"Gulf Tower 1B, ubicado en 1051 West Beach Boulevard, es un condominio en la planta baja de dos dormitorios, dos baños, con increíbles vistas y acceso a la playa. Esta unidad contiene camas queen size en las suites master y guest. Un sofá cama en la sala de estar agrega espacio adicional para invitados y permite hasta 6 invitados cómodamente. Con una cocina completa y lavadora y secadora en el condominio, tendrá las comodidades y servicios del hogar mientras está fuera. Esta unidad tiene dos televisores y una videograbadora. ¡No olvide pasar algún tiempo descansando en el balcón cerrado que puede abrir para disfrutar de todas las vistas, sonidos y aromas del Golfo de México!

Beachfront

The condo was fair. Floors were dirty. Bathtub drain was slow and filled up while showering. Location was good. But will not stay at Gulf Towers 1B again. There has to be a better condo in the area for the price. Owners could spend a little money and make it more comfortable.

Family Friendly

Fun in the Sun

Condo was nice and so convenient to the pool and beach. We had a wonderful time. The security guard was a bit much on their security of people being questioned nonstop, not a lot of parking available but we really enjoyed our time. The staff at Bender is amazing!

Enjoyed this location!

If you love a super busy beach this is a great option. We loved the view and proximity to the beach as well as things to do. Keep in mind the pool is right outside the patio... so the kiddos are playing and enjoying the pool making this a great option for younger families but a little loud if not. Water pressure in the showers was awesome!! Kitchen was outdated but it wouldn't keep me from staying here again.

Great location

The property is right on the beach. Step off pool deck onto sand. It was a little dated but we were aware if that. It was perfect for what we were needing. Small parking lot but also knew that. We would definitely go back. Beautiful town as well.

The entire condo was under construction when we went. It didn't feel safe in the halls or the condo itself. The location was awesome, the pool was great, and the ocean is just on the other side of the pool. Once the construction is done, this should be a really nice stay. We were disappointed in the construction and how dated everything was.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved 1B! I want to reply to some of the negative reviews: we went to spend time on the beach, not the condo. It was well equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean when we arrived, but then we don’t look to find things wrong either. The hot water and tubs not draining- the amount of water that came out of the shower heads was crazy strong! The tubs drain could not possibly keep up with that amount of water, which is why they don’t drain properly. This is also the reason hot water ran out quickly. We adjusted the water temp so that it would last longer. Bender’s were very nice and responsive if we needed anything also. We would definitely stay there again!

Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Gulf Tower, 1B, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, the property description was definitely accurate, the furnishings are 100% outdated and in desperate need of updating. The property was seemingly clean, the floors had a lot of grit and sand on arrival.The master bathtub does not drain properly and hot water is very limited.I would not recommend this particular condo to anyone, I would recommend The Gulf Tower, I would just suggest staying in a different room. We had a very good time and we loved the location of the condo.

Decent Stay

Condo had all of the cooking utensils and pans. The Security guard was a bit overzealous. Our door was open (the drafts are very stong) for 7 hours and the security guard said "did you mean to leave your door open, its been open all day". I don't understand why she didn't close the door...or do something to mitigate our door being open for 7/8 hours. Walls were thin and we heard people playing loud music well past 10PM.

They sent text to update me on the rental process. Although I rented from VRBO it was with Bender. Didn't realize until I got credit card bill that I had to pay a VRBO fee. It was charged separately. Won't do that again. Description of condo was "dated and it definitely was! Had carpet which had seen better days and was not for our family which had crawling babies. Gulf Tower is the perfect location!

Reviewer Comments: We stayed here because our friends were in another condo on same building. The building is extremely run down and dirty. Hallways, staircases and exterior needs paint and repair. The condo itself needed replacement of utensils and pans. They were old, broken and missing. Vents were dusty. That being said, the location was great, close to everything we needed and very short distance to get to the beach. Pool was nice and seemed clean although we didn’t use it. Do

Great location!

