathroom. Home needs updating but very clean. We used kayaks, (great paddle area nearby.) Home had some maintenance issues, some took awhile to resolve but owner tried. Very livable and lanai gets great breezes. We enjoyed our stay.

Great parts: few noseeums, screened porch, bikes and kayaks tho double needs seats replaced, comfortable bed, great windows esp large one to porch, quiet AC, easy to fit our 20’ camper, downstairs storage very handy, good kayaking, great swimming when weather allowed. Few residences occupied early Dec but more for holiday so quiet except for frequent leaf blowers. Bad: 3rd bed is main access and only has louver doors so noisy but we only used 2 nights, couches uncomfortable and boat ramp too slippery to use even after brushing off. Overall comfortable place in good condition in fancy neighborhood , and convenient location. We’d rent again.

Nice location, nice neighbors, clean but dated

First of all the owner is very friendly and responds quickly. The house was clean but needs some kitchen and bathroom renovation. Don’t get me wrong it’s all functionable and clean. Very quiet neighborhood. 30 min drive to Key West. Nice having the car parked under the car port to keep in the shade. House is divided with a bedroom and bathroom on each side which is nice for privacy. Also a third bathroom on the ground level. Ramp was convenient for luggage.

Great value and location.

Luke is a great host: responsive and flexible. The location is great. Not too far from Key West, but also far enough away to unwind when you want to. The boat ramp worked for our 19' skiff but only at the higher of the two high tides each day. The house itself is a little dated and well loved inside but everything is in good working order. The king bed in the master is great, and somewhat of a rare find for vacation rentals in the Keys. Neighbors and everyone we encountered in the neighborhood were very friendly: the friendliest we've experienced in the Keys. The flow through canal was nice and clean and there is good boating, fishing, and diving access nearby in multiple directions. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Luke.

Wonderful

The property location was fantastic! The property itself was perfect for myself, husband and two adult sons. Luke was awesome to work with and quick to respond to all correspondence. The check in process was flawless as well! The home has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary items. We loved the cocktail pool on the sea wall, it was perfect for my husband and I. We have been renting in the Keys for many years and this is the first property where all of the neighbors were extremely nice, social and inviting. We actually made friends with our next door neighbors! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend time in paradise!

Hi Luke Your home is exceptional. It is in a great neighborhood and conveniently situated between the Keys. The neighborhood is beautiful and the people are so friendly. Any minor needs that I had were immediately resolved. Luke is pleasant and very easy to work with. The rental home is always clean and well maintained. One of my favorite things is sitting and chilling out on the balcony with family and friends. It is absolutely calming and relaxing overlooking the canal from that balcony. The home is well equipped with all of the essentials for my stay including bikes, paddle boards and canoes. This is my second stay at this rental. I highly recommend it and I will not hesitate to stay here again. It’s a great place. Myself and the family loved it. Pat

Comfy and Canal!

Great spot for our family of 4 and this is our 3rd year staying a month in Summerland. House is simple and probably one of the originals on the island, but it is well maintained and the best canal spot we've had yet. If you're needing new and shiny, there are other houses at higher price points for you. We trailered our small skiff down and loved the proximity to the open water. House itself was clean and comfortable. Cooking supplies, tons of bikes, kayaks, storage space...all nice bonuses. While it was not a problem for our small family, I still recommend the owner update the listing regarding the 3rd bedroom setup for larger groups- it's connected to the front and only entrance to the house and does not have a real, solid door to close it off from the living/dining area. Still our best rental in the area to date. Thanks for offering it!

Fishing vacation

We took our 27 ft boat. Dock was excellent. Fish cleaning table was great. Kids loved the paddle boards & kayaks. Bikes were great. We got groceries at Murray’s Market on the bikes. The entrance being through the third bedroom was the only downfall of the house. Location in summerland cove is fabulous.

Good value on Summerland Key

Back lanai offers excellent views of your boat on the canal and multi-million dollar homes/landscaping. Relaxing part of the island in beautiful Summerland Cove. We found a lobster in the canal and a brown moray eel in the channel using the supplied stand-up paddleboards on one of our non-boating days. We spent most of our time snorkeling, diving, and hunting for lobster in the back country and Atlantic. This house is in a great location for water sports and the seawall was well-maintained. Only downside is the deferred maintenance inside the house, but it appears that the owners are continuing making upgrades. If you're active like us, this shouldn't slow you down.

Another wonderful August and looking forward to August 2023

This property perfectly suits our needs ... docking for our boat, plenty of downstairs storage for our gear, roomy living and sleeping areas and easy access to the Atlantic or Gulf, marina, boat launch, dive shop and far enough away from Key West and Marathon to be relaxing yet close enough for convenience. Nearby restaurants are excellent. Looking forward to our return next year.

Great location in the Keyes. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy check in. Bikes and kayaks with nice grill. Balcony was very nice and peaceful. Champagne pool was to cold. Would recommend updates to the inside of the home. The home was clean and accommodations were very good. Love the ramps for entry to the home. Would stay here again.
