Fantastic place to stay almost on the beach with everything you need for a holiday home, if you like peace and quiet this is the place, just remember to take food with you the last place to eat or by groceries is about 40 minutes away.

Wonderful stay, highly recommend.

We had the most relaxing and tranquil stay at this gorgeous part of the country. The accommodation was beautifully appointed and everything thought of. Robyn, the host, was very responsive and helpful in communication. I use a wheelchair and it suited my needs well. We will definitely be back, highly recommend.

Truly relaxing

Beautiful location, fantastic house. House had comfortable beds and lounge furniture, every possible appliance you could want in the kitchen, luxurious bathrooms and numerous chairs on the full width decking. The view was stunning panorama of Blackhead beach

Fabulous spot.

We had a great time walking on the beach and generally chilling out. Great spot for catching up with family. Luxury apartment right on the beach. Thank you for the crayfish! Such a nice surprise that made our stay even more special.

Absolutely fantastic

What a fantastic wee spot this is. We had amazing views and the accommodation was absolutely lovely and well appointed, with the hosts kitting it out with just about everything you would need. Robbie and Dave were absolutely fantastic hosts and incredibly helpful, providing information on local events and even giving us a bait when we forgot ours. They even gave us a crayfish. Will certainly being going back for another visit.

Beautiful getaway

Amazing view from a stunning home stay! Had everything we needed and more. Felt like home away from home. Stunning views from all rooms. Loved all the swings on the trees for the kids and straight out the gate onto the beach. We will definitely be back! Thanks again Robbie.

Easter 2024 at Blackhead Beach

Accommodation was very comfortable to stay in. Modern, clean, with an extremely well appointed kitchen (although some knives could do with a sharpen). Great communication from Robbie from booking to departure. We'll be back!

Bliss at the beach

Such a relaxing stay. I knew it would be nice, but this was excellent. The roar of the ocean serenading us the entire time. Robbie and Dave were great hosts, going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and knew the lay of the land. Highly recommended. Will be back for sure!

Fantastic hidden oasis

Loved our stay here. New and modern facilities - a home away from home (fabulous), two bathrooms was a must for us and hard to find, so it's a great bonus. Great views, lovely decking, and very close to the beach (access could be a little bit more user-friendly for elderly).The second unit was vacant so it was all very private for us. Booking both units is a great option for larger groups or extended families to stay.The hostess was awesome (even gave us a cray-fish from their catch - a nice surprise for us and a specially for my husband :) ).Overall really nice spot, would like to come back again.

Glad you enjoyed your visit and I acknowledge that access to the beach could be better but because it is reserve land and a marine reserve it is difficult to make changes ourselves but I will put a submission in to the council for improved access

A little luxury at the beach

Absolutely loved our stay here! We were staying for a wedding and it was perfect if not more for what we needed. It was sparkling clean, and had everything that we needed being fully equipped.Robyn was an exceptional host touching base making sure all was ok. Was lovely waking up in very comfortable beds to the beach view its just a shame that the either was so grotty! Thankyou for having us and we absolutely recommend this for a luxury beach get away.

Absolute beach front. Best position on the beach with a commanding view. Plenty of parking space. Big living areas. Spacious, very well equipped, very comfortable and all the amenities you could ask for as well as a deck that you don't want to leave. We'll be back

Fantastic friends weekend

Stayed here with my husband and our school friends - 9 of us total in our 30s. Loved the property. Ample rooms for our group. The house is immaculate and well-appointed. Having the beach right on the doorstep was amazing. Highly recommend. We will be back. Thanks Julie

Beautiful

Lovely property with everything that’s needed while escaping the madding crowd. Location is A++ Great for both little ones and adults. Very peaceful with lots of bird life. Host communication excellent and very very accomodating. We had a memorable three nights and would recommend to anyone . Thank you Robbie..we intend to come back again. 😊

Paradise Found!

What an absolute treasure - a perfect beachfront location and a property that could not be faulted! From the seamless check-in process to the well-equipped kitchen to the luxury wet-room showers down to the thoughtful touches like a supply of paperbacks/games and guest Netflix account for the rainy days, we were left wanting for nothing during our stay. Waking every day to the stunning beachside sunrise we were in our own peaceful private haven, there may have been other guests around but we certainly never heard or saw them! A perfect luxury esacpe and worth every cent - we will be back!

Great location

The accommodation is in two detached, large, very clean and comfy units separated by a wide BBQ area. We had one end, with two people in the other and we never heard a thing - there's good double glazing & overall sound insulation plus the wide area in the middle. The long deep deck at the front gives a panoramic view across the beach just a few seconds walk away, sliding doors providing access from the main room and from both bedrooms, each of which has its own large bathroom / wetroom with shower. We didn't need any of the disabled access features, but it looked like it was very well kitted out for anyone who might. There's a huge, excellent gas cooker & oven, full height dishwasher and a strong WiFi signal with what seemed like pretty fast access. No issues with mobile reception either. You're likely to want to just unplug from the online stuff once you sit in the lounge area looking out through the big doors / windows to that view... A great place to relax. Locally, there aren't many walking tracks because the steep hills are I think too slip-prone for that, but you can walk/bike/quad-bike for miles on the beach (even at high tide there's usually a route through). Lots of local towns around too, roads are windy but very pretty & makes for good mini road trips. Hosts are amazing, even delivering some feijoa and figs from their garden! We had a great time.

A peaceful retreat

We loved the sound of the sea and the location right next to the beach. The accommodation was wonderful. Plenty of space and everything you need.