Great location, great layout of house and enjoyed the enclosed double glass sliding doors of the balcony. There also had a dining table where we ate all our dinners! A rocking chair where l sat and watched kids play on the beach. Best part for me! Wished we could walk out to the beach from the house instead of taking back stairs. When l booked the listing said "new renovated... pictures coming soon" but it looks like they upgrades furniture but the carpet NEEDS to go. It stunk from the "tried to clean" when we arrived and it felt dirty stepping on it mostly due to the humidity or wetness. That was my one big dislike...l do not like smelly carpets. Told the agent and she had someone come spray it with vinegar. That helped a bit but l literally keep the sliding doors open and fans running all day long till close to midnight. It's hard to keep carpet clean in my own house...l would imagine even harder in a "beach wet vacation house"! For the check-in process - it was ok but we arrived around 11pm instead of asking us to pass by the office to collect keys. I wish the agent could put a lockbox at the house...give us code and we go straight to the house and open lockbox...get keys and at departure put keys in lockbox and back on door and leave. We loved the available kitchen stuff since we made all our meals. And enjoyed the pool areas....nice & clean. So overall we enjoyed the place and our time there!

Great first time at Gulf Shores

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first time in Gulf Shores. It was an amazing experience. For the most part we loved staying at Gulf Tower. The parking was a struggle due to the construction going on. Our condo was outdated. I feel like a few newer things would make it look a lot better. When we arrived the kitchen counter had some spills on it still and the floor was dirty. There was a pile of sand and some shells sweeper up in a pile out on the patio between the two doors like they sweeper them up but never picked it up. We found a Barbie behind the one side table in living room that I feel like the cleaning person would’ve saw if the room was cleaned properly. The mirror in the hall bath looked like it had fallen off the wall a long time ago and was just leaning against the wall (seems like it would be an easy fix). The master bedroom was very dark even with both lamps on. I know everyone is having a hard time finding people to work so I’m sure the cleaning crew was very sparse but like I said our overall stay was wonderful! The view of the beach and pool was awesome. Easy access. We would definitely recommend Gulf Towers to friends or family. Thank you!

2015 Gulf Shores Vacations

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property location was wonderful and I don't think we could have asked for more. The unit we rented was godd, it could use some updating and renovation. The photos showed the balcony chairs having cushions but when we arrived they were not present and we did not contact the rental company to find out where they were because we had brought camping chairs with us. The table and chairs on the balcony need to be upgraded, the table and chairs were the plastic type and should be something more supportive and stronger. The pictures posted online showed 2 bamboo type chairs with cushions and when we arrived no cushions and could not find them. There was what seemed to be a closet on the balcony but we did not have a key to access it which might have contained the chair cushions. There was hand soap provided but might want to consider providing guests with the pump hand soap instead of bar soap. Those are only minor things that we found that could be improved on. Overall we loved the location and other amenities the condo provided. It was great that we could take photo's from our balcony of the sunrise, sunset, dolphins and pelicans. It was great to be able to buy fresh seafood and prepare our dinner meals and eat our freshly prepared seafood dinners on the balcony overlooking the gulf. If the opportunity ever arises we will definitely go back.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ll start by saying I love this building and Bender Realty. The location and proximity to the beach is amazing. The people at Bender are amazing. I’ve stayed at other units in this building it is an older building, the units are older units and usually dated units. We immediately noticed the ceiling fans were dusty like really dusty. There was dried jam still on the kitchen table. I can’t even explain what is going on with the ceilings in bathrooms and kitchen but I spent a hour making sure there weren’t hidden cameras. This unit was just not cleaned properly. It was “dated” as we expected but there was a tub that never drained properly. The hot water lasted 10 mins max in shower. The beds were probably the worst I’ve ever seen in a rental. Good thing we aren’t TV people. We never cook at rentals but I’m sure the Goodwill/2nd hand thrift few items that were in the kitchen would have sufficed. On the plus side lots or drawer space to put your items and amazing views. Great pool and beach access. Don’t rent 1B there are nicer units in this building at same or close to same rate.
